Parking spaces are very tight Staff are good But only worry about what Noah’s stuff For example On check day on Sunday the fire alarm went off so myself and my 2 young kids evacuated. NO STAFF WERE OUTSIDE TO GUIDE AND HELP. fire truck showed up It was the toaster that set the alarm off Other guests saw us outside and told us we can go back in We got the lift back to level 4. After another guest got out at level 3 the lift appeared to stop working. No lights on button. Pressed th call button and could barely hear the automated response. No way to call reception to say the lift has stopped working and we are trapped. Two Very UPSET YOUNG KIDS. I ended up pulling the elevator doors open and we all jumped out. When informing the reception staff of this ordeal the response was the lift is owed by Otis and out of their control. Advised it usually take 20-30 mins for them to show up. Had we been trapped for the time I would have been absolutely livid. No compensation or enquiry if we were all okay. Definitely handled the responsibility to Otis. Very disappointing.

Property isn't modern but our room had been tastefully updated with modern bathroom, bed was comfy and view over the beach was stunning. We luckily got upgraded to an ocean view room, gotta be lucky sometime. Even if we had the cheaper view I would still regard as good value Free parking available onsite although the undercover behind gate was always full, the open air on an empty block next door did the job. Light rail terminus is 200 metres away. Would stay again. Staff were friendly.

No issues with room. Probably biggest positive is free parking and location. We left vehicle at Noah's and walked to most places. Walk and ferry to Stockton parkrun. Would stay again.

The hotel is situated on the beach and has a wonderful ice cream shop thats worth a visit opposite. We had inroom dining which was very good, and all staff were plesent. The hotel itself is older, it doesnt have thick walls so noise is easily heard. The beds are average and the room has dated decor. The bathroom had been renovated but the shower head had little pressure so was disappointing. The hotel has a very tight underground carpark which makes it hard to park, they also have an outdoor overflow but we needed secure parking

When we were booking a hotel on the beach for more than 1000 AUD for 3 nights, excluding breakfast, we really had some basic expectations e.g. in relation to the cleanliness. In the end, the experience was quite disappointing. It’s obvious that cleaning is not the hotel’s strongest points - there were unknown stains on the bedsheets, on the bathroom floor, on the chair next to the bed…. The door in the bathroom had some damage, air vents were dusty and the ancient alarm clock has not been dusted for ages, as well no manual was included to figure how this piece of history works. And don’t get me started on the fact that there was only one roll of toilet paper provided, which was obviously soaking wet prior to our arrival. When we exchanged it for a dry roll of toilet paper, we were quite disappointed to learn that it’s so paper thin, that you need to fold it at least four times to minimize the likelihood of a finger going through this thinnest paper in the universe. It would be great to be warned upfront, so that maybe we could bring our own toilet paper. But then again, for more than 1000 AUD for 3 nights, you kind of expect something that performs better than a paper tissue. There were a couple of other issues, but these were the main ones which really made us regret our stay. Great location, but that’s it.

This property is in a beautiful location right on the Newcastle Beach front. Accommodation is clean and quiet. Complimentary parking onsite is a big plus. The staff are helpful, pleasant and provide excellent service.

The rooms are very clinical - nothing luxurious, meets your basis needs. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Shower in the bathroom was clean - hot water was sporadic, either boiling or freezing. There is a glass window from the bathroom into the bedroom - while this allows you to see the views from the bathroom it does mean you can’t turn on the bathroom light at night without light streaming into the bedroom. Nice to have free onsite parking, although indoor parking was full and we had to park outside in the hotel’s external parking (but direct access to reception). Great location being 100m from Newcastle beach and an easy walk along the promenade to Nobby’s beach and the lighthouse (only open to public on weekends).

If you can guarantee you are getting the beach view room, this is the place to stay. If you don’t you are looking at a parking lot and probably stay somewhere cheaper. Overall the place was nice but without the ocean view I would skip it.

Fantastic location. Great bar. Firm mattress. No microwave. Lipton and Nescafé free beverages. Reasonably priced mini bar. Decor could use a refresh. Bathroom updated. If you wanted to sit on the balcony you had to hire the table from reception.

The Noah's complimentary guest wi-fi did not work. Lucky I travel with my own modem. I had a balcony room with sliding doors so it was breezy and light. Room service was about 20 minutes for breakfast and dinner and good catering both times. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is the thing here. Right on spectacular Newcastle Beach. You can take the children to the Canoe Pool for paddling and you can swim in the sea baths or go in for a dip. The Surf Lifesaving club five minutes away has bacon and egg rolls for breakfast and later on the cafe/restaurant opens. Huge treat. Turn out of Noah's and walk right, to find it - absolute oceanfront.

We had a lovely sea view room. The room was clean and we appreciated the daily turn down service. Unfortunately the beds in the room.were too soft and gave me bad back and neck pain. The air conditioner in the room was too loud and kept us awake in the night.

Loved nearly everything except loud humming noise all night. Not aircon Sounded like exhaust fan on high all night. Even though bed was very comfortable I took ages to get to sleep because of noise all night.

Stunning and very convenient location across the street from the beach. Excellent updated bathroom but out dated bedroom furniture. Prefer it that way though otherwise the cost would be much more expensive. Could not see the purpose of squeezing in a double bed and a single bed in the room though, in a booking for two people. Very nice and friendly staff.

The location is superb. The room clean and bed comfortable. We paid for an ocean view room. The view was amazing but..... the light above our bed didn't work, no tissues, no body wash just teenie tiny soaps, no balcony furniture, our TV kept turning off and the picture on the screen was terrible. The elevator we used broke down and we got stuck in the basement. The bar staff were too busy talking to their mates to serve us when we went for an afternoon drink. We were the only ones there but we waited 8 minutes after they finished their conversation to be served. This is the second time we have stayed here and are a little disappointed by our experience this time around.

The reception wasn't the most welcoming. But the lady we had when we were checking out was lovely. Housekeeping were also lovely. Perfect location, close to everything. We barely drove as there were tram lines nearby and you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Lovely place.

Charming hotel right across the road from the beach and sea baths. A highlight is the buffet breakfast behind plate glass windows overlooking the main beach. Away from the busy centre of town but I’m sure it gets busy enough around here during summer.

Our stay was great. Staff are very helpful and polite. Only disappointment was Breakfast. $32 / pp - Bacon was dry, not crispy, & near impossible to cut. Scrambled eggs were well over done. Appearance of the mushrooms was unappetising. Over priced for what was available and a very limited selection of fruit, considering in the middle of summer fruit in season. Try better…

We had a great experience. Scored a great price and then was offered a free upgrade on arrival. Staff were super friendly and the view was amazing! Dinning option downstairs was fantastic, with plenty of other options just a short stroll away. Parking was easy and convenient. Will definitely stay again!

Booked a city room but was upgraded to an ocean view which was much appreciated. Dinner ends too early but they tried and fitted us in and food was nice. BUT breakfast is awful - poor quality and limited selection not worth paying for. I’d stay again but would leave the hotel for breakfast.

This is an older style hotel but in an amazing location. Our room on the first floor overlooking the beach was small but clean and comfortable with a balcony where we could sit outside and watch the beach scene. Ice creamery across the road for an indulgent snack. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast catered for gluten free.

Staff seemed a little cold. Room was nice very good view. Buffet breakfast was extremely disappointing. Very little choice. Fruit not fresh. Coffee cold. Scrambled egg luke warm only. Mushroons were delicious. Dinnercwas very nice. Seafood chowder hit the spot. No crockery in our room and only 1 teaspoon. Overall it was a good stay but fir the price i expected a lot better.
