Pro s were super market right across the street.cons pool was tiny.

Property is rather old, so the carpets are pretty dingy and no hot tub (as advertised). However, the pool was open late, the room was decent and appliances worked. About 7 to 10 min drive to the beach. Staff at the desk were very curteous. A great ice cream shop across the road & Overall, it was decent enough for the price per night.

Parking was fine, not a lot of customers at the time of our stay.

Horrible room. The air conditioner was contaminated with black mold that made the room stink above their sent they spray in the room. It triggered my sons allergies gave me a stuffy head. We spent 2 days without air conditioning because when it was off the room was fine. Pool was cold and murky. Toilet ran on and off all day and night. Worst stay ever in a choice hotel!!

Everything was amazing! Heated pool! Great rooms! Great staff!

Everything was great besides the smell we stayed here 3 nights we had to buy air freshener to make it smell decent. In the description it says hot tub and sauna but there wasn't.. just a pool and there was no towels at it. Breakfast is alright. Other than that it was okay people were friendly.

Hotel and Rooms are clean and smell nice. We booked it because it had a heated indoor pool. Every time we went to the pool ot was freezing and no pool towels. Went to the front desk and they said they were working on the pool. Hotel just needs updates. Had a nice stay.

Room was clean and cleaned daily. Service was great very friendly employees. Breakfast was good! Pool could use some cleaning especially around the walls and windows.

Older hotel, elevator was scretchy and dirty. SUPER dusty EVERYWHERE. Hallway was 80 degrees (thermometer was set to that!) And smelled weird. Room smelled terrible too. Carpet was awful, old and grimey.. bed was ok.

Free breakfast was good and the indoor pool is heated. Very clean room

My hotel room had dried male fluids all over the head board and the sheets had yellow stains. I can handle the broken bathroom door, the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, and dirty carpet but I don’t want to sleep in peoples fluids. When I asked for new sheets and if someone would please clean it off they didn’t and seemed annoyed. They handed me a new pair of sheets at least so I slept on those and got a blanket from my car. I asked them three times to clean it and they didn’t. I wasn’t going to write a review, but they didn’t give me my deposit back and now I’m frustrated I’ve got to deal with them again.

The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There were dirty handprints on the wall. We could hear people slamming doors at all hours of the night.

I didn't like ANYTHING. It was DISGUSTING. THE FLOORS LOOKED LIKE THEY HADN'T BEEN VACUUMMED SINCE THE HOTEL WAS BUILT. NASTY STAINS ON WALLS NEAR SINK, TUB, TOILET, ALL THE DOORS. THE ENTIRE hotel was NASTY. The gentleman working the breakfast bar was nice and the dining room was clean.

Bathtubs were dirty, beds did not look like they have been changed, the rooms smell dirty also one room smelt like marijuana, the breakfast was great, the visiting area downstairs at front desk smells clean

The man at the front desk was friendly and social. The carpet was filthy in the halls….room carpet dirty. Old and in definite need of renovation. Roach seen in doorway!! Never again!!!

The room was disgusting, floors left our feet black, walls filthy, tv and phone didnt work, kids were banging on our doors and running off, staff didn't do anything. I made complaints and nothing was done.

When we pulled up we noticed it was an older hotel. Which isnt a deal breaker. Front desk was friendly and nice. Once we got our room keys we went to the elevator and went to the 2nd floor. As soon as we got off the elevator we noticed how dirty the carpet was. When we opened the door on room 229 we were hit with a dirty/musty smell. Thinking the air was set high we teied to cool it down with the AC. This still didnt help the smell. Bathroom was dirty and even brown stains on the walls. The floor was so dirty that we kept our shoes on the whole time. Definitely will not stay there again. Ive stayed in worse but not with my 5 year old. We decided to check out and lost our money due to a no cancelation policy from Hotels.com.

There was a foul smell in the room smell like mold. The bathroom needs to be updated. There was mole in the sink. Sheets and blankets has stains on them. The hotel needs a complete makeover.

We come here for the price and the location being convenient but it is not clean . The room smells like the air filter hasn’t been clean and the sink had hair in it . It smelt like mold . And there was mold forming in the shower on the ceiling .

this was the 4th time we stayed at Quality inn Gulf Shores. good location, clean, nice indoor pool, breakfast (waffles,eggs, sausage,cereal, juice, coffee) very good . healthy options also . kid friendly, no animals. they had redecorated since last stay (beds, flooring and decor) and great price for people on a budget.

The staff was friendly. But, the room we stayed in smelled absolutely horrendous. It was like a urine smell. The carpet felt disgusting. There was what appeared to be a blood splatter on the wall between the beds. The price was cheap though. So, I really didn't expect much. Also, the wifi didn't work in our room, it didn't reach. I was able to connect at the pool, but not inside our room. We weren't there but to sleep and late at night, though. It got the job done so it is what it is.

