Dejligt centralt hotel med kig til vandet (fra vores værelse). OK roligt om natten. Ingen faciliteter fx lounge miljø. TV virkede ikke, til gengæld tændte det sig selv midt om natten (ØV, vågnede!!). Betalte for parkering (offentligt) 6-7 min. gang fra hotellet.

Dejligt centralt hotel med kig til vandet (fra vores værelse). OK roligt om natten. Ingen faciliteter fx lounge miljø. TV virkede ikke, til gengæld tændte det sig selv midt om natten (ØV, vågnede!!). Betalte for parkering (offentligt) 6-7 min. gang fra hotellet.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le coeur de Lugano. Tout était Ok. Accueil sympathique. Parking à proximité avec un tarif intéressant proposé par l'hôtel + carte gratuite pour transport en commun et visites de sites. Je recommande cet hôtel sans problème.

Der lå ting under sengen fra andre gæster, hvilket ikke vidner om god rengøring. Morgenmaden var middel. Men absolut det minimale man vil forvente.

location is very good. 5 minutes from the lake, 9 minutes from the train, in the middle of many shops. Clean room and the fan was helpful. Overall very good and I would stay there again.

Schoon en centraal gelegen maar erg gedateerd qua voorzieningen zonder dat daar een bepaalde ‘gedateerde’ charme tegenover staat. Oude open kast zonder kleerhangers. Geen stopcontacten behalve die al gebruikt zijn voor tv en voor de oude ventilator die heel erg veel lawaai maakt. Het was heel warm, kamer niet fris te krijgen. Veel lawaai ook van straat.

Hotel in de winkelstraat van Lugano! Hotel ligt op een minuut lopen van boulevard van meer van Lugano. Kamer klein maar schoon,ok.Ontbijt viel mij wat tegen,te eenvoudig,koffie was wel heerlijk.

The reception staff was very friendly and waited for our arrival. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. It was a short 1-2 min walk to the main road where you can see their lake. Easy check-out where you can drop your keys. We would definitely stay here again!

Estuve en varias habitaciones durante mi viaje y todas cumplieron con lo necesario: limpieza, comodidad y buen trato. Hubo algunos detalles menores, pero nada que arruinara la experiencia. Una opción muy recomendable.

Great location! Very clean. Nothing fancy, but conveniently located and functional. Soap dispenser built into shower. Tub too small for a bath, but not a problem for us. High powered fan for hot days, no AC. Mattress ok for a couple of nights. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The property is very tired and in need of work. The furnishings are cheap & the rooms need decorating. The bathroom was particularly small with bared wires on the hairdryer.

Our room: Having to share a toilet room was not bad but this was NOT a hotel room - it was like a hostel room. For the price I was shocked. Tiny room - Bed crammed in one corner, sink and shower on one wall, a table and chair and tv Plus cabinet. No amenities like a blow dryer - I was glad they had soap. No AC (they did have an overhead fan) which was okay but the noise from the city could be heard at night. Would not recommend for this price.

Location is excellent and the manager was great to accommodate our request to change our room. The setup in this hotel was odd and two rooms had a sharing bathroom which was next to our room. Every time they used the bathroom we could hear the flushing and bathroom door. The second night the manager changed our room to different floor and we had a good night sleep.

It’s walkable, due to the slopes and stairs, should take the funicular or bus to hotel. Very old, limited supply. Our room is very small. Sink (in the room), toilet (with door) and bath area (with clear glass door) are separate. Space at end of bed not even big enough for a ck luggage to go through.

Nice big family room right on the shopping street. Everything looked newly maintained. No A/C - only portable one. So we slept with open windows. No problem with noise. Recommended.

Worst check on ever and hotels.com no help at all they had overbooked the hotel and even though we had paid and confirmed reservations from nov last year. The receptionist was so rude saying he couldn’t help us stating he wasn’t going to put himself on a cross for us!! Told us to get a refund and go find ourselves a room. They did give us alternative accommodation so far out of town and three hrs after our arrival. As I said disgusting service i have never been spoken to in such a rude manner and no regard for us at all

Mine was a late checking around 10pm , hotel team made it so convenient for me , given clear instructions and when some thing is not working they able to give alternative immediatey , always answered my phone and great location with fine dining options at late hour as well , room is very neat and have all the required amenities - keep up the good work

Location is outstanding and is in the middle of the old town within 10walk from the train station and a block form Lake Lugano. The check-in staff were very friendly and very helpful whenever we had questions. One thing that could be improved is to respond to customer issues. Our shower head fell and broke. We reported the issue and it wasn’t fixed for two days before we left. We basically used a hose for shower for a couple of days. I believe this is something simple that could be fixed relatively fast and it didn’t make sense it wasn’t fixed before we left. I would stay here again for sure.

Location is outstanding and is in the middle of the old town within 10walk from the train station and a block form Lake Lugano. Idéalement situé pour le Summer Jamboree on the Lake. Juste à côté du centre et du lac. Le personnel est très sympathique. L'hôtel est propre, correct et surtout d'un bon rapport-qualité-prix. C'est dans le centre donc ça peut être bruyant le matin et surtout le dimanche avec les cloches de l'église juste à côté. J'ai réservé une chambre sans WC mais avec douche. On n'a pas pu changer malheureusement parce que l'hôtel était plein, mais ça n'a pas été un grand problème au final. On n'y va pas pour le petit-déjeuner. C'est très basique.

… ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Strasse. Dort war es in der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag sehr laut. Auch war es im Hotel sehr ringhörig. Wie bereits geschrieben für mich stimmte das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis => mein Ziel war ein Platz zum Schlafen und das hat gepasst

Excellent séjour à Lugano. Hôtel magnifiquement bien situé et sympathique. Dans le centre, près du Lac, au milieu des restos. Loin du quartier Paradiso qui est le dortoir de la ville. Mais les suisses pratiquent des prix « indécents « . San Carlo échappe un peu à cette critique mais j’éviterai la Suisse chaque fois que possible.

Vi havde booket familieværelse til 4. Sindssygt varmt værelse uden afkøling/aircondition og ingen plads andet en de 4 senge. Dette ophold var dobbelt så dyrt som vores andre ophold, så forventede bedre standard end de andre ophold vi har booket, hvor der var aircondition og lille sofagruppe til familie på 4. Der lå ting under sengen fra andre gæster, hvilket ikke vidner om god rengøring. Morgenmaden var middel. Men absolut det minimale man vil forvente.

Great location. Breakfast included which was just ok. The WiFi is free but the wifi can be a little slow. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. The space is very small. No water given and the room was all little stuffy.

All the furniture and overall condition of the facility is below average. There is no Air conditioner in the rooms. Lugano is generally quite warm during summer months, the two nights we stayed at the facility were miserable. Breakfast is below average and no available at the time that was told to us. They were setting up breakfast 30 minutes after the time we were told breakfast will be ready. Overall avoid this place if you can.

Pretty good hotel in a great location. The price was right and in Lugano, we didn’t spend much time in the room. However, it was clean and everything worked. Plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. We had a room looking out over the street and enjoyed opening the windows and hearing the sounds of the town, but they weren’t bothersome. Not a luxury hotel, but this is a hotel that the masses should consider. It checks all of the boxes! Absolutely no complaints and the staff were very kind and helpful.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The spoke English which was helpful since we don't speak Italian. They had drinks available in the lobby for purchase and maps showed us where our location was on the map. Very helpful.Hotel is cute and charming basic, clean, there was a little wear visible around the bathroom trim but minimal. Hotel is in an excellent location near a store that sells groceries, clothing and other items. Near many restaurants and shops. A 5 minute walk from the lake. Highly recommend.
