Amazing location next to the Alhambra! Expensive considering lack of amenities (eg, no pool or spa)

Historic parador on the grounds of the Alhambra. Currently there is some construction. Breakfast service was under-staffed. Room lighting is fickle. Front desk is excellent. I recommend the historical menu at the restaurant

Paradores de Granada has lovely grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and took place in a delightful setting. It was easy to access the Alhambra the day we toured it. Buenisimo. Muchas gracias

Was inside of the Alhambra and very easy to walk into town. Historical beautiful building with lovely outdoor spaces.

Location and grounds

Wonderful to be within the magical Alhambra in an old (but renovated!) Franciscan convent. Staff was terrific. My only suggestion is that they give guests the option of not having sheets washed daily to save on environmental costs. A superb hotel. Quiet and with an unforgettable view and solarium. Excellent breakfast too.

Location is the best for the Alhambra as it's inside the grounds. Beautiful grounds. Don't miss the maze and views behind the outdoor restaurant. Perfect for taking a break mid day through your day at the Alhambra. Hotel will call u a cab to venture into town and it's inexpensive. The restaurant is pretty good and fair pricing. I do think that the breakfast could be much better for this caliber of hotel.

Extremely convenient location and very well maintained property with attention to details. There breakfast could've had more variety.

Beautiful property , well maintained , spotlessly clean. Rooms are basic but extremely comfortable as were the beds. Restaurant and breakfast service good but one had a slight impression of a state controlled organisation that lacked underlying understanding of the commercial market. Individually the staff were charming.

Our room had a great view of the Gerneralife part of the Algambra. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The shower was hot. Great after a long say of walking around the Alhambra. The hotel is in the perfect location to see the Alhambra. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was okay. Breakfast was a simple, typical Spanish buffet option of breads and cereal, eggs to order, fruit, etc. There are really not any choices to go out for breakfast up there. Lunch was in a lovely outdoor courtyard. Good salad and sandwich options. Dinner was just okay. The salad was excellent but our choice of main course not so great. It was a great trip and a place we had always wanted to visit.

バスルームの隅に、女性の髪の毛のかたまりが放置されていた。清掃済みのトイレの蓋を開けると、女性の長い髪がでてきた。 レストランの対応やロケーション、ロビースタッフの好感度など、あとは、素晴らしいホテルだったのに残念でした。

バスルームに使用済みのバスキャップが、タオル掛けに置いたままだった。 明らかに前使用者のものと思われる髪の毛が手洗いシンクに残っていて、不快だった。

アルハンブラ宮殿までのアクセスがとても近くて便利でした。ホテルの中庭で夜のアルハンブラをゆっくり堪能しました。 お部屋はスタンダードだったため、雰囲気はそこまででしたが、清潔に保たれていました。唯一シャワーの使い方が大変でした。 グラナダ中心部からはアクセスが大変だと言うことも分かりましたので、今後友人にはこちらのホテルをお勧めしようと思います。現在ホテル入口改装工事中でした。

This place is way too expensive for what it is. Yes it is right in the Allhambra and that was why we chose it, but I would not recommend it. The room lacked any charm, had a single small window, mediocre bathhroom, no vanity kits, and felt like a $100 room for $500. Do not eat at the restaurant, the decor is terrible and enough lights to feel as though you are in a walmart.

Such a beautiful location right next to the exquisite Alhambra. Beautiful room with a view of the generalife. What a remarkable site.

Staying in the Alhambra was a treat. Our room was lovely and comfortable, even though our window looked out onto an undecorated rooftop. Beyond was a beautiful view of the hillside so I shouldn't complain. It could've been a little better if they had a couple of plants or something on said rooftop rooftop. Staff was helpful and friendly, in spite of language differences. Cocktails on the terrace were very nice. Gardens were about to bloom and were very well tended. You can't beat the location; we walked just a few steps to the Generalife entrance! Our only disappointment is the lack of availability of information about the Alhambra experience. We especially were disappointed that there were no audio guides available anywhere at the site and we had to rely on downloaded audio guides from the Internet, which were not great due to dreadful connectivity issues. So my advice is to provide info regarding the site and referral to on-line guides or some such. Otherwise can be very frustrating when you see tour groups go by with guides that are providing need information. We would have arranged this in advance had we known.

Overall a nice stay, but for double the price of virtually everywhere else and even 5 star stays, hard to justify! The rooms were nice, except the music from the late night flamenco show until 12:30am was overkill. There was virtually no soundproofing that. The view was gorgeous and restaurant was good! Overall enjoyed but bot blown away for price!

