The apartment was nice but a bit tired. The tv would not work in the main room so had to get someone to come ,& look at it twice but gave up after that. To be fair the staff were helpful but they struggled to get it working. The gym/spa was out of use but spoke to someone to find a solution

The balcony view was wonderful in all three rooms. In two rooms, not of the ocean or pool area, but directly over all the palm trees with the birds going back and forth. The third room had a view of the pool area and mezzanine, which was lovely. The rooms were clean when we arrived, and small items were provided to start you off. You needed to go get more soaps and such (i.e., toilet paper) if you needed more. We found that overall, the atmosphere was peaceful and calming, clean, and well-kept. It's only two blocks from the ocean, which was convenient as well. Both pools were nice. The inside pool had a louvered roof that closed when it rained, lovely lighting, and a good overall atmosphere. People can only get to the floors if they have the key fob for that floor, which was good for security. In one room, the air conditioning was in the bedroom, and in the other two, it was in the living room, so it was hard to manage the whole apartment's cooling at night. Leave the bedroom door open and the ceiling fan on if you want to be cooler at night, or sleep on the couch beds. Electronic door locks would be a nice perk, as my husband's key didn't always work, and he had to spend time jiggling it for the door to finally open. Overall, a lovely stay for our 4 adult family, and we would definitely be rebooking if we come back. PS: The restaurant downstairs, Rudy's Organic, is allergy aware and works well with celiac and dairy-free issues.

Great cafe onsite that stays open til 2pm with lovely garden surrounding. Excellent outdoor pool area and indoor pool and spa. The spa is not as hot as some which I enjoyed because I could stay in it longer. The dry sauna is small but nice but remember to turn it to warm it up before you get in it. The room had great city views and could even see a bit of the ocean. It needs a good deep clean of carpet and drapes though as the room smelled like a room that his been closed up too long. Not awful but noticeable. Full kitchen. We stayed in a 1bedroom with double foldout couch for extra people. Tell the front desk if you need to use it, as they will need to set it up with linens first. A bit dated, but no big deal. I stay in the area alot. A decent stay and was worth what we paid.

The room was aged and was not clean enough. Many of the places were full of dust and the bed was itchy. No refill on the toilette and the apartment did not provide washing detergent (even though Expedia mentioned that the apartment would provide all these items). The inner part of the kettle turned black already and I think nobody would like to use it to boil water. The staff did not respond to any of our requests for the whole stay. I had to buy bath gel, shampoo, water, and washing detergent on my own.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night family holiday at Marrakesh. Location and comfort were great with room cleanliness on arrival our only concern. A female hygiene pad wrapper in the bedroom drawers and a dirty kids sock on the floor of the cupboard was a little disappointing. None of this bothered us and would definitely stay again.

It was fine. Not great but okay. The apartment is a bit dingy and there was dirt behind the bathroom door where the floor hadnt been cleaned and that gave me the ick when I arrived, but the bed was comfortable and we werent in it most of the day. I think sound reflects off nearby skyscrapers so it was surprisingly noisy even on level 10, but there's nothing the owners could have done about that.

The outdoor area is gorgeous, loved the pools. The lifts were nice and fast. Our room was quite dated and bathroom very old as shown with mouldy silicon and dirty grout, but iverall very clean. Wasn't impressed on our last morning when we were checking we had everything that someones knickers (not ours) were found between the mattress and headboard. Suggest the cleaners and bed makers check more throughly. Overall however we enjoyed our stay

Very ordinary and tired. Internet didn't work, and a second log in didn't arrive. Limited reception times so no one to talk to. Might be okay for some holiday makers but not for business. Overpriced compared to many others on the Coast.

We had a great balcony with views of the ocean, the apartment was spacious with everything you need. We walked to Surfers Paradise along the beach in about 20 minutes and back along the seaside path (15 minutes) there are shops and restaurants close by. Having the beach so close was a real bonus. I loved the apartment and secure underground parking was great. This is a very secure apartment building, you can’t go anywhere without your fob.

Beautiful , spacious 1 bedroom apartment. Lovely views, great blockout curtains. Good shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location. The only thing I would have loved would have been a firm King sized bed. The small, soft, double bed wasn’t ideal for 2 people to sleep on.

The apartment and grounds were beautiful. We were very disappointed that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom only in the living area. It was very warm and made sleeping difficult. Also there was only one roll of toilet paper and we ran out on our last day. Could have been a few more supplies like salt and pepper and more sugar and definitely more toilet paper. As a tourist I don’t expect to have to go buy all my basics for my stay. Thank you

Amazing hotel, views were fantastic! The layout and the room were very clean. The beds were firm and the mattress was old, didn’t get the best sleep. The hotel wasn’t very sound proof, as you could hear all the cars below. The heated pools were amazing, gardens were well taken care of, I could definitely come back.

