Sand on the floors in the room like it wasn't cleaned well after the guest before me. one of the elevators broken so it always took long to go up or down. that should have been a priority to fix it since its busy season. water coming in under the window seal in the room. we had to use the towels to clean it and request more towels for us to use.

Nice hotel just off the beach on the main road. Loved the swimming pool on the third floor overlooking the road, made for a lovely evening sitting area to watch people in traffic go by. Across the street from there was a Bahama Bob’s which offers a lovely happy hour and good food

Shower handle was broken, the shower head coming out of the wall had no cover, The hallways smell like urine which came into the room, The pool water was green, some of the outdoor furniture was broken. The floor in the room were all tile and very slick. The mattress covers had stains. We will not stay there again

No one at the counter at check in, waited 15 minutes while another employee just sat in the lobby. I had to ask him to get someone after I called the hotel number and it rang for 5 minutes with no answer. Pool was gross, I didn’t even want to look at it. Most all of the lounge chairs and chairs were broken or bent. Garbage everywhere.

I like that Beachside resort is across the street from Bahama Bob’s and the beach, plus near Sunliner Diner and various shops. I enjoy the retro aesthetic of the hotel and the rooftop pool but there were many minor maintenance failures and no towel’s available in the poolside towel rack.

The hotel was old, so you could see the age on it. Our room was nice, but did have a few issues. Main issue I had was the window. The window was at the walkway that everyone walked by. I was unable to close the curtains so people could look into our room. We have to figure out something to put over the window. There were no phone in the room, so you could not call the desk. The next morning I went down and reported it to the clerk. I was never fixed. The hotel advertised a bar and restaurant, both were closed.

I was there for the pool and it was Amazing! It was big enough for everyone. Enjoyed the quietness between 10 pm and 7 am. Older hotel, so not spotless but Lysol wipes worked. Great views. Fresh coffee and ice in the lobby.

It took drying a normal load of clothes 3 dry cycles. Laundry facilities need updated, 4th floor ice machine was broken. Full overflowing dumpster with several bags of trash around the property

On the last day while double checking the room for any personal belongings I pulled the sheet back to find the mattress covered in mold!! I could tell that the hotel was undergoing renovations which the building as well as the room were in great shape given the work.

The location was great! Room was decent but the bathroom was nasty and the pool was disgusting. After housekeeping finished, our room smelled like weed! I complained to the front desk but all they said was sorry. We checked out early and booked elsewhere.

For the price i dudnt expect luxury but i dis expect clean! The entire place is dirty! The outside was dirty the elevator was disgusting and nkt cleaned once while we were there. Our room was dirty and falling apart. The beds were uncomfortable and the room smelled awful like cheap cleaning prosucts that i know hadnt been used. I dont know how rhos place passes an inspection. The ceilings are peeling off holes woth sharp edges in the tile. No drain cover in the sink water wouldnt drain in the tub. People in the parking lot climbing on top of a car. Someone knocking on our door at 2 am. Very trashy place. I was 8 hours from home and had no choice but to stay for 2 night's and found something else. Do not waste your money staying here!!

Great location with a nice pool for the kids. Two of the three beds were comfortable, but one mattress was terribly worn out. The shower area needs a few corner shelves or some place to put a bar of soap or bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

Best deal right at the beach. It’s not super fancy but it was really clean. The tv needed to be replaced due to double picture a the door handle/lock to the room was coming off the door but it could still be locked from the inside. I did tell the front d ask and she said it would get attention asap. My family will def be staying again in the near future.

It was a good location but the room was definitely sated. Stains on the creeping, deadbolt on door didn’t work, remote to tv didn’t work, ac made rattling sound, we were right by the pool so you could hear kids screaming till 10:00. But it was cheap and a short walk to the beach so it is what it is. Would prob stay again if I was on a budget but get a room away from pool and check everything before I unpack.

The place was not what I expected from a 'Beachside resort'. It is more like a Motel 6 across a busy street from the beach. The room was clean, but the place is run-down. The toilet seat was about to fall off, the window shade was stuck, and the only ice machine was in the lobby. Maybe a decent place for a quick overnight, but nothing I'd stay in for a week's vacation near thee beach.

Front desk reps were always friendly and professional. Stopped in daily to say good morning to Penny. Pool towels were requested late afternoons which were never a problem to get. Pool had a good bit of sand on the floor but its expected due to the beach is across the street. Breakfast was beyond what I expected for quick grab & go items. Staff provided great recommendations for dining & activities other than the beach. My family & I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property overall was a good place to stay. Last 2 days had to have key reactivated and tv went off and took them 4 hrs to come fix a 5 minute fix. The lady on duty was rude and hateful about our problem. She was on duty Wednesday afternoon

This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and the location is great. Bahama Bob’s across the street is an awesome seafood restaurant! Only problem we had was the air conditioner rattled a bit but for the money this place is awesome!!

I had requested a room on an upper level and on check in was told we had 112, on the ground floor. When questioned about it, the check in person, grabbed the keys away and gave room 302 instead. The room turned out to be on the same level as the swimming pool, so it was okay. She just wasn’t very personable. She offered no instructions as far as amenities available like coffee, pool hours, directions to the beach, etc. The beach was across a street just a short distance away.

Our week long stay was great! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend. And we will be staying here again

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here and the past 2 times have been good, but after this last stay we probably won’t be back. We were laying in bed relaxing and 2 maintenance men unlocked the door and came into our room….and instead of apologizing and leaving, they STAYED and kept fixing the cable!! After 5 minutes or so, we decided to leave and when we came back probably an hour or so later the men were gone but they left our door open and all of our belongings were inside. The bath towel had a glob of hair stuck to it, there was a blood stain on one of the pillow cases, and there were plastic wrappers on the bed (maybe from the maintenance men?). Just such a weird experience this time and not very enjoyable. Will try somewhere new next time we are back in town which is unfortunate because the beds are comfy, the location is great, and the price is very fair. Also, the rooms aren’t completely terrible but they are pretty old and dirty. Lots of dirt on the baseboards and in the corners, cracking ceilings, holes in the walls, etc.

For the most part it was a good experience. BUT, the free breakfast was still in COVID conditions and didn't show "Resort" as the name applies. It was all packaged goods, packaged muffins, cereal, packaged juice (only orange and cran-grape) their actual dining area says Temporary Closed, staff only and looks like they have been using it as storage since COVID. The people there were nice but the "Resort Breakfast" was severely lacking and they need to get out of COVID and into the present. It was very disappointing. Will not come back until the dining room is up and running again. Having a family of 5. Juice fountain and waffle maker is a must, which from past experiences they had before COVID.

The room was right near the pool, so it was very loud with children and adults talking and several loud bangs on our door and walls on both sides of our room. No free breakfast as it indicated on the website when booking. It was one of the reasons we selected that location, along with advertising that it was beachside. It was not "beachside" really, because you have to cross the road and walk to the public access before being on the beach.

Very close to the beach and conveniently located. Nice little restaurant with basic breakfast, lunch, ice cream and soon to be bar. Comfy atmosphere. Building could use some updating but it was definitely worth it for the price.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Disappointed to find out they no longer serve continental breakfast. And that the drink and ice cream bar closes for after the summer season. Our room was very clean. The only thing to point out negatively. Was there wasn’t a fan in the restroom. And the shower curtain is in need of replacing. All in all we enjoyed our stay. And would love to make a return visit.