Fabulous historical property in the middle of the Alhambra complex. It is absolutely worth the cost of staying here. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the hotel itself is an historic and interesting property. Hotel staff - especially Felix on reception - most helpful. It's an easy walk down into town (taxi back up!). Dinner was very good. The cafe gets crowded with drop-in clients from outside the hotel, the staff are a bit over-worked but it's a lovely spot to sit and take a break from the amazing Alhambra and Generalife.

We slept very well in this Parador. We got a stylish, comfortable standard room on the 3rd floor for one night, and it was very pleasant. I removed one star because I did send a list of questions through the Hotels.com website and never received any reply. We finally had to call to get the necessary information. Once in the hotel, all the receptionists were very pleasant and answered all our questions. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and food (and drinks) were at a good level. Plenty of choice for breakfast and some vegetarian options at dinner.

Out of all places we stay in Spain, the staff here is by far the worst.

When we checked in the gentleman at reception was the best and most attentive person I have encountered while travelling. He did everything, checked us in quickly and efficiently, carried our many bags to the room and parked our car. And the best part it was done in friendly manner.

Brilliant hotel, great location, great breakfast. Staff were excellent. Not going to name all the guys who looked after us at the reception in case we miss one. They were all excellent, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, a credit to the hotel. In particular i liked the attention to detail - such as bamboo tongs for a buffet (covid is still around).

A beautiful building, minutes to Alhambra, but away from the crowds. Staff is pleasant and efficient.

The service levels are abysmal as the staff have the attitude of state run bureaucrats rather than professionals in the hospitality sector. Definitely NOT worth the huge premium they charge for being right in the Alhambra palace. You can get the same location advantage at half the price right next door!

We didn’t have tickets to the palace before we came and Juan at reception got us tickets for the next day even though they were not available online. Thank you so much. We were surprised that the train and tourist site tickets through out Spain were not as available as we expected having travelled in Spain 11 years ago without this problem.

Jorge at frontdesk was superb...could not have been more helpful! Get your Alhambra tickets at least two weeks before you arrive or you won't get in! This Parador is VERY expensive, and rooms are smaller than other Paradors. The breakfast staff was very unfriendly...unlike everyone else!

I don’t recommend to the folks who spent a lot of money, time and effort to come from oversees. If you are a tourist, I’d recommend you to book the hotel at the town. This hotel does have a cafeteria/restaurant space but the menu is not delectable. Also, you have to walk long distance or taxi to get the closest cafe or restaurant with limited numbers of restaurants and stores with limited business hours. If you want to have a good time in Granada, I’d recommend to stay at local hotels in near downtown so that you’ll find so many options of tapas restaurants, cafes, gelato, souvenir shops and other local shops. Centro area (downtown) 6 minutes away from the parador has so much more to offer you (highly recommend!) On the other hand, the staff member at the parador, sadly to say that I’d have give them 1 star for their service and professionalism. There were two staff members at the front counter when we arrived. Four of us drove from Cadiz so it was a good 3 hours drive and we were tired but excited for staying at world famous place…… however, both of the staff members completely ignored us for couple of minutes, one of them weren’t helping customers but just looking at the computer screen in front of us. There were no smile, no greeting, no warm welcoming, no clear explanations about the facility, no portering our luggage (we carried ourselves to the hotel room), just careless and ignorance. The parador offered the worst hotel service we’ve ever had. Don’t stay at here.

Staying on the grounds of the Alhambra is a special experience. Not only do you have immediate access to touring the Alhambra, once the tourists depart for the day, you get to live among the Moorish palaces and gardens. The restaurant was excellent, as was the terrace care, where a drink at sunset provides an amazing view of the Generalife. Walking into town takes about 10 min. through the park.

Beautiful facility with a perfect location. We were told the dining room had just been redone. But the bright lighting gave the room a commercial feel, rather than the more intimate environment we were expecting. Service was very good, but the food quality was mediocre. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.

Obviously this is an unique location. The building is a one off. However the dinner menu we found to be average and below par for the location.

The Hotel is very expensive for what was provided. The breakfast was very basic, limited food at the cafe and with such a beautiful outlook at the cafe it would be great to have heaters so you could enjoy the atmosphere. As it is so cold and limited food options you are forced to go into Granada unless you want to wait for the restaurant that doesn’t open until 8.30pm…..with such a large price tag it would be helpful for the hotel to organise the Alhambra tickets as many visitors were unable to gain access and were staying at the Parador for that very reason. So while it’s very peaceful and beautiful it’s not value for money.

It was truly a special and memorable experience to stay at Parador de Granada. Our itinerary during the two week travel was pretty packed and staying at the Parador really allowed us to feel a sense of peace. The restaurant was excellent and really enjoyed the live music provided by the guitarist, too.
