Quality Inn Tucson Downtown near Convention Center

Icemaker broken no ice on property at all anywhere. Continental breakfast also had waffles except the waffles tasted nasty. Overall we just needed a place to sleep and the price was right.

Over all a Nice Stay. The bed was good , the room was very Big . The pool was bad , not clean . I Think you Will bee sick it you went in it.

Clean room, good, safe parking

Pool is indefinitely closed, and when you see the picture of it you'll see why. Front desk staff was horribly rude to everybody she spoke to while I was there to check in. I'm also going to add that she apparently doesn't know how to program a key card because four people came up during that time and had to get rekeyed. In the room you'll see that there's a giant sticky trap next to the air conditioner. There's also drywall over the floor by that wall, looks like it came from the ceiling where the curtain track has been hung. There was something gross stuck to the bottom of one of the sinks, and something blue sticking out of the drain of the other. There were several sinking spots in the floor as well, on the second floor. It's in a horrible and loud neighborhood, surrounded by random homeless encampments. Breakfast had juice sitting at room temperature because the machine doesn't work, gravy smeared all over that corner of the cabinet that was apparently supposed to be biscuits and gravy, and a waffle burning in the waffle iron, or possibly just waffle stuff on the back of it, I'm not sure I did not look closely but I could smell it. No coffee either morning And tables were disgusting both. Sunday morning a completely different front desk person was very rude to somebody asking for ice as they had been instructed to by a sign on every ice machine building.

You get what you pay for at the “Quality Inn”. The tv didn’t work, the room was aged and not very clean. The pool was closed which was great for 100 degree.

The carpet is sticky, ice machine broken, the pool is green, the sheets are wrinkle and the room has a smell, less food for breakfast

Walked in to a horrible smell. Pillows were uncomfortable and pool had so much bird poop everywhere that it was basically unswimmable. Restaurant beside had great staff but food left a lot to be desired.

There were lots of people setting up for a rock and gem convention on the property and in the main lobby. I was told the convention was happening a week later. Made things a little more inconvenient. the breakfast wasn't great. The property is older and so are the pictures of the property. Its a little run down, however, the beds were super comfortable. I got a great night sleep, so if you don't mind the old property where the amenities aren't great, the rooms are so so, but the beds are comfortable, this place may work out for you. Hopefully things would be better when the convention is not going on.

Front Desk staff was very nice. Very helpful. Our room was nice, big and clean it had every amenitie in the room that you'll need. Loved that the Hotel had early morning breakfast and coffee. And we were able to park right next to our sliding door window which we liked a lot. Great place to stay with an amazing good restaurant attached to it.

It was ok, not super clean!

I found the staff were not helpful. I missed breakfast by 5 minutes and was not allowed even a bagel. The main problem was I had a shower and my feet turned the tub black. Next morning same thing. Asked for a different room and was told none were available. I had appointments and no time pack up and search out another hotel. There were rooms available when I went online later.

My stay was not "quality". I found 3 roaches in my bathroom. I don't know if it was worse because it was on the first floor, but the manager didn't even speak to me until the next morning and even then, she did nothing. There were numerous things that were not kept up well. The 2 positives are that the front desk employee on my first night was very nice and the bedding was clean and neat. However, I will not be returning and don't recommend this place unless you are ok with sub-par conditions.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Within the first hour of being there two cockroaches the size of half dollars and a smaller roach were in my room. I immediately contacted the front desk. The lady working told me she couldn’t switch my room because it’s possible other cockroaches are in that room to so what’s the point? Those are her words exactly. She also told me she couldn’t give me a refund, but she could come to check the room, kill the cockroach and give me my deposit back and there’s no Manager on property. I had no choice but to stay in this room as it was late and I had to work early in the morning as I go to get into bed I then realize the comforter is crusty and the sheets These were not stained they were dirty! The night stand next to the bed, had marijuana and trash in it the floor had hair ties and trash on it and the management Tammy is aggressive, rude and very argumentative!

Smells bad and bathroom was dirty full Of hairs everywhere

The bed was the only clean thing about the room. Ceiling in bathroom was patched and ugly. Didn’t even want to take a shower. Walls were banged up.. could use a couple coats of paint and new carpet. The employee who checked us in was very nice!

Roaches. Dirty food in microwave. Stains on bedspread. Found a long black hair on the towels. Dried urine on toilet seat. Basically hasn't been cleaned at all. Probably needs a fumigator. 0/10 do not recommend and pray I get a refund.

The hotel location worked well for us. The bathroom in room #150 is in terrible shape. The bath tub is chipped AND THE CHIPPED SPOTS ARE RUSTING. The room walls are damaged where the chair rubs against the wall resulting in holes in the wall and the sliding patio door is very dirty and the locking mechanism needs repair. The breakfast was not up to Quality Inn standards that we have come to expect - at 7:00 am there were no muffins, no yogurt, no milk for the cereals.

Was fine to crash for the U of A game. Nothing special, run down area but breakfast was decent. Room was fine. Close to stadium and I-10.

