My husband and I stayed at Hotel Liautaud recently (7/6-7/9/26) after a wedding in Provence. We had a wonderful stay in Cassis and the staff, Batiste, Alicia, Lydia and Camille made our stay even more memorable. They were very professional, friendly and so helpful everyday- booking taxis, restaurants, providing beach towels and answering multiple questions (my husband had). Batiste even gave us a tour of Cassis culminating in spectacular views of the shore and harbor from the cliff tops. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Loved the roomy shower and the amenities welcoming us when we entered our room on the first day. I wish we stayed longer as Hotel Liautaud was a wonderful way to end our trip to the south of France. Just a lovely hotel that is super clean with fabulous staff and conveniently located right next to the harbor. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in Cassis. I hope to return !

The cafe attached to the hot8el was very nice. But extremely disappointed with the hotel. Given the price of the hotel we expected a much better experience. The breakfast was terrible. Notea good variety of fruit. The fruit they had was overripe or canned. They don't clean the tables after guests leave. Our room was never cleaned. We asked the housekeeper to come at 11 instead of 10 am when she arrived as we were still in the room. We returned at 2 pm and she had not cleaned it. On Saturday night there is a LOUD heavy rock band playing in the restaurant across the street until 1 am so we couldn't sleep. We requested a taxi 24 hours before we left for the train station but it was never called in. Stay at a hotel further away from the port. I'm sure they are better

I have traveled regularly for nearly three decades, and this is the first time I have ever written a hotel review. This particular stay, however, was truly exceptional. My experience at this hotel made my trip to Cassis incredibly special. It was pure magic from beginning to end and gave me a wonderful taste of what this breathtaking part of France has to offer. Every inch of the hotel was beautiful, thoughtful, and absolutely flawless. To top it off, the staff was among the most hospitable I have ever encountered. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was treated as though I had been a longtime VIP guest. Everyone was kind, gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, especially Camille and Jonathan. My apologies for not remembering everyone’s names, but I must say this was truly the finest hotel experience I have ever had. The entire staff was incredibly generous and made every effort to accommodate every possible request during my stay. I also noticed that they provided the same exceptional level of service to every guest, from the youngest to the not so young. Camille and Jonathan, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure I had the very best experience.
