We had an absolutely incredible time staying at the beautiful Poderi Arcangelo family run farm and vineyard. The views were breathtaking and the family could not have been more kind and welcoming which made our stay feel like a home away from home. We stayed in the main house and enjoyed a home made dinner with them which was a delicious 4 course meal paired with the amazing wine they make on site from their vineyard. The infinity pool overlooked beautiful Tuscan vineyards which you could see for miles. It was truly a place we’ll never forget and would certainly return to in the future :). Grazie to the wonderful people at Poderi Arcangelo, you’ve created a true paradise!

Our stay at Poderi Arcangelo in the rolling hills of San Gimignano was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the views were the kind that stop you in your tracks – especially at sunset when the Tuscan hills glow gold. The food was exceptional every day, with authentic local flavours that made each meal a highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming and always tried their best to help, adding to the charm of the place. The location is perfect for exploring nearby treasures such as San Gimignano itself, Certaldo, and Volterra. One thing to note – a hire car is essential. Public transport is virtually non-existent here; we couldn’t get a bus at all and taxis, while available, were scarce and very expensive – we spent €400 on just three journeys. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, though it would have been helpful to know in advance. Also, while the property is beautiful, there’s no real indoor bar area for relaxing before or after dinner. There is an outdoor bar, but it only opens on weekends and closes at 18:00, so an early evening drink isn’t always possible. Despite this, we had seven days of bliss and would return in a heartbeat – next time with a hire car, ready to explore every corner of this stunning part of Tuscany.

The staff was excellent. Melania, Irene and the kitchen staff were excellent. There aren’t too many amenities. The pool was not in operation. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower was tight. The rest of the room was good. There aren’t many taxis in the Tuscany area. The facility Will recommend a driver named Urbino. Urbino will charge a lot (50 euros for a 8 minute drive)

We stayed at Poderi Arcangelo with our two teenage daughters. We all loved our stay so much. The pool was beautiful, food and wine were delicious, and the staff were so helpful and lovely. We did a cooking class which was a highlight. We also ate at the restaurant 2 times and loved it. Thank you Poderi Arcangelo! We left feeling relaxed and happy. Give Zoe a cuddle from all of us!

We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und wir waren im 500 m abseits gelegenen Haus untergebracht. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden und grundsätzlich ordentlich – wenn auch etwas gründlicher hätte geputzt werden können. Das Frühstück war wirklich lecker, ebenso das Abendessen. Preislich ist alles absolut in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr freundlichen Empfang. Beim Service im Restaurant gibt es allerdings noch Luft nach oben: Die Getränke haben recht lange auf sich warten lassen, und es wurde nicht oft nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay at Poderi Arcangelo. Full of rustic charm and perfectly located in the middle of rolling Tuscan hills and near to San Gimignano, Certaldo & Volterra which are all well worth a visit. Staff very helpful and friendly, food lovely, cleanliness was good. Ample parking. We stayed in the main house in a family room which was very spacious. Pool area is perfect for admiring the amazing views. Would stay again.

Helt unikt beliggende vingård med den mest fortryllende udsigt over vinmarker og olivenlunde. ALT står flot og rent og af høj kvalitet. Stedets personale er hjælpsomme og søde. Vi spiste 2 gange af den traditionelle toscanske middag. 2.gang var decideret ringe, man føler sig overset og nedgjort som gæst, personalet haster retterne igennem og kaster nærmest faddene efter gæsterne. Alt er perfekt! Maden er god:-) men oplevelsen dør på serveringen.

We booked an apartment, but we’re very surprised that no cleaning products or tea towel were supplied. The rooms were spacious. No ironing board or iron suppled. No toaster or kettle supplied in kitchenette. Towels were not replaced in the 5 nights we stayed. Wi fi band width was very poor.

Scenery was beautiful, very nice Pool but no towels for pool. Staff some were extremely nice and helpful others not so helpful breakfast and dinners were good. Rooms could use some updates. Bathroom had a sewer smell no hooks, no towel holder or toilet paper holder, shower very small. We stayed in the house below and there is no way to contact main office in case of an emergency they do not answer the phone or emails.

Exceptional views from this property. The room was for 4. It had a rustic farm house vibe. Unfortunately there was mold in the bathroom and a nest of spiders in the beams above the bed (which my husband was happy to sleep under - so we ignored). There is no noise insulation between floors and you can hear other guests above you, but everyone was respectful and noise minimal. The spare blankets in the cupboard needed a wash and were unusable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable. The infinity pool was great and generally quiet creating a relaxing atmosphere. You need a car if you stay in one of the annexes otherwise you would have to walk up a hill. We had access to a balcony and a common area. The kitchen was accessible but you are not allowed to use unless you book an apartment.) Breakfast was very good and the terrace is amazing. We only had interaction with two staff members. One was lovely, friendly and helpful. The other was the complete opposite, which ruined some of the shine. Overall lovely place to stay, fantastic grounds and we will definitely try and visit again!

