Fine for a quick stop but wouldn’t stay here again. Staff/service was a positive, helpful and friendly; good breakfast. Property condition did not live up to what’s advertised. Rooms were average, common areas okay, but the pool was a letdown. Tiny and dirty; photos online show a hot tub too but it was tiled over much to my disappointment after 13 hours of driving.

The place felt very clean. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfy! Bathroom was large, the fold out couch was great for one kid but a little small for 2. The pool is indoors but was really cold and quite small. The breakfast was incredible!!

The motel was wonderful, room very nice, staff friendly. Beware though! The hot tub spa shown on the website is no longer there and the pool was uncomfortably cool to swim in without the spa to warm up in. Very disappointing.

The overall stay was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable to our liking. Customer service was great; everyone was very friendly and polite. Our only complaint was the air must have been broken in the hallways because it was hot, and there was also an odor. Thank goodness the air was working in both rooms we booked because we definitely wouldn’t have stayed otherwise. Complimentary breakfast was basic, nothing special about it.

Everyone is so friendly and inviting from check in, breakfast, cleaning, buying snacks to check out. The hotel is so clean you can smell it. It’s great. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Bathroom is large, updated, and clean with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries. Breakfast is great with sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, baked goods, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal with toppings, fruit, everything you could want. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurants close by. Plenty of parking. Didn’t have time to checkout the indoor pool but I’m sure the way the rest of the property was it’s great also. Definitely recommend.

Elevator didn’t work and we were had 6 bags to lug up to the third floor. Then we find out the washer and dryer is out of order as well. Staff wasn’t accommodating at all even after speaking with the manager on duty!!

Check in was good. Room was a little bit small but worked well. Very quiet. This is one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed at. That's worth a lot to me. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Close to a variety of restaurants. Breakfast was four stars in my opinion. Quite a variety of food. Scrambled eggs, pork sausage and turkey sausage, oatmeal, fruit, muffins, waffles. The juice machine didn't work at first but that's because they hadn't turned it on. I tried getting some apple juice. They must have been out of that because I only got a couple ounces. So I went after the orange juice. Value for price paid. Five stars. Very comfortable bed, very quiet and economical.

The location was good & easy to get to for us. We had a two day event at Gardendale Baptist and although we are from Hoover, chose to stay overnight rather than drive back and forth. We had 3 rooms for 9 of us girls . The sofa bed could use an update but other than that accommodations were good .

Great place to stay! Nice size clean room well appointed. In a great location with plenty of gas, food shopping options. What I really liked was how nice and quiet this hotel is, and the beds are comfortable. So I was well rested which is my main interest in a hotel when traveling. Highly recommend.

We booked a room with a handicap walk in shower early morning. Approximately 15 minutes before arrival at the motel at 5 pm we were notified the booked room was not available. When arriving we were told we could cancel. However we had driven for over 8 hours we were very tired and did not want to search for another motel. My wife had just had a mini stroke and spent two days in the hospital. We needed a walk in shower and high toilet. We opted to take a handicap room that did not have a walk in shower and was told it had a high toilet. After checking in we found the room did not have a high toilet and my wife was not able to take a shower or bath during our stay. To top it off, the room was located on the top floor and at the very far end of the hallway. My wife had difficulty walking making it an effort just to get to our room, Manager said the employee accepting our booking was unaware the room we request had already been booked. It took them over 8 hours to notify us of their mistake, So, we were very unhappy with the service we received at this motel,,,,

Everyone is so friendly and inviting from check in, breakfast, cleaning, buying snacks to check out. The hotel is so clean you can smell it. It’s great. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Bathroom is large, updated, and clean with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries. Breakfast is great with sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, baked goods, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal with toppings, fruit, everything you could want. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurants close by. Plenty of parking. Didn’t have time to checkout the indoor pool but I’m sure the way the rest of the property was it’s great also. Definitely recommend.

Unfriendly staff at check in and at breakfast. The hotel needs updated & does not look like the preview picture. We had 2 rooms: One of our rooms had a smell to it even though it was a non smoking room . The lobby & the gym smelled very musty, we were unable to use any apps on the tv, our shower had a crack in the side wall & felt as though the floor may give out when using the shower, toilet rocked when you set down, the pool had a film on the top of it & smelled so strong of chemicals I wouldn’t even let my children use it. Our phone did not work when the front desk called for a noise complaint that wasn’t for us as we were asleep, it rang but you couldn’t hold a conversation on it, nor could we call the front desk so my husband had to go down to see what was going on. The second room didn’t even look like it was actually ready for our reservation, it was dusty & there were no trash bags provided In any of the trash cans. Thankfully we were only here for 1 night!

Elevator didn’t work and we were had 6 bags to lug up to the third floor. Then we find out the washer and dryer is out of order as well. Staff wasn’t accommodating at all even after speaking with the manager on duty!!

The location was perfect. Right next door to a few restaurants and close to shopping center too! We did a little issue with noise during the 1st nights stay. The people upstairs were very noisy.

Great place to stay! Nice size clean room well appointed. In a great location with plenty of gas, food shopping options. What I really liked was how nice and quiet this hotel is, and the beds are comfortable. So I was well rested which is my main interest in a hotel when traveling. Highly recommend.

I rented here specifically for the hot tub, which they list as an amenity, and feature in their main picture. Beds were a little hard but not bad … breakfast was ok at best and was not refilled during the last hour, so if you weren’t early your choices were limited.

The smell was awful when you got off the second floor elevator. The coffee maker had water going everywhere even on my jewelry. When we got ready to use the iron it did not work. The breakfast on Sunday was less than desirable and the wait person started removing more than 30 minutes before time.

We’ve been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for the last four years. It’s in a good location. The people are usually friendly and the hotel is always clean. The woman who checked us in was exceptionally pleasant. I was a bit disappointed by the positioning of the fold out sofa. It was directly in front of the air conditioning vent. I wish there had been a heavier blanket for the sofa bed. Breakfast was not good. I never expect much from hotel breakfast, but the oatmeal was the best thing I found. Oh and the coffee was terrible! Please, please get a different kind of coffee!
