Located near metro stations and lots of restaurants, shopping and attractions in Osaka. The hotel is a bit on the older side, but otherwise clean and good to stay in. Onsite laundry is free. Vacuum packing for clothes also free. Guest lounge has free food and drinks (including wine, beer and sake).

Great hotel, the lounge is a welcome bonus, with a variety of soft and alcoholic drinks available between 2pm and 10pm, whiskey, vodka, margarita mix etc. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Don't forget to put your request for room cleaning on the door! Free washer and dryer is very useful. Walkable to everything dōtonbori has to offer.

Amenities are great. I especially like the free laundry and lounge access. The laundry is 24:7 and unlimited they also have option to compress your laundry or plushies to give more room in your luggage. You can sit in the laundry room and enjoy some hot drinks while you wait. The location is perfect it is inside the shopping district so it is close to the shops restaurants etc the breakfast buffet is amazing hands down lots of great options both Eastern and western. The rooms are cozy. The rooms aren’t very new but well kept. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Smack bang in the hart of Namba/Dotonbori. A real sensory overload. with loud pachinkos, stores, eateries. An amazing Osaka experience. Hotel is a short walk (about 150m?) from the Namba station, so getting around is a breeze. Room while a bit dated and could do with a renovation, was comfortable, clean and serviced daily. Breakfast gets very busy, and if you arrive at 8 to 9am, expect to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for a table. They have a ticket system and you can wait in the complimentary lounge area for a bit. Breakfast options were good, obviously not much halal but you get by with non meat options such as eggs, salads, cereals, fruits and some breads. The free laundry room was a huge help (tip: dont go between 9 and 11pm, busy period) has a neat washer, drier and clothing compressor. For muslim tourists, the area is good and walkable with several halal restauraints all within a 5 to 10m walk away. Osaka is the foodie capital of japan. And you'll find it a challenge to try out all the halal restaurants. Because you're in the heart of Namba, everything is walkable, the various shopping streets and arcades, dotonbory canals etc. Omeda is a short metro ride away and good to spend a day exploring and doing the viewing deck. This hotel also does the luggage transfers seamlessly. The complimentary lounge was a nice suprise. Free tea/coffee/soft drinks (and alcohol if you prefer) along with a little pancake station and various toppings.

Love the hotel so much I will stay again. Location links you almost everywhere. Dotonburi, food and train station. Brilliant facilities such as washing machine, Yamato luggage transfer and breakfast. Only qualm is a taxi is unable to stop directly outside the hotel so if you have huge luggages that will be an issue. About 5 minutes walk from a drop off point. 10 minutes walk from train station.

Location was good, right in the heart of Namba and there's a Lawson right downstairs. Hotel comes with a lounge with free flow drinks and snacks for all hotel guests, there's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, as well as a vacuum pack machine so ensure that you shop to your heart's content. The only drawback is it does not come with a driveway so if you arranged for transport, you have to walk out to the main road.

Great location near the subway/ train stations, most of the purchase spot and attractions. The 2pm~10pm free pancake & drink put this hotel up an level especially for family trip. Kids really love it, also great in summer to have a rest in the middle of the day.

The good: the staff were friendly. Especially at breakfast. Laundry was awesome. The bad:The room was dirty looking. There was stains on the sheets and some dried food on the ground from a past guest. The carpets didn’t look great. Check in screens weren’t working so the pre check in process didn’t really mean much. On the way out, I asked to go to the lounge to get some water for my son, it was closed but it was just water for a kid, the front desk said I can’t go to the lounge but directed me to the vending machine.

I am here for a 4 night stay and honestly wish I had known more before booking. The location is convenient, but unfortunately the condition of the room has made it hard to enjoy the stay. The carpet feels very old and extremely worn it gives a damp and uncomfortable feeling, and doesn’t seem well maintained. There s also a noticeable musty odor throughout the room that hasn’t gone away which really affects the comfort level. It doesn’t match the photos or expectations for the price paid. I tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but between the smell, the aging furnishings, and the overall lack of cleanliness, it’s been disappointing and uncomfortable so far. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope management takes this seriously this property has potential, but the current condition makes it difficult to recommend or return.

Prefect location, walking distance to shops, restaurants. Love the free drink and snack in lounge area, love free laundry, and the convenience of currency exchange in the lobby, luggage transfer. But hate the fact that the hotel bathroom are so gross, mold everywhere in the showers area, I don’t how the staff missed it or they don’t care, it everywhere, there even lipstick stain on the window curtain, so disgusting, I’m sure other things are dirty in the room. Other than complaints about the room itself, everything else is great

Con Breakfast area small. At basement, low ceiling. Many guests had to queue for very long to get in (30mins). There was one day where they had to extend bf hour due to pax not able tonget a table by breakfast closing time. Breakfast seletion few. Not many item for selection. Even for Japanese breakfast, the selection is limited. Room clealiness generally ok, however I found clipped finger nail on carpet. Housekeeping did not do a thorough vacuming! Room configuration for 3 pax is odd. One pax had to sleep at odd position beside the double bed.. small room Pro plus is the location. Right at shoping street and connected underground to Nipponbashi station. Laundry & lounge area is a blessing. Laundry area is beautifully furnished with free washer and dryer. Laounge provides free flow coffee soft drinks , nuts and chips till 10pm. Would be great if they can extend for an hour as generally people stream back to hotel around that hour close to 10pm.