Very cute farm house vibes. Air conditioning was plenty and with the pool right outside our apartment it was easy to stay cool. The view from the infinity pool was to die for. Classical rolling hills showing off the infinite number of olive trees and grape vines for as far as the eye can see. Exactly what you you dreamed of Tuscany. Zoe (the farm dog) does a great job greeting all the guest and during meals making sure that any offerings to her are taken care of gently ;). Breakfast was good - offering all the basics you need to get your day started on the right food. For dinner be warned - you will not leave hungry. The food was good also! I would recommend doing one of the wine tours offered on location and to visit the grounds. The appartement was very generous in size and the view was just wow, however the bed was very hard offering little to no padding but aside from this everything else was great. We were in the lower annexe building in appartement 5. Aside from the beds not being that confortable I would recommend the stay to anyone wanting to visit the region. Staff were very friendly and welcoming :)

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Poderi in the countryside of Italy, and I must say that the experience was highly disappointing. The pictures on the hotel's website were a far cry from the reality of the room. Upon arrival, I was initially charmed with the exterior that gave off the promise of a tranquil and picturesque stay in the Italian countryside. However, the room I was given did not match the idyllic image that the hotel's website had painted. The room was small, no character, outdated, and lacked any semblance of charm that I had expected. The furniture appeared to be from a bygone era and desperately needed an upgrade. The bed was uncomfortable, with a lumpy mattress and scratchy bedding. It was just a ROOM and that's it. The bathroom was another disappointment. It was cramped, and the fixtures were in dire need of repair. The shower was barely functional, with inconsistent water pressure and temperature. It was a challenge to take a comfortable shower after a long day of exploring the countryside. The shower was a death trap. With the slippery green glass like tile that transitions to a shower water pan you could easily fall or slip with just a little bit of soap. If you plan on the WIFI good luck, it was nonexistent in my room until I went outside. Furthermore, the view from my room was eh ok. I had a view of a dilapidated outbuilding and a parking lot.

Bodde i annex, som var 300 m fra hovedhuset. Flott basseng og uteområde. Men annex lå ned en bratt bakke fra hovedhus, bil eller el sykler er et must. Vi hadde et eget soverom i en leilighet. Flott med ekstra plass når ingen andre hadde det andre soverommet, noe trangt når noen var der. God italiensk frokost. Flott utsikt fra spisesalen.

We booked an apartment, but we’re very surprised that no cleaning products or tea towel were supplied. The rooms were spacious. No ironing board or iron suppled. No toaster or kettle supplied in kitchenette. Towels were not replaced in the 5 nights we stayed. Wi fi band width was very poor.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk. Dejlig pool og sødt personale. Dog var vores værelse meget slidt, lille og vi havde oprindelig booket et værelse i hotellets anneksbygning, hvorfor det undrede os at vi endte med et loftsværelse i hovedbygningen. Området tiltalte os ikke super meget, ikke meget at se hvis ikke man skal ud på en lang køretur.

Exceptional views from this property. The room was for 4. It had a rustic farm house vibe. Unfortunately there was mold in the bathroom and a nest of spiders in the beams above the bed (which my husband was happy to sleep under - so we ignored). There is no noise insulation between floors and you can hear other guests above you, but everyone was respectful and noise minimal. The spare blankets in the cupboard needed a wash and were unusable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable. The infinity pool was great and generally quiet creating a relaxing atmosphere. You need a car if you stay in one of the annexes otherwise you would have to walk up a hill. We had access to a balcony and a common area. The kitchen was accessible but you are not allowed to use unless you book an apartment.) Breakfast was very good and the terrace is amazing. We only had interaction with two staff members. Place was beautiful, but was a little upset with customer service. I booked and paid for 7 nights but only stayed 4 due to the fact that we booked one night in Venice, one in Florence and one in Chinque Terrre. What rosette is the fact that the room was ready when we arrived a few hours before our check-in but they wanted to charge us another 10 euro a person to check in early when I paid for 4 people for one quadruple room ..which was the most expensive one .. I think that bad customer service. The room is for four people but I booked for 3 and last minute I added a fourth my husband and they charged another 45 euro a day which it doesn’t make sense since we shared the same bed and we didn’t stay there the whole 8 days I paid for anyway .. I I wanted to take a bottle of water from all inclusive breakfast to my room and they told me to go pay for it at the reception desk. This was ridiculous since breakfast it’s all inclusive. I feel they nickel and dime you for everything., even though the place and food was wonderful and I would love to go back, I think I’ll find somewhere just as beautiful.. plenty of places.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und wir waren im 500 m abseits gelegenen Haus untergebracht. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden und grundsätzlich ordentlich – wenn auch etwas gründlicher hätte geputzt werden können. Das Frühstück war wirklich lecker, ebenso das Abendessen. Preislich ist alles absolut in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr freundlichen Empfang. Beim Service im Restaurant gibt es allerdings noch Luft nach oben: Die Getränke haben recht lange auf sich warten lassen, und es wurde nicht oft nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay.

The views from this property were breath taking, so beautiful. The accommodation was very clean and the food was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and really helpful apart from one. The reception manager was rude and abrupt not just with us but with the other staff in the office. Apart from her being unpleasant I couldn’t fault the stay .. perfect!

