I booked and paid for a king bed but was given a queen bed. The staff told me it was a king bed.... no it wasn't, they need some lessons in bed sizes. The doona on the bed had dried blood on it. There was no where to put your bag and clothing except on the floor which wasn't that clean

The staff at Ibis Newcastle (Wallsend) are always friendly and helpful. Clean room, good A/C, fresh sheets and towels. Well worth the price, thanks.

Ok for a short stay if you don’t mind being in a small room. A bit noisy because the property is very close to the highway, but the price makes up for the noise.
