We had a wonderful meal in the dining room. The outside terrace is lovely for an afternoon drink, the hotel is very charming, the bedrooms are very adequate and comfortable. Perhaps the bedrooms area, passageways, etc. are a little tired looking, but all in all we had a fabulous stay and will go again.

Hotel is really lovely, however, the Cottage room I stay dn had no Hotel Wi Fi that was usable, and no shower area. Shoer hose is attached to free standing bath in bedroom, which is just plain weird

We had an executive room. I would hardly call it executive, especially given the cheap toilet paper and tired decor. The worst thing was that there was absolutely no phone signal and the hotel free wifi would not connect on any of our 3 devices, so with no landline phone we were totally cut off from any outside contact while in our room. Sadly the receptionist’s response to this was total indifference.

On arrival to the bar area empty tables were full of glasses plates etc we had to move them ourselves to sit down. When checking in for dinner the young man questioned our booking and repeatedly asked my husband for his details while I explained it was under my name to which he was not interested and I found this very disappointing! Then he found our booking and laughed and said “ my bad “ I just needed to scroll up” at dinner we ordered bread and olives which didn’t arrive before our starters so we cancelled these items. the accommodation was lovely the food was lovely and the waiter at dinner was a credit to you .

Have stayed on several occasions, decent restaurant, bar and good parking. Rooms are pretty good, free Internet. No iron in room (just a heads up) A bit of lottery rooms wise so worth calling ahead if you're a light sleeper

Good value hotel in a super location next to Woburn Safari park. A great location for walks and visiting the park. Hotel comfortable however a few opportunities to upgrade rooms and consider customers experience from arrival. Hotel has added tables and chairs to courtyard for use during the day for drinks which is good however means when arriving you need to weave through tables with bags as they added too many, some noise on warm nights if sleeping near by. Stayed in cottage which was a great space however downstairs needed a bit of work to make smarter with better coordinated furniture, bed comfortable however being an old bard floorboards very noisy. Main bar was functional but lacking in character, with the original in my opinion nicer bar now closed for regular use. Staff friendly and good parking both in hotel and free local car park.

My stay was extremely disappointing. The bathroom had a duct that made a loud, disturbing noise both during showers and while trying to sleep. I recorded a video of the issue and shared it with the receptionist via AirDrop. Following this, I went for breakfast and ordered chopped avocado and eggs on toast. When I raised this with the waitress, she argued with me and condescendingly explained that avocados aren’t local and their freshness couldn’t be guaranteed. This was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was seated opposite the kitchen and witnessed one of the cooks eating while preparing food, touching his face and hair in between, and continuing to handle food without gloves or washing his hands. It was unhygienic and honestly ruined my appetite. The waitress eventually took away the avocado toast and offered an alternative, so I requested the full English breakfast instead. I still need to verify whether I was charged twice for the breakfast. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The bathrooms look outdated and unclean, and the carpets throughout the property appeared worn and dirty.

We stayed in a luxury suite and it was wonderful. A huge and very comfortable bed, seperate seating area, with great tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was super clean with a rolltop bath and walk in shower. We had food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning, and both were superb, with excellent service. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed for a night due to a 2 day fesitval nearby. The accomodation was clean and plesant. Sadly for us other guests was not concsious of the fact if you talk in the corridors at 1am it will distrub others. We also was on the ground floor in which our window faced the courtyard and so with guests up early or coming in early hours of the morning and talking this was a little disturbing. However, no fault to the staff or acutal accomodation

I stayed in one of the cottages. It was a very warm day and there was no air con / fan. The furniture / carpet was very dated. Bits of the bathroom also very dated. A lot of windows so tonnes of light gets in from sunrise, even with blinds / curtains closed. Tea making facilities were dirty, with cups / spoons looking like they hadn’t been washed. Property backed onto main road - very noisy. The staff are also very noisy in the morning with deliveries etc. Wouldn’t stay here again

This was my second visit and I had warm and friendly welcome from. reception staff. The room was large with a comfortable bed and great shower and lots of choice on the tea and coffee tray. My only small complaint was that some of the dusting had been overlooked. There was thick dust around the TV, and on the lamps, but apart from that it was a really great room. The food in the restaurant was amazing, genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had, and the service was fantastic.

Our budget room was small and dated but adequate. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but this was made up for by the quality of food in the restaurant and overall ambiance of the property and its superb location. I have stayed in a deluxe suite before, which I would have preferred but the hotel was full. Highly recommended

I normally really like this hotel, but since I last stayed here, the service is slower (despite ringing the bell several times there was no service on the front desk and I had to go searching through the hotel for a member of staff ) they’ve removed the EV charge point from the car park and taken the iron out of the room. Just a bit disappointing compared to previous stays.

