Great stay in every way , character and comfort and lovely spa

We had a wonderful stay at Fawsley , the room was comfortable and very clean The spa was lovely particularly enjoyed the Himalayan salt sauna Unfortunately the jacuzzi broke down so only had one evening session during our visit The atmosphere of this beautifully renovated historic building made the stay perfect The food was excellent and every member of staff were so welcoming friendly helpful

This is an excelllent hotel - beautiful buildings and surroundings, the spa is great, and the staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful building set in a wonderful location. Friendly staff that were always willing to help. Fantastic evening meal with the fillet steak being melt in the mouth delicious. Spa facilities were exactly what was needed on a relaxing days break. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff are great and super helpful, the food was excellent, the fresh mint gathered by the friendly Barman for my wife’s mohito was a great touch, thank you. Rooms are perfectly fine although could do with a little updating. Grounds and surrounding area very pretty and quiet. My wife used the spa and would stay again just for that, pool good outdoor jacuzzi nice and the cafe and staff lovely.

A lovely hotel with great spa facilities and fantastic breakfast

Beautiful hotel, clean room, pleasant and helpful staff and spa area was lovely and relaxing as always.

The hotel is surrounded by rolling fields and lakes, in a lovely rural location. Driving along the country lane and going through the hotel's gates is a great way to arrive. However, unfortunately, we found the hotel experience very underwhelming. We paid extra for a superior feature room, but it was not money well spent. The room was a good size but lacked any character and felt very soulless with white walls, old-fashioned carpets and dark traditional furniture. Although, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The service was also below par. While the staff were friendly, there is a distinct lack of training and experience. Everything took a long time and when it did arrive was not always correct or served unprofessionally, such as coffee coming cold, wrong and spilt over the sides of the cup. The food at dinner was OK but overpriced. The hot breakfast food was good, but the cold continental was quite depressing in a dark room with lots of packaged goods and a lack of freshness. The spa is the main attraction and is well-equipped, and my wife had 2 very good treatments. However, it is let down by tidiness with used towels and empty glasses left out. It is also expensive - £3 for a cereal bar! Generally, I think the hotel needs to focus on the basics of providing good service and standards to justify the price. There were multiple occasions this was lacking - uneven tables, drinks not coming, spa till not working, no umbrellas, rubbish under sofas.

It’s beautiful! The room was spacious and the bed was big! Our only negative was our bathtub was dirty, which was a disappointment.

I had a very nice time here as did my dog. The room I was in had a broken TV and I had to find the faults and have maintenance come and replace it. I felt like I was still at work, ie the property management I do. Other than that it was a great stay.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing 24 hours at Fawsley Hall. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is kept beautifully. We particularly enjoyed the tasting menu and the cooked breakfast - everything we ate was perfect.

This is a beautifully adapted Tudor Manor House into a first-rate hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful to view and the private chapel is an added delight to visit. Staff were helpful and the food was very good both for breakfast and dinner. I was disappointed that I could not get wifi in my bedroom which was a problem as I had work to complete in the evening. I managed well once downstairs in the Tudor Hall. I knew there was no lift but the second floor required four flights of stairs, a lot more than expected. My bathroom would have benefitted from an anti-slip mat under the shower in the bath and the taps were difficult to operate leaving the shower dripping. Calling reception was not answered many times that I tried. Overall I wanted to rate this hotel excellent because I enjoyed visiting such a splendid place and received great service from the staff, but the experience was a little spoilt by these problems.

Spacious and clean room, very clean

If your after a picturesque, peaceful break away with magnificent food and beverages look no further, every possible moment was made super special for us from arrival to departure. The feature room 'William Cecil' we stayed in was phenomenal. We will definitely be visiting again soon! This in my opinion should be a 5☆ rated hotel and should be uprated immediately! We were not happy with the room as wasn’t as per photos shown on website , booked a feature room and received no feature room ! A basic modern room that didn’t have anything to do with the property shown in pictures . A mixture of furniture and decor that were not matching. It was our birthday and messaged in advanced to ensure will get the right room …also no attention to detail , like a birthday card or chocolate considering communicated the special event ! Also we asked for turn down service at 8 pm and that was missed .the spa we enjoyed although we were asked to leave at 8.20 , didn’t realise it closed at 8.30 . Breakfast was served 7.30 -10.30 but at 9.45 there were very few leftovers in the buffet …the full English we ordered was very nice , although everything seem to take so long … we were never asked how our stay was so had no opportunity to address our disappointment . Beautiful estate with some attention to detail and quicker services would be unforgettable .

Check in had to be later than they said, the tv system did not work correctly, they should pay for cable for the hotel vs just a basic free view, considering that people are paying v high prices to stay here and breakfast not served on time and missing items. Nice front desk staff and bed very comfortable. Nice historic features. The great hall is amazing.

Absolutely stunning venue, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. Staff are extremely friendly and we felt welcome throughout our entire stay. Definitely worth popping by the spa even if its to soak in the outdoor jacuzzi in the evening for a short dip. Afternoon tea im the Great Hall is a must, its simply too stunning a room not to! We were able to check-in a little earlier because my husband was a little under the weather when we arrived, and they offered to take some toast up for him which was a lovely thought! Sadly the toast never materialised, but thats ok! Although bizarrely we were also offered toast at breakfast the following morning that also didn't appear. Regardless of the Great Toast Conspiracy, we would no doubt recommend this hotel experience to anyone else looking for a fancy place to stay!

The facility is beautiful, the food delish, the grounds lovely, but the most outstanding part of the stay is the fantastic staff. Thanks to them for creating such a warm and friendly get-away.

Amazing stay. Service was one of the best we have ever received along with special added touches, like cocktails in the room and a goody bag upon departure. Breakfast and dinner in the cedar restaurant were top quality with fantastic choice and ambience. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.
