Mitt første besøk i Madrid. Hostellet har en fin resepsjon med hyggelige verter. (engelsktalende) .Frokostsal med bibliotek og enkel men god frokost. Soverommet var lite, men godt nok for et par dager. Bad med dusj, rent og pent. Ligger i et hyggelig område med fine torv med mange koselige uteserveringer. Kort gangavstand til alle de kjente plassene. Velger dette hostellet også neste gang .

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful lobby and seating area. Room was very basic, window faced an interior courtyard so no view. And sound from the neighbors echoed like crazy. A/C was basically just blowing room temp. Also, not a hostel. No kitchen or shared spaces. Overall, hotel was nice room was basic.

I love this hotel! It is in Plaza Angel which is walking distance to everything, the art museums, Sol, Plaza Mayor etc. in Las Letras neighbourhood, a charming area full of shopping, bars and great restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely with a great lobby and clean comfortable rooms. The desk staff were always helpful and kind and I will always stay in this hotel when I am in Madrid!

The room is comfortable. Very very noisy and the ac doesn’t work. I called reception and was told that in November they turn it off and to open windows but street is very noisy and the room was very warm even if outside was chilly. The water changes temperature a lot so it was a fun shower.

The hotel is well centered in Madrid, 15min avarage walking distance from important cites. Our room was small but, the bathroom need to adjust the shower entrance. I almost can get in or get out of the shower. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast need a little more options.

Excellent customer service at the front desk. You need to return your key each time you exit. There was always an employee working the desk that was always friendly. Very central location. I walked to all the major sites and the metro.

There wasn’t anything good about the property apart from the location. They gave me small room and I had a booking for double room. Furniture conduction was horrible. Night staff promised me to change it next morning since I got there around 1 am, which was understandable. Next day staff who said could speak English and promised me to change it but never happened. Facilities are poor, very basic breakfast facility. Staff do not understand the English language and cannot resolve any issue you raise. Feel free to leave the hotel I was told. I didn’t want to stay but didn’t want spending time and more money finding a new hotel too since my my booking was for only 3 days. Manager’s attitude who was on shift was stunk. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and didn’t enjoy my stay at all. I felt very upset after having a conversation with that manager.

First, thank you for helping make my trip to Madrid a memorable one. Breakfast was very good, and was filling enough where I could get my sight seeing for the day done and then get lunch. The location of the hotel was perfect; just a 20 minute walk to Atocha Station and a 15 minute walk to the big museums like Thyssen, El Prado, and Reina Sofia; and from centers such as Sol and Plaza Mayor. No shortage of food places and a laundromat was conveniently located down the street. Service was attentive. Sadly, the European style toilets tend to jam and mine did—twice. But the front desk was helpful and was able to fix it swiftly. Once again, sorry about that. Hopefully I’ll be able to come back and visit soon. I miss it already.

My family and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the streets and the liveliness of the areas surrounding our property. The streets were very busy and nightlife was very pleasant.. shops opened late and it was very safe to walk around and see the city and shops. Staff was friendly and breakfast was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place for others to experience.
