ITC Ratnadipa, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Colombo

My stay at ITC Hotels was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail stood out. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the housekeeping team ensured that everything remained spotless throughout my stay. Amenities & Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful pool area. The attention to sustainability and eco-friendly practices was also impressive. Service & Hospitality: The staff went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. From concierge assistance to in-room services, their professionalism and warmth made a lasting impression. Room iPad wasn’t working. Sky swimming pool was covered both sides by glasses. Visibility is restricted and it wasn’t cleaned for some time. Gym is not big enough for the hotels price tag. There are better options for cheaper prices in Colombo.

Un vero 5 stelle in Sri Lanka. Hotel nuovissimo, posizionato in zona centralissima fronte mare; stanze spettacolari molto ampio, con terrazza vista mare o lago/città. Aree comuni notevoli . Piscina riscaldata vista mare; colazione molto molto varia.

Such a gorgeous hotel and perfect staff. The breakfast is amazing and the day spa and gym is outstanding

An amazing hotel with lots of amenities! Spacious rooms and balcony. Breakfast with lots of assorted food. At 5:30 pm free drinks/ alcohol with assorted snacks and a great time to watch the sunset

Impressive looking hotel. Room was really clean and comfortable. The hotel didnt seem fully open and only seemed to have high end restaurants. A few more relaxed coffe shops and casual cafés or restaurants would have been nice. Pool looks impressive, but didn't have many beds. Nice staff. Disappointed with the take away breakfast.

Place was decent but not worth the very high cost. Hotel wasn’t finished and construction work happening throughout our stay, Swimming pool at the top wasn’t finished, whilst on the pool on the 4th floor all you heard was construction and saw the workers looking at you. Food was okay but breakfast variety wasn’t suited to an international standard, very much lunch/dinner options at breakfast.

Massive new hotel in Colombo where we stayed a night before heading down to the beaches. Large comfortable room and one of the most impressive breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. Half of the hotel still under construction to finish it off so was some noise by the pool.

Fantastisk flott hotell med alle fasiliteter. Nydelige store rom med flott utsikt. Flott restaurant med alle mulige retter. Samme gjelder frokost som serveres samme sted. Nydelig bassengområde med bar. Veldig hjelpsomme og hyggelige ansatte. Hele hotellet er gjennomført med bruk av marmor og flotte materialer. Beliggenhet er med utsikt mot stranden og i samme område som flere andre flotte hoteller.

Absolutely wonderdul stay. We were well looked after by Kawisha, her team and all the staff at ITC. We felt so welcome by everyone. The amnities were amazing . Very clean hotel. The food is exceptional. Will be returning soon. Thank you for the wonderdul hospitality. Felts so home!

They were good in everything. Various variety of food, excellent service, cleaned room, shopping very easy, friendly staff.

The good: Staff very polite & energetic, the room is spacious and well thought through with ipad central controls..etc. The bad: Staff needs more professional training and learning the importance of follow through till the service is fulfilled without the guest having to remind. Few delays experience throughout the stay. The ugly: Was trying to book a dinner reservation for 25 people from about 6-8 weeks prior, the staff was unresponsive (basically silence, even when trying to call from the hotel). Also got locked out of the room for about an hour because the lock batteries had died! (after 4 months of hotel operation) and it took about 8 different people to finally get the door open and we having to cancel some of our meetings due to this delays. Was very unhappy! 25th floor had a very bad smell - as if you were right next to the infamous baira lake! Must also say, once the above was brought to the management notice our stay took a turn to the better and was fabulous from that point onwards.

the guy or the company who designed should be out of business. Even the expensive, bigger room had no drawers or any place to unpack your cloths, only hangers, so go ahead and hang your socks etc. or live out of suitcase. the TV doesn't work, phones do not work, terribly layout. coffee/tea is in a closet. The genius working for ITC will never see me at any ITC properties though all other hotels had a great service and layout, sadly, COLOBO KILLED IT.

Beautiful Room

Excellent new hotel with a great ocean view.

Everything was fine, It's a bit awkward when using the toilet because it's transparent glass, When my husband is taking a shower 🛁 he can see me when I was using the toilet, That's the only thing I struggled with, otherwise everything was fine,

Good hotel however our next door room had people in there partying and was too loud

I've stayed at hundreds of hotels throughout my life, and this might've been my most pleasant stay ever. The amenities are top notch, and the service level is impeccable. I can only imagine how much training must be required to have this incredible service level.

The stay was good. Service can be improved . The food is very basic . Nothing to be excited about . Other than that we didn’t face any issue . Staff is very friendly and go out of their way . S

We had a very good experience - all thanks to the Chef Chamoli who made us feel at home. The food was like a warm hug on a rainy day. Resident Manager Arjun Deep Shad made sure we were looked after and ensured we were safe in the uncertain times. The warmth and hospitality by him made the stay exceptional.

Great location but it was the staff at every point of the stay that made it extra special.

Room and amenities provided were great but service was seriously lacking here. We stayed for three nights and each morning during breakfast, my omelette order was completely forgotten. I asked three times for omelette and a green tea, and neither received both so I ended up going to the Galle Face Mall for breakfast instead. Second, we wanted to get a table at Yi Jing for dinner but was told to wait “at least 20 minutes” because they were “completely booked”, despite over half of the tables inside were empty. We waited for 20 minutes and not one staff member came back to check on us, so we left and went elsewhere. Was very disappointed because I was looking forward to dining here. Wait staff didn’t even ask if I stayed at the hotel as a guest, which is always top priority. Lastly, I asked a simple request at reception to add my name and my guest’s name on the invoice and they were totally confused. One receptionist then offered to do it but after waiting 30 minutes nobody came , so I asked them again (they forgotten) and was told they couldn’t do it at the end with no explanation given. I missed my uber which was waiting, staff clearly was in no hurry to assist me. It’s a simple request that other hotels have always done without issue. Staff is severely lacking training and needs to be trained better, because this kind of service will get them fired on day 1 if this was the USA. Just because the hotel recently opened, doesn’t mean staff should remain incompetent.

This is a great hotel. Good location with everything you need. It's next to a shopping mall and easy for Tuk Tuk and taxis Generally the service was excellent. Sometimes housekeeping a bit hit and miss but easily rectified Id stay there againbut

Very new hotel in area, and centrally located. Very good service from the hotel staff all around. Nice views of the Indian Ocean.

The buffet was amazing. Close to Galle face green and One Galle Face Mall. They have a luxury hour with drinks and snacks no children allowed. They have a place with children allowed but the food selection is very limited. This would be my negative feedback. My overall experience was great.

This hotel is a great place to stay in Colombo with easy access to major shopping areas. The breakfast buffet was excellent, so many choices w/ one of the best South Indian food. I would like to special thank to Roman and Anurudha from room service and Lasantha and Nilanka Janaka Kumara from the restaurant service. We loved the service and they did a great job! Thank you
