I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Crete. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel was beautifully designed, my room was comfortable and spotless, and the views were breathtaking. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was perfect for enjoying everything Crete has to offer. Every detail made my stay feel special. I highly recommend the InterContinental Hotel in Crete and would happily return!

Booked a King Premium but allocated a double double classic room which faced the next door hotel’s cafe. As a result we were unable to use balcony and had to keep curtains shut! Complained to reception who advised that hotel was full so could not move us until two days later. Subsequently given a King Premium room which was better but overlooked a building site! Still it was better than the first one but not what you expect of Intercons , I have stayed in IHG hotels all over the world and the rooms in this hotel were by far the worst . I would only consider staying here if you have a sea facing room on the front with a plunge if shared pool. Breakfast was ok but by day 3 of our 7 day stay there was a ‘technical’ problem in the kitchen and as a result they were unable to provide omelettes. Can only assume they lost the frying pan!!!

The hotel is beautiful but there is no proper beach close by so difficult with children as the pool was extremely cold and not heated. No one swam in it apart from the seagulls as it was so cold which was a shame as it was large and well positioned with sea views.

We loved our time at the IHG- Intercontinental Crete. It’s centrally located in Agios Nikolaos to great food and shops. The hotel has valet parking and it was very easy to get in and out quickly. The staff could not have been more pleasant. From the moment we arrived, they were very attentive and kind. The breakfast was phenomenal and included with out stay. This saved us time and money looking outside of the hotel for breakfast each day. The hotel restaurant and bar are great too. We spent each night having a delicious meal or drink at the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything to make our stay feel like home. We loved our time! 10/10
