Disappointed for price paid. Two pillows on a king with absolutely terrible sheet quality. Arrived at 4. Surprised to find the beach bar closed, then got comfortable at the pool, for it to close at 7:30- when it stays light out until 9. A lot of people saved the chairs closest to the pool, so it would be nice to have service in the further up seating areas away from the pool. Breakfast had a lot of options, but the cooked items were terrible. A lot of sweets, but the children running around putting their hands on everything was gross. Had dinner in property, beautiful water side dining, but again disappointed in everything but dessert. We were upgraded to a suite the last night with a gorgeous huge patio and were told it was an over 1000 €, with the same terrible bedding

Beautiful and spacious room and balcony, the cave going to beach and pool awesome and unique, parking E27/day, but worth it. Unlike other reviews, we didn’t notice anything that needed updating. Room service on the balcony was lovely. The free shuttle bus into town center was so convenient. Staff friendly We love Taormina, and we loved this hotel!

The hotel is all about location - you’re paying for that and I think it’s not really worth the layout. The hotel itself is quite tired and the rooms need a good update and are pretty basic. The gym is old and small, no air con so got hot very quickly. The pool and beach are beautiful though.

Shuttle to Taormina was great, but often would get booked up. I spent way more on transportation during this trip. Hotel has taxis on hand, but a little pricey since it is not safe to walk on the roads (and considering you’re on a cliff).

The staff was very friendly and very helpful with helping us acquire taxis to and from the hotel, and from our restaurants and then return very personalized attention. Our room was very modern remodeled, upgraded the view from our balcony was spectacular the pool area. The grotto to the pool and to the beach was beyond belief.. The views for a late night or early drink before dinner with spectacular of the mountain the water. Additionally is the same view that you receive for breakfast every morning.

It’s a nice property, but it does feel like you’re getting charged for almost everything at a higher premium. Also, never heard of this before. They have an ironing room. They wouldn’t give us an iron. You have to go to the 3rd floor and iron in a room. You have to bring your close down there to iron. Also, when I got there I told the from desk I needed to arrange for a taxi to go home. I was told to wait until the day before I leave and order it from the from desk. I paid 130 euros when I get there. I go to the front desk the day before check out. Spoke with the clerk and he says I have to pay 170 EU. I asked why, they said because of the short notice. Which was the day before. Also, there is nothing around there you can walk to. In fact, we wanted to walk around but the clerk said too dangerous. You either need a car or take a taxi. It’s a beautiful property and it has a nice restaurant. For me it was kind of a pain to stay there.

We loved ending our trip to Sicily at Una Hotel Taormina! We were so lazy spending nearly every day lounging by the pool/sea. The staff was amazing. We only went to town once, but was easy to use the shuttle if you plan ahead. We spent one day at Mt Etna-not too far & worth it! Sadly, we did not do a boat ride due to weather-wasnt awful, but since we had already done a boat in Ortegia we watched the boats in the drizzle from under our umbrella by the sea :) We would stay there again! PS Bed was so comfortable & balcony view amazing! Room Decor was quaint, like staying Nonna’s house, old country Italian, but super clean! The other spaces were modernized.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2025 and would rate it 3 stars. The location is truly stunning, with a beautiful view, great pool, and direct access to the beach – the outdoor facilities are clearly the hotel’s strongest asset. All four dishes underwhelmed, but the paccheri was particularly bad – severely undercooked pasta in a tasteless, glue-like sauce. While the retro decor and basic breakfast could be overlooked thanks to the view and outdoor setting, the restaurant experience significantly lowered our overall impression. Our advice: enjoy the view, skip the dinner, and head into town for authentic and flavorful Sicilian food.

Let me say that we did have a great time staying at the hotel. The pool area is awesome and the staff is very nice. That being said the room is very dated. The shower set up was probably the most inconvenient shower I have ever encountered in my whole life Made absolutely no sense. The shuttle service has much to be desired very limited and always full. Only was able to get on the shuttle one time otherwise paid for taxis on a consistent basis. The restaurants are really not that good and extremely overpriced. Put that being said we still had a good time and would return but being aware that the shuttle is useless and the restaurant on the promises is not a good option. Again, the staff was wonderful and the room was kept extremely clean.

