Hotel du Marche

One of the better budget options I've stayed in. There was a lift. There was a small kitchenette however there was no plug in the kitchen sink, which made washing dishes difficult. I did ask reception and housekeeping about this but in my two day stay no plug was provided. I was locked in the shower cubicle! It used a very old lock and key, which was impossible to unlock, I had to shout out for help!

Ótima localização, funcionários simpáticos, quarto confortável e limpo, cozinha compacta boa (a adição de um microondas seria ótimo). O hotel me ligou para se certificar de que eu chegaria lá antes da recepção fechar, e me perguntaram se eu queria o ticket do transporte de Lausanne (ótimo ser gratuito para quem se hospeda na cidade). Voltaria a me hospedar lá com certeza!

Bien pour un sejour de plusieurs jours (economique cqr heures de reception limitees et toilettes et douche partages). Avec cuisinette et frigo!

Une perle d'hotel budget a Lausanne. Facilement accessible a pied du metro ou une longue marche en montant de la gare. Lit neuf (matelas ferme) salle de bain privee, machine a cafe, petit dejeuner cher a 15 francs. Beaucoup de services et commerces disponibles a distance de marche (vieux Lausanne egalement). Avant le lever du soleil la station de metro est peu recommandable. Marche le samedi. J'ai adore mon sejour et j'y retournerai surement.

Accueil facile et rapide, bas prix, endroit très tranquille et bien situé proche du métro, lits confortables, machine Nespresso avec capsules.

Uniek hotel in Lausanne. Naar lokale begrippen een uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Prima kamer met goede bedden. Alles wat je nodig hebt, en gratis koffie en thee op kamer. Enige minpuntje: 3 parkeerplekken, maar begrijpelijk omdat t in t centrum ligt. Parkeren op straat in buurt is gratis vanaf 20.00 uur (en redelijk goed te doen).

L'hôtel est très bien situé. La chambre spacieuse, excellente literie, très propre.Le coin cuisine est très pratique. Je savais que la douche était commune dans le couloir. L'espace douche est très exigu et le pommeau est vétuste, rouillé et avec une fuite d'eau au niveau de la jonction avec le tuyau donc le débit d'eau est faible. C'est dommage.

Le séjour a été convenable. La chambre était propre. Malgré la présence de toilettes communes, il n' y a pas eu d'incommodité particulière par rapport à cette situation que je redécouvrais après l'époque estudiantine.

Property is neat, clean and serviceable. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Property is a little tired. Rooms are large and comfortable.

お風呂とトイレが部屋の外で共同でしたが、綺麗に保たれていて快適でした。フロントの方も丁寧な対応でした。エレベーターもあり お値段を抑えたい方にはいいと思います。

Great value for a night or two. Very well located and clean.

The toilet room smelled like urine. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom. But otherwise My room was comfortable with the fan on and window open. I appreciated the kitchenette. The Expedia site said there was laundry on site but I had to walk 8 min to a laundromat. But the laundromat had instructions in English and big machines that worked quickly. Great location to get where I wanted in Lausanne.

the toilet always had some sort of running water sound, which was uncomfortable at times, not to mention that the sound proofing of the room is very poor. the breakfast options are also limited. for 15 euros it makes more sense to have something from around the corner. the hotel is quite old, but staff are generally friendly.

Bien situé en plein centre ville, assez au calme, chambre spacieuse sans salle de bain mais avec un lavabo et sans air conditionné. Dans l'ensemble bon hotel de passage

The room was really average, but acceptable for the price - sparsely furnished but almost sufficient. What really bothered me was that it was dark: there was no overhead light and only one bedside lamp with a 15watt orange bulb that even when directly pointed at a book did not provide sufficient light to read. The brightest light was in the bathroom - the spotlights built into the cabinet over the sink - useful! But too far to serve as a reading light for the bedroom. There was a desk but no desk lamp and only a small light over the tv (a useless piece of furniture if you want to read) and the tv completely blocked it so you couldn’t really use the desk either. The room was overheated but the windows did open. The place seems quiet at night except I got unlucky with some street noise from a loud drunk… The bed was clean but there was a pee guard under the sheet that covered the middle area of the mattress - sth kept bunching up and I thought it was the sheets until I pulled out that plastic lined sheet about 20 inches wide. That was odd… Probably would stay there again - but must remember to bring my own reading light!!

Staff were excellent and location was very good in relation to the metro and some of the great landmarks, including the Lausanne Cathedral. Lack of air conditioning meant that comfort was compromised but opening the windows helped.

Clean and good location, but it is an old building and the insolation is nonexistant. If your neighbors are noisy, you hear them!!! The street is usually quiet, except twice a week when they pick up the garbage at 6.30 AM The wisteria was lovely at the end of April

Hotel bien situé en plein centre et a 2 stations de la gare. Au niveau de la chambre bonne literie, calme, mais mauvaise isolation phonique vis a vis du couloir :( pas de prise electrique pres du lit ni a cote de la tele donc pas pratique du tout. Et salle de bain vetuste avec rideau pour la douche :( douche agreable pourtant. Mauvais eclairage aussi dans la salle de bain. Derrnier point a ameliorer femme de chambre qui ne frappe pas pour zntrer. Mon tel est donc tombé 2 fois :(

O atendimento na recepção foi péssimo! Estava com uma idosa de 70 anos e uma criança de 3 anos e simplesmente cheguei no hotel 13 hrs e a atendente falou que o hotel só abriria 15 hrs e fechou a porta na minha cara. Falei que estava com malas grandes na rua e ela somente apontou para a placa informando que o hotel estava fechado! Péssimo ! Não indico esse hotel a ninguém

If you stay here and arrive by train, make sure to take the metro to the Riponne - Bejart station. It will save you walking up the hill. The hotel was a good value. The people that worked the desk were helpful and knowledgeable.

Midden in de stad

Quaint hotel uphill from almost everything. 4 adults (parents & adult kids) were a tight fit in family room, but we made it work. Several blocks from nearest tram & bus stop.

We liked the Hotel very much....Near Dining....near attractions and around the lake.......Friendly staff....Reasonably priced.....walkable........Clean rooms.....and a safe area. We even were able to walk to the Train station....15 minutes. Loved it all.

Great location just a short walk from the metro stop. Also delicious food options nearby. Paserty shop and a great brasserie right there, too - definitely order the rosti!

Très bien situé au centre du village. Très proche de la gare et télécabine. Très bon buffet de petit déjeuner. Il y a tout pour un prix très raisonnable. Le prix de l’hébergement est très raisonnable et très compétitif. Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et les toilettes et douches en commun mais assez nombreux et propres. La chambre était simple mais avec un bon lit. Accueille correct. Une bonne adresse.

The room was clean but the comfort was quite limited. I could not charge my computer, neither my phone. No bottle of water in the room, and the breakfast was very limited in terms of choice. The rooms were not soundproofed and my neighbours shower was so noisy that I couldnot hear the TV. Anyway, for the price I paid, I expected better.

L’hôtel est très bien situé comme point de départ de multiples visites de la ville. Le personnel de l’accueil est charmant, serviable, toujours prêt à renseigner. En revanche, je savais que j’avais réservé une chambre avec salle de bain commune. Déjà il faudrait revoir l’appellation, il s’agit plutôt d’une douche étroite et d’un wc séparé, pas large non plus. Voyageur claustrophobe, passé votre chemin. La chambre est vieillotte mais entretenue. Literie à revoir. Le petit déjeuner est en plus, 15CHF pour un buffet pas des plus copieux ni originaux. Mon adolescent a été déçu, il imaginait des mets salés et plus de choix en sucrés.