Property had very warm outside and inside pools and spas a sauna and gym. Well maintained. However there were no pool towels available and you had to pay $5.00 each to hire a towel which I found annoying so we bought our own towels. There was a $1.00 for extra toilet paper rolls etc which we found petty for a four star apartment. There is a sign at the front desk with a list of extra charges and the front desk is only open till 4.30 pm during the week and 2.30 on the weekend. Checkin at 2.00 pm was OK. But when our flight home was cancelled at 5.00 pm and we wanted to book an extra night there was nobody to contact other than an emergency number that could not help so we booked a hotel next door. Hotel located half was between Broadbeach and Surfers and near the tram stop.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we spoke to them about a concern we had, they immediately worked on it. The rooms were very spacious and felt like home. If we visit Gold Coast again, this would definitely be the place we'd stay in.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we spoke to them about a concern we had, they immediately worked on it. The rooms were very spacious and felt like home. If we visit Gold Coast again, this would definitely be the place we'd stay in.

What an excellent place to stay , short trip or long trip the place is a little paradise. Steph and Chris and even the residents we met was all friendly. With regards to Steph the manager nothing was too much trouble . Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Friendly and helpful personel. Very good information for late check in or early check out outside reception hours. Nice fully self contained apartment with good balcony, good beds and good shower. Full kitchen and Washing machine and dryer available in apartment. Large and well maintained pool. Parking in safe garage under the building.

Check-in service and assistance was amazing, better than experienced in 5 star international hotels. Room was spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfortable, as were pillows. A great view from the balcony. Staff were accommodating, pleasant and did all they could to ensure you enjoyed your stay.

The team at Marrakesh are very professional and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble for the Staff. Steph , Chris and Cristina . During the Cyclone their help was invaluable for the guests Rik secured our patio furniture safely so no damage could be done. Rik is a lovely guy who would help any of the guests at Marrakesh Apartments. Thank you Steph it was lovely time we had Regards Peter and Carolyn x

We had a great balcony with views of the ocean, the apartment was spacious with everything you need. We walked to Surfers Paradise along the beach in about 20 minutes and back along the seaside path (15 minutes) there are shops and restaurants close by. Having the beach so close was a real bonus. I loved the apartment and secure underground parking was great. This is a very secure apartment building, you can’t go anywhere without your fob.

First time staying here. I wasn't sure about the location when I booked, but it was perfect. Two blocks to beach, two blocks to light rail,spacious, clean apartment and sparkling pool. Access to lift/floors was with security fob, so felt very secure. And the christmas tree in the foyer was gorgeous. Would definitely book again, and would recommend. And light rail 777 bus made getting to airport very straightforward

Great cafe onsite that stays open til 2pm with lovely garden surrounding. Excellent outdoor pool area and indoor pool and spa. The spa is not as hot as some which I enjoyed because I could stay in it longer. The dry sauna is small but nice but remember to turn it to warm it up before you get in it. The room had great city views and could even see a bit of the ocean. It needs a good deep clean of carpet and drapes though as the room smelled like a room that his been closed up too long. Not awful but noticeable. Full kitchen. We stayed in a 1bedroom with double foldout couch for extra people. Tell the front desk if you need to use it, as they will need to set it up with linens first. A bit dated, but no big deal. I stay in the area alot. A decent stay and was worth what we paid.

Had a great few days staying here. Very comfortable although our apartment was a little outdated. Loved the pool, spa, sauna and gym set up. The on-site organic cafe was great. Easy walk to the beach and tram but in a quiet safe neighborhood between Surfers and Broadbeach. Staff at reception vey polite and helpful. Would happily visit again.

You can’t beat the values for this place. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on 8th floor, and we felt like home away home. Full size kitchen, washer and dryer are included. The balcony is huge, panoramic view of the city and just tad of ocean view was breathtaking. There is even own balcony in one of the bedroom. Light rail station is very closed by. We had a car, so even though markets and shops are a bit far for walking distance, it was not an issue for us. The garage parking definitely a plus. The whole building is secured. The swimming pool and the lobby area are clean, Mediterranean styles. Downstairs cafe is a bonus, amazing coffee. Despite being an older building, We loved everything about this hotel. A few side notes if you stay here for a week: buy some essential such as toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, sponge, laundry detergents at supermarket. No housekeeping so empty your own trash, wash your own towels, etc. We wish there are extra trash bags, better cooking pan, sharp knife, basic condiments, cooking oils, for cooking. The ventilation fan wasn’t working when cooking meals, need to open windows for that matter.

We did our research and because of the long stay we was doing so we visted the property before we booked. Steph was excellent answering our questions and so profesional. So much so we are here for 5 more weeks which is two bookings. The residents that are here are so lovely and helpful to short stay residents. Its a must to book. We love the pool and the cafe on site .
