Hotel Costa Real

This property is centrally located, with an easy 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Aramas of Las Serena. We arrived very late and without a reservation; however, we were treated well and got 2 nice rooms as requested. The underground locked parking was also quickly opened for us to speed the check in process. Very nice free and complete breakfast buffet, with no add-on items at extra cost. The only fault were the tub/shower combos in both rooms. The glass partition for the shower is not large enough, and when using the shower water goes all over the floor. The front desk was very quick to respond though, cleaning the floors and providing all new towels.

Ok, plain but friendly staff and helpful. No water last day was a pain.

The Costa Real is quite down at the heels. The lobby is pleasant enough and the staff very accommodating. But the place is in sore need of a sprucing up. By the way, there was no air conditioning in my room. With the window open, I was hardly lulled to sleep by the noise of the street below.

Good location, great service and great value

poca variedad en desayuno , faltaban varias cosas esenciales , como la mantequilla , pasteles , torta , otros panes . el personal poco amable , tuve una dificultad con el secador y no me solucionaron , no pude secarme el cabello . la recepcionista del día domingo 08 de marzo del 2026 súper pesada , sería y no tuvo un trato cordial , no nos preguntó por la estadía y al contrario de eso solo se limito a ser indiferente . la verdad cero ganas de volver y de recomendarlos con amigos . en un hotel lo primordial debe ser el trato de los trabajadores y como hacen sentir a sus huéspedes , los garzones de los desayunos nada que decir súper amables . solo la recepcionista que nos dejó con una sensación de negatividad .
