Comfortable but dated rooms, the property was very clean, with staff observed cleaning even the baseboard moldings in the hallways! The breakfast area is quaint and there is a balcony on the second floor hallway overlooking the lobby and breakfast area. The elevator was broken when we arrived and we had to bring our suitcases up to the third floor. No ETA on its repair and it had been broken for 5 days. As we were solely using the stairs and the breakfast was all carbs (no protein), we didn’t ever go past the front desk so didn’t know the elevator was fixed until we saw a luggage cart in the 3rd floor hallway. All in all, it’s a pretty nice place and I’d stay there again.

Property was across from harbor. Close to Redwood tours. All day coffee was great. We had reserved an upper room but the elevator was not working when we arrived. Had to take a 1sr floor room with to Queens as we did not want to climb steps. For the rate hotel was great.

This is a budget hotel with a continental breakfast. The bed we had was clean and comfortable. Other than some road noise from 101 outside the inn, the room was quiet at night. We were on the middle floor but did not hear anyone on any side of the room. Parking is right in front of the building and we could see our car from the room. We walked to a place for dinner which was good. We would definitely stay here again.

The room could have been a bit cleaner and the decor is dated. There was a used towel and washcloth in the room when we arrived. The staff was amazing though and provided some great ideas for seeing the nearby redwoods and for places to dine. It was a very convenient location. I would stay again just for the service the staff provided.

Very comfy room and bed. Overlooked the harbor. Very nice staff. Always smelled clean and fresh. Even saw them washing the hallways walls!! They open the windows in the halls every day and let the fresh air come in. Only complaint was the breakfast choices. Cereal, breads, juices and apples and tangerines. Would have been nice to have some protein. Breakfast area was always clean the the staff were ways asking if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again. Great food options within walking distance.

The hotel is nice in many respects, although I found the room we were in was not completely cleaned before we were granted access. There were wet towels in the tub and dirty sheets on the beds. It was midnight when I discovered this as I’m a night owl and decided to pull the sheets back and saw they were dirty. Staff was pleasant and quick to bring me new sheets, and I offered to change them. We decided to stay and enjoyed the rest of our trip and stay.

Property was ok, but looked dated. Room itself was dated, the bed was comfy but sheets and comforter was straight out of the 80s. Couch that was in the room looked like it was made in the 80s ... pleather should not be that sticky ... Now the real important stuff: Internet was advertised as 50 MB+, in reality it was 2-3 megabit ... Front parking fills up quick but there is plenty of space in the rear. Offered complementary breakfast goes quick and the dining space gets packed quick.

Cute Inn in this small NW CA town. They really need a lot of updating but it was comfortable and quiet and everything worked. Pillows REALLY need updating please! Easy to get anywhere you want to visit. Would stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable but the decor was really dated- it felt like being in a 1980s JCPenney catalog. The blanket was on the thin side and the heater only blew out cool air. The employees I interacted with were kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel could have received 5 stars. The only complaint I have is the beds. They are so hard! I can’t even call them firm. I don’t usually have back pain, but I’m still having trouble. It was very difficult to sleep, and I think that should be priority in a hotel. Everything else was good!

The room was large, but the mattresses were soft, and the pillows were cheap. Shower was weak. This hotel is overpriced for what people get - - it wasn't any different than a cheaper hotel we stayed at about two years ago - - only more expensive. Why? Breakfast was minimal. Easy parking, and the room facing the back of the building was quiet.

My wife and I stay here whenever we are in town, which normally is three or four times a year. This is an older hotel, but we enjoy the rustic appeal and charm. As soon as we walk in the front door and are greeted by Angela at the front desk we feel so glad to have chosen this place. This is our fourth year coming here and we have always found the place to be clean and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They do have a free breakfast that does start the day, although it is on the basic side, cold cereal, bagel, oatmeal, and fruit. Beds and pillows are both a little on the firm side to me. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

Saturday night staff December 6th was aggressive towards my a few girls on my basketball team and physically accosted a few of my girls by making contact without consent. The girls were being too rowdy but physical contact with a minor is never ok. I have stayed here many times before with my teams over the years but this will be my last year staying here.

Room is clean and decently quiet. Located right across from the harbor. Continental breakfast is only cereal and bagel/ toast options. Coffee/tea selection is great. Machine makes mochas and cappuccinos. Mexican restaurant a few doors down Los Compadres is fire! Chart Room on the harbor has great seafood.

We (family of four, with two grown-up children) had three rooms for one night, as a stopover on our trip back to LA from Oregon. A lovely hotel, superb facilities, large, clean and well-maintained rooms, and friendly staff. Immediately opposite the harbour, which made for a lovely walk in the evening to see the seals. We had dinner at the Good Harvest Cafe, two minutes walk away, which was excellent. All in all, we would highly recommend the Lighthouse Inn on all counts.

Nice big room with long sink counter, comfortable bed & pillows, quiet room, nicely renovated shower/tub combo. stool used lots of water and took long time to refill. Bkfst: no proteins or yogurt. Juices, teas, specialty coffee machine, cereals, bagels & toast.

AC worked well, we like a nice cool room for sleeping at night and was able to get that. Beds/pillows were comfortable. No issues with anything. Breakfast in the morning was basic, wish they would have had some scrambled eggs/bacon or a waffle machine like some hotels have. Overall, it was fine I'd stay again.

This property is very quaint. It’s decorated with cute doll houses and copies of famous impressionist paintings. The rooms are large and comfortable. There are no usb plugs so be sure to bring a adapter and breakfast is very limited.

Very friendly staff. Great location. Plenty of parking. Yes room is dated but it was really clean and spacious. We wish there had been more options for breakfast especially yogurts and waffles but we really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby.