Freeway noise is a bit much

The reception area was very smart and the check in was quick and easy. The access to the room was via a looked door into the block. The area inside didnt give a great impression and had a slightly strange smell. Room was large, clean and comfortable however there was a lot of noise from the nearby freeway and local area, with car alarm and shouting in the evening

Very loud, old property.

Shower faucet for hot/cold didn't work properly, and slider to the patio had no lock... just a bent bar to hold it shut.

We went there for the 4th of July fireworks and it's a great location to see them. However, the hotel was extremely subpar The key cards did not work for the outside doors so if we didn't block the door we would get locked out. Extremely high deposit for such a run down property. Nothing in the room is worth $5 let alone $100 . Non functional internet. Breakfast consisted of stale off brand cereal with no milk So not sure what we were supposed to do with that , weak watery coffee. Unable to control water temperature in shower and could not get it hot.Check out time 11:00 and no option to extend to 12 without unreasonable fees. Room in complete disrepair.

The room itself was adequate and clean, definitely aged, but the bed was comfortable. Smallish pillows and lack of towels was a minus.

It was way too noisy. I didn't get much sleep. It smelled bad. It was the worst hotel experience I ever had. I was very very unhappy. The people next room were talking and it ewas as they are sitting right next to me because I could hear everything very well! I checked in and went and got some food. When I walked in the room I knew I will be unhappy staying there. Then I called front desk and asked if I could my money back and go somewhere else they said you have been there for couple hours and can't get your money back. I have stayed at Quality Inn in other part of country but this one is the worst ever. It's not Quality at all!

Requires a 100$ cash deposit which is stated no where in the booking info. They were incredibly rude to someone in need, I booked a room for him and bc of the deposit he could not stay. So I tried to get my money back. Turns out he did stay after working for the cash deposit and there was a miscommunication. The staff took this out on the person trying to stay and their behavior was absolutely unacceptable. It’s also incredibly sketchy to have a cash only required deposit.

Rooms were dirty . Staff were very rude unprofessional and rip people off on their deposits. They got a sign that it’s preferred to pay cash deposit in order to keep the money for themselves. She threatened to call the cops on me for trespassing because I asked her to show me what she was charging me for a supposedly staining of the sheets which she refused to show me. I would be ok with being charged if it were true but the way she handled the situation gives me the impression that they are ripping people off.

Staff was very helpful. The room had some cat hair on the chair and in the desk drawer. All other areas were good.

They did not give me back my deposit, they assumed I smoked in my room , I am not a smoker, right from the beginging , I was giving a attitude, the office clerk just shouted to me there was smoking in the room no deposit....I do not smoke .she would not let me go with her back to the room to check what's going on .. they refused with a attitude and cursing me out wanting to physically fight with me ..I have never been treated with such disrespect .and humiliation,and disscuss, I don't know what steps to take now because she straight robbed me for my 100$ deposit ...I explained to her I don't smoke, but shd wasn't trying to hear me.they were very voulger rude a disrespectful, there was also other guest that got to see the play out .

The manager was very rude white female blonde lady in the afternoon. Stayed there before and was charged $50 for deposit and when we went back she was rude and said $100 for deposit. Then when called on it for last time she was extremely rude on the phone and just kept saying $100. Didn’t return back plus the last time we were there the hallway floors to our room was socked and wet as if cleaned and not dried properly. Smelled like smoke in the room. Services there wasn’t very pleasant or kind.

Great stay staff was great.

No one at the front desk when i walked in. I rang bell & waited for awhile. Called the phone #, yelled "hello?" Finally went walking down halls, looking for staff. Turns out there was one woman manning the place at 7:00 pm & doing everything! We paid for & wanted a king size bed, but the only one they had available (supposed to be non-smoking) smelled like cigarettes when we opened the door. Had to ask for another room, which was 2 queen sized beds. The over-worked lady who had lots to do did call my new room & make sure it was better! The should double or triple her salary for wearing many hats!

It exceeded our expectation. Worth the price. Brenda the front desk lady was kind and accommodating to replace the bulbs of the lamps not working.

Trash all over the property. Homeless people roaming all around. The location was awful.

this property was not as bad as i heard . the neighborhood in s. tucson next to the barrio is not so good

Its conveniently located.

It turned out fine, convenient actually, but I was unaware the hotel was hosting tons of vendors. So it was busy.

A nice and convenient place when I travel to a conference in the resort. Breakfast does not have too many choice but it’s fine for me.

The lobby was newly renovated, but the rooms and the "breakfast" was not as you would expect. The breakfast consisted of biscuits and gravey and cereal.. It was in a room on the 2nd floor. Hopefully things will be better after the major renovation.

Very comfortable and pleasant, also beautiful, accessible and they include a good breakfast

My kids always look forward to breakfast at hotels and this breakfast bar was not great.

Small room. seemed dingy. I liked the size of the bathroom. And their breakfast was good.