Very noisy, woke us up in the middle of the night 2-days in a row (4-night trip) people on the second floor sounded as there were wrestling and running through the halls.

Staff was great, room had some lighting issues as so did some lights outside. Room was VERY bare! Big room, with plenty of room for a couple of chairs and a table, but only had a desk chair and small desk. Very musty smelling in room, when you opened the door. Hated the smell.

Had a late check-in everything went good. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only bad thing was the shower was for a handicapped and the water got all over floor.

Overall it was a good hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful, the only thing was the pillows were too soft and the toilet was really low to the floor. I would stay again, I would just bring my own pillow ☺️

The bed was comfortable but the room smelled like mildew and the shower was very weak with a sit down platform that couldn’t be moved.

Room was filthy. Toothpaste all over the sink and the mirror, used toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom, black mold and a string mold odor. I asked for another room because it was NOT clean. There was no other room available so I cancelled the reservation. The assistant manager allowed a refund of one night, not both nights, but the corporate office approved a full refund. Because I used hotels.com, I can't get my money back because hotels.com used their credit card. A bad experience with the hotel AND with hotels.com.

Location was great. Checking in was a nightmare going through the app Half of the information was not in system. Clerk had hard time finding info and didn’t seem to wanna help.

Everything we expected and more. The staff has been wonderful.

They don’t refund anything if you have to check out early and not stay the entire nights originally booked even when you told them in advance that you would check out early

We loved the service! We had a little hiccup with the coffee maker but they were on it replacing it immediately!! Very kind, comfortable, clean, and soooo close to the beach, church we found, Wal-Mart, shops, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay there. Pillows were a bit flat for us but other than that experience was awesome!! 😀

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Our first room had multiple cockroaches crawling away from the front door when we opened it. Went to tell the front desk, the assistant GM was very unconcerned. We had to ask for another room. The second room was worse. There was no water in the toilet, it couldn't even flush. Mold on the back of the door and inside the plastic pocket that holds promotion information on it. There were multiple large dark stains on the carpet in the room, and more bugs in the bathroom. What was worst of all was the customer service the assistant GM had during it all. When we brought our stuff back downstairs, I had to wait at the front desk for 4 minutes within 2 feet of the guy while he ignored me and decided to look busy doing something. Finally had him acknowledge me and then tell me he couldn't cancel. Then it was that he could only cancel the second night but had to pay for one of the nights. Absolutely not. We had to fight to get him to cancel it and not once during this ordeal did he at all apologize for any inconvenience or acknowledge any of the issues we had in those rooms. We're currently working to get our money back. The only positive we had from here was being taken care of by Paul (not the AGM, but was the other staff when we checked in), he was great and so friendly. We appreciated Paul a lot.

Was close to the beach and the inner town area. Clean, smelled nice and workers were nice.

Great customer service, good breakfast and perfect location!

Location was convenient to the beach. Hotel was off the parkway and away from any traffic and noise. Staff was ok but usually no one was behind desk the many times we came through. Room was good and as advertised. Overall pleased with stay.

A nice quiet stay for the price, especially for the area. The floors in our room left our feet and socks black, but that is my only complaint. Staff was very friendly. Easy access to restaurants and shopping and close to the beach.

Had to go around the back road or make a u turn down another road to get to hotel. It was quitte a distance from beach. It had no hot tub with pool. The breakfast was not the best compared to other hotels we’ve stayed . Staff were wonderful Hotel was clean beds were very comfortable

The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. My only complaint was walls are thin and you could hear people talking and tv on late at night. However I would definitely stay there again. Great location with beach about 5 minute drive away

The photos on Expedia were very misleading! The room that I booked was not what I received. The place is in need of some serious upgrading, maintenance, and repairs. I am serious shocked that Choice Hotels has not done anything about this. It shines a bad light on their entire chain. Most hotels have coffee in the lobby around the clock. We went down in the morning and there was nothing. The "breakfast" was nill to none so we had to go find some place to have breakfast. Overall it was an extremely disappointing start to our vacation.

It was basic. The fridge barely worked but it was ok the breakfast is a joke. They cook everything in the microwave and nothings ever ready. But if u want badic everything its fine

Their breakfast was really good as was their coffee as well. The staff was really nice and attentive. The cleaning staff was excellent. Loved the pool. Very affordable and we would definitely stay there again next year. Overall would recommend to anyone.

The room was clean and comfortable. The upgrades were nice my bed was a little squeaky my wife’s were very quiet. The hotel was very quiet all most all of the time. The TV service could have been better. I couldn’t find a lot of my favorite show I usually watch when we are at your Hotel. The breakfast bar is just so so. If you didn’t get down right at 6:00 your choices were limited. Overall it was a very nice stay. The guy that checked us in was very nice and helpful. Very close to the Gulf State Park. Spent a lot of time there. We would stay there again.
