We had a wonderful time in Crescent City. The hotel is close to the ranger station, a lighthouse, and the scenic drive through the redwoods. The location was perfect for us. It was clean, and spacious. We parked right at our door. Breakfast was simple, but a nice start to busy days. Thanks North Coast Inn!!

Overall great place to stop on a road trip, and very dog friendly. Check in was fast and easy and I liked the dog rest areas. The beds aren't the most comfortable and the curtains are very thin, so bring an eye mask if you need it to be dark (especially if you're in the front room next to the sign like I was).

Great value if you are looking for a place to sleep with your pup. The potty area for dogs is in the same, very bright, spot as the smoking area. Comfortable beds, safe, clean, spacious showers. I'd prefer to smoke in my car, but a bunch of trailers were parked around the smoking area. Right next to coffee shops, and gas stations. I usually camp, but it was December and I don't like to be cold.

I had no problem checking in last minute on a discount with my service animal. Slept well and left early never got a chance to eat breakfast. Maybe I will next time. Front desk really helpful and friendly. Comfortable fairly clean rooms with all amenities including coffee pot and coffee in my room

Pros: Friendly staff, easy parking, close to everything, our room was clean. Cons: I was unaware at time of booking that this hotel has NO air conditioning!!(They did find us a fan bc the room was HOT) Not everyone was able to get a fan. The bed and pillows are VERY hard. The room is serviceable BUT in our room there was a lip to the doorway going into the bathroom. It LOOKS flat but it's NOT. Tripped over it and fell into the bathroom. Have multiple bruises on my body and hurt my foot.

The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our room didn't have an AC, so the provided us some fans to help keep us cool. The room itself needs a few repairs, but it didn't have any big issues. Great for it's price, and dog friendly.

The room was ridiculously dirty. The floor was sticky and our feet/socks were black within five minutes. After that, we kept shoes by the bed and wore them anytime we had to walk, even to the bathroom. The heat gave us trouble, the shower seemed like it was collecting water under the floor, and I waited too long to write this review, so my memory on other specifics isn't great, but overall it was kind of gross. We didn't ask to switch rooms because we assumed all rooms would be in the same condition. At checkout, when I reported these things to the employee, I only received a sorry and lots of "that's so strange, our housecleaners are usually stellar and that's our most popular room," which I was skeptical was true. Also, heads up, breakfast was some bananas, a small amount of cereal, and a half jug of milk in a fridge. Thankfully, there's a Starbucks next door, which was the best thing about our stay.

This location was selected based on price and rating on Hotels.com, but we were really disappointed with our selection. There were homeless people hanging around the area asking for money as you walk to your car. The room really lacked a good cleaning and my wife refused to shower there.

A clean and comfortable place to stay in Crescent City! Our room came complete with a coffee maker, refrigerator and hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable. The person in the office was kind and inviting. The location of the accommodation is quiet and within walking distance to the beach and shopping. I would definitely stay there again. 5 stars!

Paint doesn't count. There was black mold in the shower. The shower curtain was ripped a lot. Windows were FILTHY. The room smelled STRONGLY of bleach when we walked in. Thankful for several windows to air it out. Breakfast was bananas, toast, and instant oatmeal.

The staff were friendly. The room was dirty upon check in (spills on the floor still, food residue on side tables, something wet and sticky on wall, tv remote was held together with scotch tape). Fridge was unplugged and flooded with water (from the freezer defrosted and not cleaned). Pillows were so hard it hurt my neck. The main door to the room and bathroom door was clearly kicked in several times and poorly repaired. The heater was so loud and on its last leg.

The motel is right off the highway and is very noisy all night long The bathroom was outdated and plank flooring was sticky when walking on it Room was clean , bed comfortable, breakfast was ok for continental breakfast, parking area was clean and orderly, shower pressure good , hot water for shower was good as well , TV worked well I could sleep here again Price was high for this type of motel and the type of room and noise level - so close to highway 101 and all night and day traffic

I've stayed here several times. It's an older remodeled motel that is clean and the staff friendly. My only main issues is the bed. It's hard and just plain uncomfortable. Take some Advil when you go to bed, so you won't be so sore in the morning! The room upon first opening has a heavy smell of the vinyl flooring they remodeled with. The provided coffee in the room would be a "don't bother" and so walk yourself next door to Starbucks. Overall, I really can't complain too much since it's actually a good bang for the buck if you just need a place to land for the night.