Hotellet er et nydelig sted, og vi tilbrakte alle dagene våre på stranden eller ved bassenget. Selve beliggenheten er helt nydelig, vi var veldig fornøyd med rommet vårt. Renslig og god service. Hyggelig personell. Et veldig godt tilbud med shuttlebuss fra hotellet til sentrum som vi brukte hver dag. Taxi er dyrt i Taormina. Helt ok frokost men fantastisk utsikt fra frokosten. Det som dro ned oppholdet var maten på hotellet. Det var for det første ekstremt dyrt! Vi er norske så vandt til å betale mye for mat, men dette var kanskje dobbelt så dyrt som hva vi er vandt til. Vi synes også at til prisen var maten smaksløs og kjedelig. Små porsjoner. Ved bassenget er det også mulig å bestille sandwich osv, men dette var også utrolig kjedelig og dyrt. Forventet mer for prisen vi betalte. Det er også ekstremt lytt på rommene, men dette var forventet pga litt eldre hotell, første nettene våknet vi av en vanlig samtale fra naboen. Heldigvis var det som regel veldig stille etter kl 23 slik at nattesøvnen ikke ble ødelagt.

We booked this hotel for the unique pool and it didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast every morning offered many choices and was tasty. But the decor throughout is VERY dated. I could overlook that, but it is also in desperate need of basic maintenance such as wall paint chipping, damaged baseboards for the price paid per night. We did not spend most of our time in our room/hotel so we enjoyed visiting the lovely area.

This property, with its direct access to the water is hard to beat. The shuttle service into town is great because the walk is too far and treacherous and would otherwise be €20 each way. The rooms are very spacious if not a little dated. Flooring appears to be new. The hotel kindly arranged us to be in the same room for the 4 nights as we had 2 separate bookings and didn’t charge us more when one night had been booked for a garden view room. Breakfast was good although some changes day to day might be nice and some cooked eggs besides the pre cooked scrambled and boiled eggs would be good. Some more salad options too. Gym needs to have windows closed and air con on as there was too little airflow. Restaurant by the pool is stunning especially the spaghetti vongole! Would happily stay again. Staff were very accomodating and lovely.

Travelers beware. I booked this hotel because the pictures looked amazing on the internet. The rooms are incredibly small & VERY OUTDATED! Bathrooms were an old ceramic, towels were very old & scratchy. The carpeting in the hallways were very old, outdated & worn out. The sofas outside of the “spa” had slip covers over them. The food selection at the restaurant & bar area was very limited. They served potato chips at the bar as soon as we sat down?! Come on?! You have to park your own car and get your own car in the garage. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Do NOT stay here! It was a total let down & disappointment!!!!

We had a sea view room and it was glorious. We didn’t want to leave! Shuttle to the town was very handy but we also walked around to Isolla Bella and caught the cable car up to the town for €5. Walk was about 10mins. Breakfast was fine but for the standard of the hotel thought there might have been more options including eggs cooked to order. We saw some people get them but believe it cost extra. If it didn’t then this wasn’t well publicised. The lift to the beach and pool area makes this place worthwhile alone. The water is glorious and the restaurant down there super delicious too!

Great location and amazing views! Our hotel room had a beautiful balcony with a view of Mt. Etna! The pool area was very nice and drinks and food can be ordered while relaxing or you can go to the bar! Stepping off the elevator and having the doors open to the gorgeous ocean view as you walk through the cave is always amazing! Truly an experience! All staff is friendly and helpful! The shuttles that take you back and forth to the town of Taormina are a great feature and many options of times! Just make sure to reserve early AM your spots!

Oh god. I'm going to sound like a parrot because this seems to be the main issue of the hotel. IT. IS. OLD. And when you're paying $800 a night for this hotel, it doesn't seem reasonable. If it was $500 a night, I don't think I'd be saying this but it's hard to justify when it's that much. The hotel's saving grace is its location and the pool/beach area. Do yourselves a favor and upgrate the property!

The views, the pool, the beach, and the balcony were wonderful. Our bathroom had some water issues, but the room was comfortable and spacious. We had the most relaxing time on the sun loungers with the most amazing scenic view. And a free coach up into town for dinner and back.

The hotel was in an amazing location with fantastic scenery. the general service was good The only criticism I have is the restaurants serve too similar food, not enough variation. And the service on the rooftop restaurant (Sevevo ?) during the 3 times I was there was pretty poor.

The beach areas are fabulous. The staff at reception and the beach bar are excellent. The bar manager not so good. We had a very bad meal at the bar area. The wait was long and the food was cold. Didn’t pay for the food but the manager was not the most pleasant to deal with. The room was a good size but the shower not the best and you have to remember to press the flusher twice or it will stay flushing which is noisey. Breakfast was ok but limited choice on hot stuff ( which was actually luke warm at best) Drinks are very expensive

Heaven on earth! The property was well maintained. Stunning views. The Staff was very professional and kind. Gym staff was excellent. Everything was 5- Star, but I wish they had Peloton equipment. UNACapotaormina was an absolute dream. The staff was so friendly, ready to help and accommodate you at any moment. My husband and I went there to get married and the beauty salon offered me a free 25 minute massage prior to doing my hair which was incredible. Their hair stylist Flora from Gardini Naxos gave me my dream hair style. Overall, service and friendliness would make it so that id return again.

