Das Hotel hat eine super Lage um Freiburg und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Man ist fussläufig in wenigen Minuten am Münster und in der Altstadt. Im Hotel selbst ist alles prima. Gutes Frühstücksbufett und auch die Parksituation ist super. Vom Parkhaus direkten Zugang zum Hotel und die Parkgebühren sind für Hotelgäste ermässigt. Alles in Allem ein super Aufenthalt und nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage um Freiburg und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Man ist fussläufig in wenigen Minuten am Münster und in der Altstadt. Im Hotel selbst ist alles prima. Very nice hotel, great location with lots of food options close by. Parking is under the hotel and very convenient. Room was clean and modern and staff very helpful. We originally book this hotel for one night but extended it to two nights due to a poor hotel experience the prior night.

A nice modern hotel well placed for the old town. Staff were helpful and attentive. It lacks anywhere to get a beverage and snack during the day. I arrived at about 9pm and ate in the bar area where I paid over the odds for a very small portion of reheated chilli con carne. In summary, a nice place to sleep but limited other facilities.

Das Hotel lag im Zentrum der Altstadt, das öffentliche Parkhaus war im Gebäude und es gab einen Hotelrabatt für den Parkzeitraum. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück reichhaltig. Da es im Zentrum liegt, ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt viele Geschäfte und Gaststätten.

Zweiter Aufzug im Hotel Defekt dadurch viel Treppen steigen. Einchecken um 15.00 Uhr finde ich ein Unding. Frühstück für 22 € hätte ich mit mehr erwartet.

Seit längerer Zeit ist der zweite Fahrstuhl defekt. Lange Schlange an der Kaffeemaschine. Auswahl zum Frühstück bei dem Preis nicht angemessen. Bei der Anzahl der Gäste ist der Frühstücksraum zu klein. Ich werde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Top Lage, Altstadt in kurzer Gehdistanz erreichbar, Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Hotel. Bahnhof zu Fuss auch in 10 bis 15 min. erreichbar. Man sieht dem Hotel jedoch an, dass es schon etwas "abgelebt" ist. Viele defekte Stellen an Wänden, Decke, Türen... Leider war das Zimmer nicht sehr sauber geputzt, Plastikdeckel von Vormieter am Boden, Badezimmer, Dusche mit Hharwn von Vormieter.. Bett war aber sehr bequem. Frühstück hatten wir nicht mitgebucht, somit nicht beurteilbar.

Hotter than the surface of the sun. They switch off the air conditioning. Not sure why? I think they believe they are saving penguins rather than caring about the comfort of their guests. Someone was also smoking on our floor. Took me back to the 90’s. I could have murdered 20 Marlboro lights, right there and then.

We stayed overnight and it was a very comfortable stay and very conveniently located near the old town and cathedral. The rooms are modern and the bathrooms are great. Will definitely stay here again if passing through.

We spent two nights in Freiburg at this hotel. The town is beautiful and we had a great visit. So much to do and see. The market on the church square was beautiful on Saturday morning. A couple of things to know. It is a short walk to the hotel from the train but recommend you take the city tram. It lets off very close to the hotel. We walked but one of our luggage wheels did not survive the journey over the cobble stone streets. The room was nice but there was insufficient cooling and it was warm at night for sleeping. The hotel location is perfect for walking to most city attractions but the city rail will take you just about everywhere. A couple day pass is a good idea and inexpensive. Do not opt for the breakfast buffet. There are cheaper and better options for breakfast close by. One breakfast restaurant on the square near the church in the center of town was especially nice but can’t recall the name. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Room was sweltering and without AC even though AC was listed as an amenity. The staff blamed Hotels.com/Expedia for misrepresenting the hotel. The staff said to just open the window, which opened onto a busy street with lots of load partygoers. Very disappointing for the money.

The only negative I can say is that the entrance to the hotel is not the easiest to find.l because you see the restaurant advertisement and not the hotel. However, that is such a minor complaimt. The room was clean and safe. The staff was so pleasnt, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was also ideally located to the tram and other locations. I highly recommend.

Wir trafen um 14.00 Uhr und die Zimmer waren schon bereit. Leider hätten wir pro Zimmer einen Aufschlag von je 30 Euro bezahlen müssen, wenn wir vor der ordentlichen CheckIn-Zeit um 15.00 Uhr in die Zimmer wollten. Dies ist sehr kundenunfreundlich und in keinem Verhältnis. Wir wären sehr froh gewesen, wenn wir mit meinen 78-jährigen Mutter eine Stunde früher das Zimmer erhalten hätten ohne Aufpreis.

Leider hätten wir pro Zimmer einen Aufschlag von je 30 Euro bezahlen müssen, wenn wir vor der ordentlichen CheckIn-Zeit um 15.00 Uhr in die Zimmer wollten. Very nice hotel, great location with lots of food options close by. Parking is under the hotel and very convenient. Room was clean and modern and staff very helpful. We originally book this hotel for one night but extended it to two nights due to a poor hotel experience the prior night.

Well situated for the Altestadt and the attractions. A reasonable walk from the station but acceptable. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast buffet in a light and attractive first floor breakfast room with views. The ground floor entrance is a little unprepossessing but the welcome was good and the room made comfortable by the air conditioning, which was needed. A short walk from the attractions in the city.

Walkable to the Munsterplatz and many shops, restaurants and bars. The reception area had a tranquil vibe and the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage um Freiburg und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Man ist fussläufig in wenigen Minuten am Münster und in der Altstadt. Im Hotel selbst ist alles prima. Gutes Frühstücksbufett und auch die Parksituation ist super. Vom Parkhaus direkten Zugang zum Hotel und die Parkgebühren sind für Hotelgäste ermässigt. Alles in Allem ein super Aufenthalt und nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Top gepflegtes Hotel mitten in der Innenstadt von Freiburg. Münster ist in der Nähe. Es gibt ausreichend Personal beim Check-In und Check-Out, ebenso beim Frühstück. Das war reichhaltig und es für jeden Geschmack etwas. Zimmer war sauber. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Det mesta var bra, men att betala 22 Euro för en normal frukost tycker jag är i värsta laget. Dagarna före åt vi ungefär samma frukost för. 179 SEK, ca 15 Euro, för 2 personer i 2 dagar, dagarna dessförinnan 14 Euro per person inget varmt ingick.

Very clean. Very nice bar with friendly service for evening relaxing. Nicely located for access to sights, and hiking opportunities. Better information about how to get to parking and clarity on costs (included or not? Daily rate? How do I find the parking structure?) would be helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Air conditioning was terrible. Room has no wash cloths, no conditioner and no lotion. Location was convenient but cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Every night the noise from the nearby bars continued late

Amazing aircondition! Much needed as summer in Freiburg is VERY hot. Excellent location, very nice and quiet. Was lucky to get the room on the top floor, end of the hall, facing the Munsterplatz but also Schlossberg. Incredible view! Situated very central with lots of lovely places to eat and watch around. 10/10 recomend.

Good location, close to shopping and some restaurants. Shower looked nasty, we had to put towels on the shower floor and the A/C was barely working, while it was over 100deg outside.