Affordable rooms a short drive from the ocean and the Redwoods. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are dated but very clean, bed was comfortable, the fridge and microwave in our room were much appreciated, and we would definetly stay at North Coast Inn again.

Shower in the 3 bed room was weird. Cold most of the time. Seems like heater maybe triggered by the light switch but not sure. Took two night showers and cold as cold can be. Two days showers was perfect.

The staff was super friendly once we were at the property but beforehand it was difficult to get a hold of them as they don’t answer the phones. We came at the end of May and the room was hot and stuffy since they don’t have AC, we had to ask for a fan. The water in the bathroom sink was scolding hot and could not change to another temp since the knob was broken, we had to use the shower water every time. Other than that it was okay, for the price it’s what you can expect. I would say it’s definitely worth it to pay a little more for a more comfortable spot especially if you’re there to hike around the areas you want to get back to a nice comfy place to rest.

The staff was extremely friendly. We were about 15 minutes late to the continental breakfast and the lady opened it back up for us to let me and my children eat! They greeted us every morning. We came out of our room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean! And I really liked what we paid for it as well.

I was told it recently changed hands, so i gave it some grace. However, having spent nearly $100 a night, I feel like it's a little overpriced in its current state. I think i got one of the older rooms because my son didnt want to be on the ground floor. So maybe that was on me. I will say, the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful in solving the personal issues I had and the room was clean and we felt safe staying there with just us, Mother and 6 year old. The staff member I spoke to said they intend on making some upgrades as soon as they arent fully booked during busy season. They are clean, friendly and accommodating.

This Inn was right on the main drag going through town. Very noisy. Out the back window of our room was the Starbucks drive through, very noisy. We had a wonderful time in Crescent City. The hotel is close to the ranger station, a lighthouse, and the scenic drive through the redwoods. The location was perfect for us. It was clean, and spacious. We parked right at our door. Breakfast was simple, but a nice start to busy days. Thanks North Coast Inn!!

The motel is right off the highway and is very noisy all night long The bathroom was outdated and plank flooring was sticky when walking on it Room was clean , bed comfortable, breakfast was ok for continental breakfast, parking area was clean and orderly, shower pressure good , hot water for shower was good as well , TV worked well I could sleep here again Price was high for this type of motel and the type of room and noise level - so close to highway 101 and all night and day traffic

A clean and comfortable place to stay in Crescent City! Our room came complete with a coffee maker, refrigerator and hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable. The person in the office was kind and inviting. The location of the accommodation is quiet and within walking distance to the beach and shopping. I would definitely stay there again. 5 stars!

We made a last minute decision to drive from Oregon down to the Redwoods and this place was right in the middle of where we wanted to be. It has friendly services but the breakfast could've have a little bit more selections. We were close to where we wanted to go and end up after. We made it to the Trees of Mistry and the Avenue of Giants. Breath taking is all I can say. This place was neat and clean as well.

Although the room was only to sleep at, I had the understanding that we would have continental breakfast available, that’s the number one reason why I got that hotel but in the morning before checkout we went to breakfast and all they had was toast and coffee, a banana. I was disappointed about that because I could have stayed somewhere a little better.

The room was really nice and very large and clean. However, they have a sign inviting you to breakfast and when we went there they had a few half muffins and coffee and that was it. They should know for breakfast if they’re not going to give it.

Location was good.. central to everything. Definitely paying for the location and proximity to ocean. Staff was great!! Room was clean and spacious. Bed was hard for my liking. Weird smell in bathroom after shower. Biggest complaint is breakfast. It is literally only toast, hot and cold cereal. I wasn’t expecting a 5 course meal for breakfast, but a bagel and some juice would have been nice. For the cost of the room, I think there could’ve been better effort for breakfast.

The reviews give a good impression of this place. The pillows on the bed seemed like they were 5 years old, super flat. Bathroom hasn't been updated since the property was built in the 60s or 70s. Paint doesn't count. There was black mold in the shower. The shower curtain was ripped a lot. Windows were FILTHY. The room smelled STRONGLY of bleach when we walked in. Thankful for several windows to air it out. Breakfast was bananas, toast, and instant oatmeal.