The hotel sits right on the water! As you walk into the hotel and your room, you might be a little disappointed in how dated the hotel is. However, it doesn’t disappoint! The location, the views, the l pool, and the access to the ocean are incredible! My frown became and instant smile. In the peak season, this place must be jammed packed with tourists! Breakfast has a nice spread and I was satisfied. Parking was extra per day. However, the free shuttle bus makes up for it. You don’t want to drive around looking for parking in the center of town and deal with the roads and busses. Make sure you know exactly when you want to head back to the hotel. If you’re before you’re scheduled pickup time and there’s no seats, you’re not getting on the bus! 6 to 8 hours in plenty to do see and eat! If you have a free half day, drive to Savoca if you’re a can of The Godfather. It’s a cute hillside town where it was partially filmed. Go early in the morning! You will thank me! Haha. The drive is not straightforward but it’s Sicily and it’s worth it! Overall, I’d stay at the hotel again! The staff was friendly and helpful. The upgraded room with and ocean and Mount Etna view was much appreciated!

Beautiful location for a romantic stay. Amazing infinity pool carved out of the rocks and great restaurant. Pool area used in The White Lotus. Not close to the center of town, you will need to drive or take a taxi. Not much to do in the immediate hotel area, but the property is just amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay! The beach view was beautiful, and having the pool on-site made it extra convenient. The staff were wonderful and very attentive to details. The only downside is that it’s not very easy to walk into town since the streets are tricky, but the free shuttle back and forth makes up for it.

Gorgeous setting, the seaside views were amazing. Property is very nice and well maintained. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Driving and parking in the Taromina area is very stressful, avoid renting a car if possible.

The best part of this hotel is the property. The private beach, the pool and views. The breakfast that is included is excellent and the restaurant is refined. The hotel and furnishings are a bit dated but the hotel is clean and well maintained. Only thing that’s a negative is that you really can’t walk to anything. You need to drive or take a shuttle to go anywhere.

Overall the hotel is beautiful with amazing views. The service is wondeful but the room can use somr sprucing up. Our toilet doesn't flush well. The restaurant onsite still charges cover for captive guests. The hotel is far from town and needs shuttle access which books up fast so advanced reservation is needed. The food is terrible onsite and overpriced.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful room over looking the sea with a walk out patio. The pool area and beach were beautiful. The view from this hotel was spectacular. We could see Mt Etna. The breakfast that was included was outstanding and the best we have ever had at a hotel. Shuttle service was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this resort. Hoping to come back. Outstanding!!!!

The beach areas are fabulous. The staff at reception and the beach bar are excellent. The bar manager not so good. We had a very bad meal at the bar area. The wait was long and the food was cold. Didn’t pay for the food but the manager was not the most pleasant to deal with. The room was a good size but the shower not the best and you have to remember to press the flusher twice or it will stay flushing which is noisey. Breakfast was ok but limited choice on hot stuff ( which was actually luke warm at best) Drinks are very expensive

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2025 and would rate it 3 stars. The location is truly stunning, with a beautiful view, great pool, and direct access to the beach – the outdoor facilities are clearly the hotel’s strongest asset. However, the interior feels stuck in the 1980s and is far from modern. Our room had visible signs of mold and poor air quality, which seriously affected our overall comfort. On our last evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant Le Grand Bleu, hoping for a memorable meal after a week of amazing Sicilian cuisine. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Despite the high prices, the food was simple, uninspired, and poorly prepared. All four dishes underwhelmed, but the paccheri was particularly bad – severely undercooked pasta in a tasteless, glue-like sauce. While the retro decor and basic breakfast could be overlooked thanks to the view and outdoor setting, the restaurant experience significantly lowered our overall impression. Our advice: enjoy the view, skip the dinner, and head into town for authentic and flavorful Sicilian food.

The free breakfast is amazing. The views oh my!!!! The beach is sweet and the pool nice. Free shuttle services was a game changer too. Anything we needed we got it. Fresh orange juice and champagne in the morning with a coffee machine that was holy cow. Friendly folks in top of everything!!!!

Excellent location if you look for proximity to the water. Busy but nice pool . Very good service. Food was decent . Property quite outdated . Overall not a great value for the money at Almost 900 US Dollars per night but of course I have no point of comparison with other hotels in the Taormina
