OYO Blaby Westfield Hotel

This website says there is a restaurant and shows photos of breakfast and dining facilities. I only book hotels that do breakfast. The restaurant is closed and they do not do breakfast. This website misled me. As a result I needed to go out and purchase breakfast for my family. The receptionist I dealt with was very helpful. He should be commended for doing his best in difficult circumstances. 1. Three fresh large red/orange stains on the carpet. I came in for early check in. These stains were clearly from the night before. The cleaners had tried to clean them but they were still very visible. I asked the receptionist to send the cleaners back, which he said he did. Unfortunately, they couldn't get rid of the stains. 2. Food stuffs (crisps/similar) between the beds. 3. Coffee stains on the wall above the single bed. 4. The decorative cushions on the bed were insanitary. 5. Two of the four glasses provided were dirty. 6. One of the bedside lights had a missing bulb. 7. Broken TV. Missing power cable and remote control. Receptionist found us a new TV and explained it appeared previous guests appeared to have broken/stolen things. This should have been identified when the room was being prepared. I will not be returning.

Super friendly reception and courteous. Areas/ amenities unfortunately weren't available so we had to make our own arrangements. Having said this, the establishment has the potential to be 'first class' and we would willingly stay again.

It’s a no frills hotel. The guy at the desk was super nice & helpful. It’s a good area to walk to get what needed.
