Absolutely recommended – perfect for families with children! We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton with our two young children. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed – the kids even received a small welcome package, which made them feel extra special. The entire hotel is incredibly child-friendly, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was just the right size for the three of us and worked perfectly with two small children. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and delicious – a great way to start each day. One of the best perks: free parking right in front of the hotel, which made everything even more convenient. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Det var en mycket regnig oktoberkväll som jag anlände till hotellet. Hotellet var rent, stiligt och mycket pampigt! Tacknämligt med tanke på vädret, var att det fanns tunlar insprängda i berget, till både conferensavdelningen och bastuavdelningen vid stranden. Jag provade bastun och simbassängen. Man skulle ta med hotellets nyckelkort till bassängen, då man gick från bastun. Annars kunde man bli utlåst. Bastuavdelningen var ren, men kändes ganska föråldrad inredningsmässigt. Rummet var riktigt bra! Det fanns vattenkokare i rummet. Sängen var den hårdaste hotellsäng jag någonsin har sovit i. Trots det sov jag gott. Morgonmålet var riktigt bra!

Jag trivdes verkligen på Hilton Kalastajatorppa. Läget vid havet med egen strand gav en lugn och vacker inramning, och poolen var ett perfekt avbrott för lite avkoppling. Sängen var väldigt bekväm med riktigt bra kuddar, och de utomordentliga mörkläggningsgardinerna gjorde att jag sov otroligt gott. Som pricken över i var frukosten fantastisk – riklig, fräsch, varierandeoch välsmakande. Ett hotell jag gärna återvänder till!

ヘルシンキ郊外にあるので、静かで歴史あるホテルだと思います。 しかし、室内の設備はちょっと古く、特にシャワールームの水が洗面台に流れてこみ、床が濡れてしまい困りました。 しかし、トーベヤンソンが若い頃、デザインを任されたバンケットルームは素晴らしいです 一般的には公開されてませんので、宿泊してこのバンケットルームをみせて頂けると、大変貴重なホテルだと思います

Le cadre de l’hôtel est exceptionnel avec de très beaux paysages naturels à côté. L’hôtel a bien vieilli, il est bien entretenu. La propreté des chambres est moyenne, des toiles d’araignée traînent dans le balcon jamais nettoyé. Le personnel est raid mais tres efficace. L’hôtel est proche de ligne du Tram 4, c’est tres pratique pour aller au centre ville, la ligne du bus 52 est aussi à quelques centaines de m de l’hôtel

A beautiful lovely hotel. Great staff, friendly, caring. The surrounding is lovely, and the hotel is easily reachable by tram 4 (the endstop, Munkkiniemi) than a 2 min walk. The room was clean, modern, luxurious, and the bathroom was amazing. The only minus was the minibar, one coca cola and a little chocolate costed me €10… That was a bit too much to my taste.

Hotel is a nice peaceful location though far from city centre. Tram station is 2-3 minutes walk which is very convenient, and takes to city centre and market place where you can get boat and cruises. The staff at reception especially Anna and Milia were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services were prompt. In the twin room the single beds are quite narrow. Ambience of the room is tired, there was no slippers or gown, shower cap etc as you would expect in a good 4 star hotel. Rooms do not have A/C and was quite warm during the night. Staff provided a fan. Breakfast had good variety but the quality could be improved. Shower cubicle in the bathroom had water leaking to the main bathroom floor making it wet and slippery. Hotel staff they were not able to fix it.

Great natural environment. More spacious rooms than in most other higher end hotels in Helsinki. Nice views even in basic rooms. If you don’t need to choose a center hotel for schedule reasons, do consider this one. It is built in the 70s and has that vibe, but still I think it is one of the best value for money offerings in Helsinki. Breakfast had all the basics, but on second day the offering wasn’t as good as the first (Monday vs Tuesday, probably less visitors). Extra thanks for fresh cut fruits (especially pineapple etc) which always distinguishes a better breakfast from a bulk one. Service very friendly and attentive, breakfast butler had a wonderful touch.

Great Breakfast. Beatifull surraundings. I have been staying and enjoying this hotel 4 times (1 or 2 rooms during 6-14 nights). I would like to stay here again next year, but thwre is one crucial problem. Aur Condition is working in the Lobby, Restaurant, corridors, but NOT in the rooms. If this issue will not be fixed you can't take the risk of staying there during summer.

Un hotel de esa categoría esperaba un pelín más, la habitación y el baño algo pequeña. Solo ducha. No te esperes amenities en el hotel, para lo que costaba la noche, no había nada de lo se suele encontrar en este tipo de hoteles, sólo jabón, champú y gel en la ducha. Me decepcionó eso. El buffet de la mañana fue lo mejor. La ubicación algo lejos del centro pero bien comunicado y con un tremendo parque/museo en las proximidades y una naturaleza exuberante para recorrer.
Un hotel de esa categoría esperaba un pelín más, la habitación y el baño algo pequeña. Solo ducha. No te esperes amenities en el hotel, para lo que costaba la noche, no había nada de lo se suele encontrar en este tipo de hoteles, sólo jabón, champú y gel en la ducha. Me decepcionó eso. Looks OK, but need to pay attention to the details. This is a Hilton afterall. Would be nice to have some options to eat. All I saw was some chocolate and coffee at reception. There were a couple of sandwiches on the last day, but I had already eaten by then. I was there on business, not holiday, so after a long trip, or a long day working, it's nice to be able to come back to the hotel knowing that I can find some food. If I was on holiday I would likely have picked somewhere in town and gone out for food, but I didn't have time for that. From what I saw, many other guests were in the same situation. I ended up faffing around for an hour or two with various "uber eats" type apps until I was able to get one to work and finally able to find something. Also, need to pay attention to the details eg. in the room. A tea spoon to go with the kettle/tea making facilities; A curtain that closes; a bin liner for the bin; a heater that heats up before you sleep, not 6 hours later - requiring you to then wake up and open the window....just to name a few. The hotel itself does look good with some nice features, but some improvements would be welcome

