It's a beautiful property, the staff are incredible, and the location is absolutely perfect. While the room we stayed in had tons of space and was a lot larger by typical Japan hotel standards, I found it to be a little dated. For the cost of the hotel room, it was disappointing to know that to use the gym there was an additional fee --It it should be included. The daily fee for the gym was way higher than a pass for the Gold's Gym across the street. The restaurants in the hotel are also incredibly pricey. So we chose to eat elsewhere.

Overall we had a nice stay at Hotel Hankyu. The rooms were nice but did need a little TLC. Be aware that there is a cost to use the fitness center and it’s not convenient. You need to first go down to the check in area to sign paperwork and get an access card before heading to the gym. Took about 10-15 minutes. The fee is for both the fitness center and spa but only includes one visit. I don’t mind paying extra for the spa but thought it was odd to have to pay for the fitness center. Nice location in Hankyu.

Breakfast excellent. Although had to wait to be seated even at 7.30am. Room was big and view was great. However, facilities are dated and I was bitten 3 times during the night by a bug/insect on my lower leg. Considering the cost (over 600 dollars) for 2 nights, it is clearly not worth the money. In addition, I was told to pay 5500 yen to use gym/pool facilities, which was a joke considering it’s a 5 star hotel.

Overall very clean and comfortable. Room is a great size, which is unusual for Japan. Bed is comfortably firm. Housekeeping is great, except that they change the towels everyday, even though I didn't indicate I want to change (I wanted to be more eco-friendly). I am thankful for the cleanliness but it's just not very eco-friendly. There were two things that surprised me: 1. The lobby was not on the ground floor (had to take escalator to the lobby) and 2. The furniture/furnishing is a bit dated, which was not apparent in the pictures online (my personal preference is for a more modern design). But otherwise, no issues staying in this hotel.

체크인 후 1시간 정도 지나서 이불 상태가 청결하지 못한 것을 발견했습니다. 이불 안쪽이 지저분하게 오염되어 있었는데(아마 바퀴자국 같습니다.) 해당 사실을 컨시어지에 알렸더니 하우스키퍼가 오후3시에 퇴근해서 이불 교체가 안된다는 말을 들었습니다. 제 짧은 영어실력 때문에 내용이 전달이 안된듯 싶어서 다시 말을 했더니, 한국인 스텝에게 전화하라고 할테니 조금만 기다려라고 안내하더군요. 12분을 기다렸으나 프론트데스크에서 아무런 연락이 없어서 직접 프론트데스크로 가서 상황을 설명하고, 이불을 교체 받았습니다. 5성급 호텔이지만, 신속한 대처를 하지 못한 점이 매우 유감스럽고, 손님을 받기 전에 룸 컨디션을 체크하지 못한 점도 매우 아쉽습니다. 지저분한 이불을 덮고 1시간이나 있었다니 매우 기분나쁘더라고요. 다만, 오사카 최고의 전망과 나쁘지 않은 룸컨디션, 5성급 호텔이지만 합리적인 가격이라 어느정도 만족하긴 했지만.. 한큐인터내셔널에서 5박이나 했음에도 제대로 된 서비스를 못받은 점은 오랫동안 마음에 남을 것 같아요!

Staff was very courteous and our room on the 32nd floor was well appointed with great view. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars except there was a mix up at check in. We checked in after the appointed 3PM time and was told our room was not ready yet. As a result we had to wait in the lobby for another half hour. Would not have been a big deal except I was traveling with elderly parents and they were exhausted. The staff was very apologetic and I’m sure they tried their best to get us the room ASAP, however it still left a bad first impression.

Rooms are huge and views amazing. The bathroom is the largest I’ve seen in Japan. Very nice and super fancy but slightly dated. Still very impressive, incredibly attentive guest services and reasonably priced considering the level of service and room space. My only regrets were not being able to book the buffet and only going to the pastry counter only once. They had some amazing pastries at reasonable prices.

The room was spacious with fantastic view. Bathroom was wonderful with tub that looked over Osaka skyline. Some parts are slightly dated, but my entire party (6 people) thought it added charm. Each had a different room and everyone was pleased and comfortable. A very good stay in Osaka with a great price!