Such an amazing stay. Very convenient to set off for day trips to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano etc. the property is gorgeous with stunning views and the staff is amazing. Highly recommend. Rent a car in Florence. You won’t regret it.

Our stay at Poderi Arcangelo in the rolling hills of San Gimignano was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the views were the kind that stop you in your tracks – especially at sunset when the Tuscan hills glow gold. The food was exceptional every day, with authentic local flavours that made each meal a highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming and always tried their best to help, adding to the charm of the place. The location is perfect for exploring nearby treasures such as San Gimignano itself, Certaldo, and Volterra. One thing to note – a hire car is essential. Public transport is virtually non-existent here; we couldn’t get a bus at all and taxis, while available, were scarce and very expensive – we spent €400 on just three journeys. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, though it would have been helpful to know in advance. Also, while the property is beautiful, there’s no real indoor bar area for relaxing before or after dinner. There is an outdoor bar, but it only opens on weekends and closes at 18:00, so an early evening drink isn’t always possible. Despite this, we had seven days of bliss and would return in a heartbeat – next time with a hire car, ready to explore every corner of this stunning part of Tuscany.

Bellissima struttura nella campagna toscana,adagiata sulla cresta di una collina con vista spettacolare. A pochi minuti di auto da Certaldo e San Gimignano. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly, the food was fantastic, the location was incredible. Very close to San Gimignano so lots to do and see around the area. The pool at the main house very clean and has amazing views. The Wine Tour and cooking class both very fun and great value for money. Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and will be returning in the future.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und wir waren im 500 m abseits gelegenen Haus untergebracht. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden und grundsätzlich ordentlich – wenn auch etwas gründlicher hätte geputzt werden können. Das Frühstück war wirklich lecker, ebenso das Abendessen. Preislich ist alles absolut in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr freundlichen Empfang. Beim Service im Restaurant gibt es allerdings noch Luft nach oben: Die Getränke haben recht lange auf sich warten lassen, und es wurde nicht oft nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Our stay at Poderi Arcangelo in the rolling hills of San Gimignano was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the views were the kind that stop you in your tracks – especially at sunset when the Tuscan hills glow gold. The food was exceptional every day, with authentic local flavours that made each meal a highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming and always tried their best to help, adding to the charm of the place. The location is perfect for exploring nearby treasures such as San Gimignano itself, Certaldo, and Volterra. One thing to note – a hire car is essential. Public transport is virtually non-existent here; we couldn’t get a bus at all and taxis, while available, were scarce and very expensive – we spent €400 on just three journeys. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, though it would have been helpful to know in advance. Also, while the property is beautiful, there’s no real indoor bar area for relaxing before or after dinner. There is an outdoor bar, but it only opens on weekends and closes at 18:00, so an early evening drink isn’t always possible. Despite this, we had seven days of bliss and would return in a heartbeat – next time with a hire car, ready to explore every corner of this stunning part of Tuscany.

Absolutely perfect - accommodation, countryside location, typical Tuscan dinners, wonderful relaxing pool and nicely sized with a lovely family run feeling, whilst easily accessible to nearby hill top villages. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7 and 8 PM). Some time you just want a nice drink or snack earlier times. Another point I noticed was that the floor in the bedroom was quite dusty upon arrival. I have to say, these 2 points of feedback would not take away my full recommendation for this place. We loved every second of our stay.

Beautiful location. Very nice room with a lovely view. Dinner was good value, food wholesome and nice. Convivial atmosphere which was nice but service at dinner needed to be a little more professional and pleasant. Breakfast was good but would have liked a better selection of breads and meats and hot eggs.

Lovely place. Rooms are a nice nice. We stayed in a junior suite. Pool was lovely and the view from it was incredible. Ball games etc not allowed in the pool and the pool area bar didn’t open until about 5/6pm. This is not a criticism as it created a quiet and relaxed vibe which was fitting of the view and location, but worth noting. Breakfast was nice, we would have preferred a little more choice, but no complaints, they hosted a pizza night on one of our stays, the pizza was ok, we would have preferred to have the Tuscan dinner another night but didn’t work with our plans, All in all a lovely stay, would happily return.

What a beautiful hotel! The views were stunning at every angle! The hotel staff were friendly, room was good size and breakfast was served every morning. Our first evening, we ate a delicious meal in the restaurant and tasted some won’t made at the hotel. The shower pressure was not great but I would Say that is par for all Italy hotels. They even gave us a cute little jar of honey (also made there). I would definitely return here!

The most beautiful views!! 360 degrees to the Tuscany hills. Everything is so clean and well maintained. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast with delicious bread facing the valley and town. It is the most relaxing place you will find around. Did not get into the pool as the weather was playing tricks on, but the place is so wonderful that you don’t even need the pool. Awesome place

I came with my mom and it was the perfect place to enjoy the quiety beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are stunning and enjoying breakfast in the outdoor patio every morning was such a sweet way to start our day. I also cannot commend the staff enough for being so thoughtful in how they manage the property and answered our questions.