Stay was nice and the location is great. Room was spacey and sea view magnificent. Swimming in the sea was the cherry on top. Yet the thing that is on the top of my mind after the stay is the 6 EUR water battle - it was left at the table like many hotels leave those as a courtesy and we drank those. However, once we checked out it appeared that on the TV's welcome screen (which we never really looked at) had been said that it is free only for the Hilton's preferred quests which we were not, but for others 6 EUR. First world problem and we are not going to bankcruptcy, I know, but still it leaves you a feeling you've been cheated to buy something you would not have bought if it would have been clear that it costs 6 EUR.

We booked this hotel as the last night of a Finland holiday because the food and restaurant were so highly recommended. At check-in we were informed that the restaurant was closed and that food was only available from the lobby bar. It was literally a bar menu, so we ended up with burger and chips!! Not what we had expected. My main complaint is that no-where prior to arriving was there any information that the restaurant was closed. Surely a reputable company would have informed customers, and that its only rip-off companies that promise one thing and leave the customer with no option but to accept much less!! I thought the Hilton was the former and not the latter. Very disappointing

Absolutely recommended – perfect for families with children! We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton with our two young children. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed – the kids even received a small welcome package, which made them feel extra special. The entire hotel is incredibly child-friendly, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was just the right size for the three of us and worked perfectly with two small children. The breakfast buffet was very diverse and delicious – a great way to start each day. One of the best perks: free parking right in front of the hotel, which made everything even more convenient. All in all, a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is a nice peaceful location though far from city centre. Tram station is 2-3 minutes walk which is very convenient, and takes to city centre and market place where you can get boat and cruises. The staff at reception especially Anna and Milia were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services were prompt. In the twin room the single beds are quite narrow. Ambience of the room is tired, there was no slippers or gown, shower cap etc as you would expect in a good 4 star hotel. Rooms do not have A/C and was quite warm during the night. Staff provided a fan. Breakfast had good variety but the quality could be improved. Shower cubicle in the bathroom had water leaking to the main bathroom floor making it wet and slippery. Hotel staff they were not able to fix it.

Nothing really wrong, just a dated conference hotel. Breakfast was expensive and boring, served by a team who weren’t really bothered. The area was quiet and the view from the front of the hotel was special but the rooms, lounge, pool and communal areas screamed of times gone by

Great natural environment. More spacious rooms than in most other higher end hotels in Helsinki. Nice views even in basic rooms. If you don’t need to choose a center hotel for schedule reasons, do consider this one. It is built in the 70s and has that vibe, but still I think it is one of the best value for money offerings in Helsinki. Breakfast had all the basics, but on second day the offering wasn’t as good as the first (Monday vs Tuesday, probably less visitors). Extra thanks for fresh cut fruits (especially pineapple etc) which always distinguishes a better breakfast from a bulk one. Service very friendly and attentive, breakfast butler had a wonderful touch.

Jag trivdes verkligen på Hilton Kalastajatorppa. Läget vid havet med egen strand gav en lugn och vacker inramning, och poolen var ett perfekt avbrott för lite avkoppling. The Hilton Helsinki has a beautiful waterfront location and, overall, a comfortable stay, but it felt like the property could use a bit more attention to maintenance. The room was clean, but the desk showed significant wear with warped wood, stains, and marks. There was also an exposed chunk of drywall in the corner by the window that was hard to overlook. During our three-night stay, the water glasses were never replaced after use, and the paper ice buckets were left empty for two of the days. The wellness area was a poor experience. The pool was okay, and I appreciated that the sauna provided proper reusable sauna mats instead of the paper ones often found in hotels. However, the sauna barely reached 70°C, and the water thrown on the rocks produced almost no steam. The shower in the sauna area also needed repair, as the shower head holder was broken. The trip was a combination of business and pleasure for myself and my son. He is playing competitive golf, and we needed for him to be rested and well balanced before each round. The Hilton was close and normally you would expect around a solid 4star review... Parking is either free or you could choose the underground for 25Euro per night. Perhaps fair in the winter or on business, but felt like highway robbery and I don't understand that Hilton doesn't make it 10 Euros and use their capacity to make little money in stead of no money. The Rooms and the building was nice and already tired 26 Years ago - But now it's kind of a disgrace with this nice location... The pool was green of alger and the Sauna is small as in my own house - Not for 500 guests The restaurant staff was friendly, and the food was ok, Why on earth the breakfast gets fairly good reviews, must be that everyone having it had hungover 😵 I'm not sure I had as boring a breakfast anywhere in the Nordic countries and I do have +60 days pr year. The reception people where all nice and polite, but I will not spend another night before they decide to have the big renovation. Super sad to see such a great location and design being abused for profit in this way.