Room on 32nd floor was spacious and airy with amazing views over Osaka. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The shower was excellent. Our only negatives would be the beds are quite hard and the soundproofing is not amazing. Sadly the guest above us seemed to be stomping around the entire time he was in his room.

We had a great stay at Hotel Hankyu International. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The concierge helped us send our largest pieces of luggage to Tokyo so we could travel light for a long journey with many train transfers to Hakone. Though breakfast wasn't included, we were in a good location to pick up coffee and whatever else we wanted. The beds were fantastic as was the layout of the room and all the included amenities (oversize bathtub, quality skin and hair care products, comfortable seating area with views of the skyline from the 30th floor, complimentary water that was replaced daily, etc.). The restaurants inside the hotel were among the standout meals we enjoyed in Osaka. The proximity to transportation made it a direct place to take day trips from. We highly recommend this hotel!

Nicht freundliches und sehr kühles Personal. Wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt und waren froh als wir ausgecheckt haben. Offenbar haben wir 2 verschiedene Zimmerkategorien gebucht, obwohl in der Beschreibung genau das gleiche stand. Daher wussten wir davon nichts. Mann hat uns darüber nicht informiert und das Zimmer wegen nur 6000 Yen als Differenz blockiert. Als uns mitgeteilt wurde was das Problem ist konnten wir bleiben und haben natürlich die Differenz akzeptiert zu bezahlen. Dass ein Kind bei der Hitze draussen sich auf einem Hocker an der Rezeption hinsetzt ist nicht verwunderlich. Diese sind jedoch nicht dafür vorgesehen, was er nicht wusste. Anstatt uns freundlich darüber zu informieren wurde mein Sohn an der Schulter genommen und weggezogen. So ein Benehmen bei ansonsten sehr freundliches Land ist nicht akzeptabel. Es gibt noch andere Dinge. Lassen wir das aber dabei. Das ist meine erste negative Bewertung bei sehr viele Hotelbuchungen.

If I would rate their service out of 10, I would give them a 20 because I was that satisfied. I work in Las Vegas and have been around the customer service industry and I felt Hotel Hankyu International would blow any of the other hotels out of the water with their level of service.

The hotel was amazing. We had a large comfortable room with beautiful city view. This hotel is within walking distance (about 15 mins) of Umeda Hankyu and JR station. It's super convenient with a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was very, very excellent especailly, the western style breakfast as far as quantity and quality. Excellent say.

This is an wonderful hotel with amazing staff! From check in to check out and everything in between, staff were incredibly helpful with finding restaurants, Tenjin matsuri parade routes and firework location. A special thanks to Makino (at the reception/front desk area) for finding a bar that was open (hotel bar is closed on Sunday) for us and even going above and beyond to walk us there so we didn’t get lost. Breakfast (eggs benedicts) and dinners (omakase sushi) was delicious and reasonably priced for the high quality. My family and I will definitely be visiting this hotel in the future. Vi trivs alltid på Hankyu International. Ett extremt prisvärt lyxhotell med femstjärnig service. Stora rum med fin utsikt. Rummet vi bodde i denna gång skulle nog föreställa ett snäpp över de vi bott i tidigare men jag uppskattade inte riktigt estetiken med mörkare väggar och vit skinnsoffa som kändes lite tacky. Rummen i lägre prisklass har finare inredning. Det finns ingen bufféfrukost men både den japanska och västerländska à la carte-frukosten är mycket bra. Vi hade bråttom till ett tåg på morgonen och uppskattade att vi kunde få frukosten serverad på rummet utan extra kostnad.

Das Haus ist schon etwas älter, aber das ist völlig in Ordnung. Lediglich das Frühstück ist stark verbesserungsfähig. 9 Gedecke bei einer Zimmeranzahl von 160+ kann nicht funktionieren. Wir wurden 2 mal mit einer inakzeptablen Wartezeit abgewiesen. Das ist extrem schade. Auch die Auswahl sollte verbessert werden. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, nochmals buchen würde ich das Hotel aber nicht, zumindest nicht zu diesem doch sehr gehobenen Preis.