Hotel is really lovely, fantastic location. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful but so hot unfortunately if you opened the window you got the giant kitchen extractor fan blowing into the room. Other than that great place to stay

We’ve stayed a number of times at the hotel and we enjoy the experience each time. The standard rooms are great but a little tight for space . Overall it works well for us from a point of view of location and requirements.

Great little stay as we had a business meeting in the area the next day. My partner felt unwell during his stay and the lovely blonde gentleman on reception was extremely helpful offering us ginger tea and ginger biscuits to help settle his stomach, it was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend.

Quite a disappointing stay, we don't go away that often and always look forward to it. The meal at night was really nice but the breakfast was very poor, there was very little choice on the Continental side and only sourdough bread which my Husband does not like, we ordered our cooked breakfast and waited 40 mins for it, apparently due to a large party! We certainly won't be returning

I normally really like this hotel, but since I last stayed here, the service is slower (despite ringing the bell several times there was no service on the front desk and I had to go searching through the hotel for a member of staff ) they’ve removed the EV charge point from the car park and taken the iron out of the room. Just a bit disappointing compared to previous stays.

This was my second visit and I had warm and friendly welcome from. reception staff. The room was large with a comfortable bed and great shower and lots of choice on the tea and coffee tray. My only small complaint was that some of the dusting had been overlooked. There was thick dust around the TV, and on the lamps, but apart from that it was a really great room. The food in the restaurant was amazing, genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had, and the service was fantastic.

Booked this hotel as it was close to Woburn safari where we were visiting. We were made to feel welcome tge minute we entered reception and throughout our stay the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we required, the hotel overall was very clean and food was cooked to order and very nice.

Good value hotel in a super location next to Woburn Safari park. A great location for walks and visiting the park. Hotel comfortable however a few opportunities to upgrade rooms and consider customers experience from arrival. Hotel has added tables and chairs to courtyard for use during the day for drinks which is good however means when arriving you need to weave through tables with bags as they added too many, some noise on warm nights if sleeping near by. Stayed in cottage which was a great space however downstairs needed a bit of work to make smarter with better coordinated furniture, bed comfortable however being an old bard floorboards very noisy. Main bar was functional but lacking in character, with the original in my opinion nicer bar now closed for regular use. Staff friendly and good parking both in hotel and free local car park.

My stay was extremely disappointing. The bathroom had a duct that made a loud, disturbing noise both during showers and while trying to sleep. I recorded a video of the issue and shared it with the receptionist via AirDrop. Following this, I went for breakfast and ordered chopped avocado and eggs on toast. I was served blackened avocados that were either tasteless or spoiled. When I raised this with the waitress, she argued with me and condescendingly explained that avocados aren’t local and their freshness couldn’t be guaranteed. This was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was seated opposite the kitchen and witnessed one of the cooks eating while preparing food, touching his face and hair in between, and continuing to handle food without gloves or washing his hands. It was unhygienic and honestly ruined my appetite. The waitress eventually took away the avocado toast and offered an alternative, so I requested the full English breakfast instead. I still need to verify whether I was charged twice for the breakfast. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The bathrooms look outdated and unclean, and the carpets throughout the property appeared worn and dirty.

I loved the interior decor of the hotel and the ambience. The rooms were in good condition for the age of the property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful but at times there were not enough especially at breakfast time. The breakfast choices were a bit similar with brioche buns or sourdough on most dishes making it hard to choose if bread is not your thing.

A lovely pub in the quaint historic village of Woburn with excellent accommodation. We stayed in one of the outside deluxe studios. Huge comfortable bed and great bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant where you couldnt beat the Sunday roast. Service was excellent.

We stayed in a luxury suite and it was wonderful. A huge and very comfortable bed, seperate seating area, with great tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was super clean with a rolltop bath and walk in shower. We had food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning, and both were superb, with excellent service. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a race at Silverstone, which is a short drive away. For some reason we had an accessibility room, and the bathroom was a little weird. The drain made strange noise, but otherwise everything was fine. There are some nice small shops and restaurants withing walking distance. Plenty of room in the car park.

Really nice hotel, check in was awesome, one of my pet hates is checking in to a hotel and it is as if you hadn't pre-booked and you are stood there for five minutes watching the receptionist tapping away at their keyboard and printing papers for you to sign and eventually printing your key card, at the Woburn I walked into the reception and told them my name, they welcomed me and passed me the key! Perfect!!!
