The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the leisure facilities which are well run. We especially liked the restaurant due to great staff, especially Joy! The bar was great too, lovely wine and a brilliant singer as an extra treat on Saturday night.

Staff were very helpful, cleanliness was good and beds were extremely comfortable. The restaurant service was slow but the food was excellent. Portion sizes on the small side, but quality of a very high standard. We were next to 2 rooms of party girls who were talking very loudly, slamming doors etc in to the small hours. There was also a birthday party with drum beats heard loudly in the room until midnight. The pool was very busy with children's swimming lessons, but the hot tubs were amazing - a pity that there was an additional charge to use them.

It was a lovely hotel to stay at. Quiet in the evenings and far enough from the city but close enough as well. Staff were lovely. Food was great. Breakfast was a combo of cooked full irish and continental. The room was a bit stuffy and dated and super hot till we found a way to turn off the heating. The pool and sauna and hot tub was lovely the hot tub was a 15 pound charge per person. And it was outside which was absolutely lovely. It might be an idea to say there is a charge for the hot tub on your description of the hotel. But it was a lovely stay despite the room being stuffy and dated.

Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Loads of parking available, easy access to roads and a great area. Rooms are reasonable, got a good nights sleep. Dinner is ok in the restraunt. Good selection for breakfast too.

2 adults 3 children stayed for one night for the Halloween celebrations in Derry. Location was excellent, 10min drive from the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre. Upon arrival (we arrived early) our room wasnt ready but we were allowed to use the pool and facilities which was brilliant for the kids. Swim done, our room was ready and we were allowed to check-in 2 hours early. Superb. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel and more than helpful. We dined in the hotel that evening, food was grand and service was excellent. Next morning, breakfast was basic but very tasty and as much as you wanted to set you up for the day. Pros - staff, cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds Cons - hotel is slightly dated & the water in the pool was a tad cold I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much, it was only for one night but everything was to our satisfaction. The pool was great, a little cooler than usual pools but I did not mind that. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. One suggestion, possibly a second bin for recycling in the room.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 18 month old daughter. Lovely hotel, pool was great. We thought breakfast was goid value and plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant one nighy and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful especially the barman who was so friendly and welcoming. A great stay!

We had a lovely time. Our bedroom was really spacious with a really comfortable bed. The shower room again was very spacious, clean and modern. The food was delicious at breakfast and dinner with a good choice. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved the pool and spa.

It was rather noisy though because people chat loudly in the hall late in the evening and doors slam because the doors are heavy. At breakfast, one greeter, a senior staff member was rather gruff. Nobody was around we entered the restaurant. We Waited and then we seated ourselves. I think she was annoyed. The other servers though were quite pleasant.

Room was ok would have expected it to be slightly better and larger for the price. TV was really small and reception was poor on a lot of channels. Bath/shower was really difficult to get in and out of due to the really small bathroom. Plenty of products provided though. Room was spotlessly clean. The receptionist on duty was excellent very welcoming. Breakfast was extremely expensive for the price with little choice and we were seated right by an open door when it was very breezy outside. This is a lovely hotel! Check in was easy - the receptionists (Emma and Emily) were polite and knowledgeable. Our room was fabulous! Two super king sized beds. So comfortable. Everything was very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottles of water in the room.

It's a best Western so by that standard it was ok. Huge issue for us is no AC. The room was extremely hot with no airflow. Understanding that most of Europe doesn't have or heavily use AC but still an issue

At least the third time we have stayed here, though it must be 7 or 8 year’s since our last visit. Friday afternoon/evening in the reception area very busy with an event that had been rearranged from the previous weekend. Restaurant very busy, but calm and very competent service. Friday evening noise in the corridor where our room was situated, was bordering on the extreme, Saturday evening, the complete opposite. Restaurant food good value and reasonable menu. Breakfast was tasty and again well worth it. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we didn’t even mention the swimming pool or spa!!!

The breakfast was ok. There seemed to be only one person serving. We were not given the option when I asked about breakfast other than was out. I over heard the male server saying to another couple there were fresh omelettes to order and porridge. Both these my kids would have preferred to a fry.

It was a lovely hotel to stay at. Quiet in the evenings and far enough from the city but close enough as well. Staff were lovely. Food was great. Breakfast was a combo of cooked full irish and continental. The room was a bit stuffy and dated and super hot till we found a way to turn off the heating. The pool and sauna and hot tub was lovely the hot tub was a 15 pound charge per person. And it was outside which was absolutely lovely. It might be an idea to say there is a charge for the hot tub on your description of the hotel. But it was a lovely stay despite the room being stuffy and dated.

2 adults 3 children stayed for one night for the Halloween celebrations in Derry. Location was excellent, 10min drive from the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre. Upon arrival (we arrived early) our room wasnt ready but we were allowed to use the pool and facilities which was brilliant for the kids. Swim done, our room was ready and we were allowed to check-in 2 hours early. Superb. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel and more than helpful. We dined in the hotel that evening, food was grand and service was excellent. Next morning, breakfast was basic but very tasty and as much as you wanted to set you up for the day. Pros - staff, cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds Cons - hotel is slightly dated & the water in the pool was a tad cold I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. The card system to get in the rooms needs updating, every day my card would lock me out of my room, which is time consuming. Good food in the restaurant too!

Room was ok would have expected it to be slightly better and larger for the price. TV was really small and reception was poor on a lot of channels. Bath/shower was really difficult to get in and out of due to the really small bathroom. Plenty of products provided though. Room was spotlessly clean. The receptionist on duty was excellent very welcoming. Breakfast was extremely expensive for the price with little choice and we were seated right by an open door when it was very breezy outside. Overall it ok but pricey. Not sure it deserves a 4 star. More like a 3.

The breakfast was ok. There seemed to be only one person serving. We were not given the option when I asked about breakfast other than was out. I over heard the male server saying to another couple there were fresh omelettes to order and porridge. Both these my kids would have preferred to a fry.

We stayed for 2 nights with our 18 month old daughter. Lovely hotel, pool was great. We thought breakfast was goid value and plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant one nighy and the food was delicious. The staff were helpful especially the barman who was so friendly and welcoming. A great stay!

At least the third time we have stayed here, though it must be 7 or 8 year’s since our last visit. Friday afternoon/evening in the reception area very busy with an event that had been rearranged from the previous weekend. Restaurant very busy, but calm and very competent service. Friday evening noise in the corridor where our room was situated, was bordering on the extreme, Saturday evening, the complete opposite. Restaurant food good value and reasonable menu. Breakfast was tasty and again well worth it. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we didn’t even mention the swimming pool or spa!!!

We arrived in for a wedding at a different venue quite early and wanted to see if we could just leave our bags with reception. Instead of this, the front of house team found us a room that was already ready, and got us checked in well before we expected that we could do so. This gave us plenty of opportunity to freshen up before needing to turn around. Later, the front of house team were also able to book us a taxi. Unfortunately it was very delayed in arriving, meaning that we would be late to the wedding, but one of the staff had ordered a taxi that had turned up for them, and offered us to take it so we could get there sooner. The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating during our stay, and they are a credit to the Hotel. Thank you for making our stay as comfortable as you all possibly could!

Since we stayed last year there has been a renovation of the reception areas. The carpet, furniture and atmosphere is very much improved. The pool areas could do with a revamp. There is a lot of black mould around the walls and it would be nice for the jacuzzi areas to be useable to residents within the stay. The family rooms are well equipped with a fantastic feel to the decor. The showers are brilliant power showers and the cleaning staff are just amazing! Overall, a lovely stay - a nice change to the breakfast being serviced to order. A very enjoyable stay and hope to visit again very soon.