The perfect location for a tourist. You can tell the hotel is going through renovations. The lobby, complimentary lounge, laundry room, and buffet restaurant were sparkling new. Our room was very tired. I booked a non smoking room and it did not smell like smoke inside my room, but the hallways smelled like smoke. When I asked the front desk, The gal very kindly said I was in a mixed floor so it could smell like smoke so just make sure to keep my door closed…hmmm, not the response I expected. This sounds strange, but my room seemed clean as per Japanese standards, despite the fact that the carpet was very worn and looked dirty. The carpet in the hallway was disgusting. The walls in our room were a dirty yellow with tons of black marks from people hitting it with their luggage because the rooms are very small. The third floor carpets and doors looked very new, so hopefully they are doing a refresh. Would I stay here again? Not sure, the location, breakfast, laundry, and included lounge made the tired room bearable. There is no service in the hotel though. It’s self everything. No bell desk, no concierge. U don’t even get your room cleaned or fresh towels unless you specially request it.

Ótima localização, quartos confortáveis. Limpeza razoável- quartos com carpetes um pouco sujos. Café da manhã razoável mas com fila de espera de 20 minutos para entrar no salão de refeições. Lounge com oferta de bebidas durante a tarde. Check in e out muito simples e rápido.

The staff was amazing, what ruined the stay we the actual hotel. The bed was super hard, in contrary to other TikTok the rooms were super smal and the air conditioning didn’t work. When I called down using the phone in the hallway because there is no phone for the rooms to communicate with front desk they said they couldn’t do anything but I could open the window which didn’t really offer much help. The hotel is in a convenient location and the breakfast was really good. But we wouldn’t stay

Stayed in the premier room with 4 beds. Room was incredible, very new, high end appliances, super clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Lots of space in the toom for all 4 of us.

Smack bang in the hart of Namba/Dotonbori. A real sensory overload. with loud pachinkos, stores, eateries. An amazing Osaka experience. Hotel is a short walk (about 150m?) from the Namba station, so getting around is a breeze. Room while a bit dated and could do with a renovation, was comfortable, clean and serviced daily. Breakfast gets very busy, and if you arrive at 8 to 9am, expect to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for a table. They have a ticket system and you can wait in the complimentary lounge area for a bit. Breakfast options were good, obviously not much halal but you get by with non meat options such as eggs, salads, cereals, fruits and some breads. The free laundry room was a huge help (tip: dont go between 9 and 11pm, busy period) has a neat washer, drier and clothing compressor. For muslim tourists, the area is good and walkable with several halal restauraints all within a 5 to 10m walk away. Osaka is the foodie capital of japan. And you'll find it a challenge to try out all the halal restaurants. Because you're in the heart of Namba, everything is walkable, the various shopping streets and arcades, dotonbory canals etc. Omeda is a short metro ride away and good to spend a day exploring and doing the viewing deck. This hotel also does the luggage transfers seamlessly. The complimentary lounge was a nice suprise. Free tea/coffee/soft drinks (and alcohol if you prefer) along with a little pancake station and various toppings.

The perfect location for a tourist. You can tell the hotel is going through renovations. The lobby, complimentary lounge, laundry room, and buffet restaurant were sparkling new. Our room was very tired. I booked a non smoking room and it did not smell like smoke inside my room, but the hallways smelled like smoke. When I asked the front desk, The gal very kindly said I was in a mixed floor so it could smell like smoke so just make sure to keep my door closed…hmmm, not the response I expected. This sounds strange, but my room seemed clean as per Japanese standards, despite the fact that the carpet was very worn and looked dirty. The carpet in the hallway was disgusting. The walls in our room were a dirty yellow with tons of black marks from people hitting it with their luggage because the rooms are very small. The third floor carpets and doors looked very new, so hopefully they are doing a refresh. Would I stay here again? Not sure, the location, breakfast, laundry, and included lounge made the tired room bearable. There is no service in the hotel though. It’s self everything. No bell desk, no concierge. U don’t even get your room cleaned or fresh towels unless you specially request it.

체크인때 카운터는 한국인이 제일 친절하고 적극적이었음. 나머지 교통,위치,근처도 모두 최고였음. 조식도 만족스러웠음. 청소기준도 뚜렸했고 짐을 미리 맡기는 곳도 잘 갖추어져있음. 호텔 인아웃할때 로비가 고급스러워서 만족스러움. 다만, 객실의 경우 옆 건물 배관뷰라서 조금 별로였음. 그리고 창문을 열수가 앖어서 조금 아쉬웠음. 그외에 모든 부분이 좋았음. 조식포함으로 꼭 예약하셈. 만족스러웠음

after we had checked out. and were waiting in the lobby prior to us leaving the hotel for the airport we had asked the front desk personnel them to get us hot water for our thermos the gentleman told us no. Now we always stay their 2x a year and 2x while were are traveling around Osaka. The gentleman was not accomodating at all. leaving my husband extremely perturbed and we will probably no longer be staying or recommending our friends for this hotel we will be gladly be staying at the Swiss Otel namba. We always feel welcome and treated properly without having to pay also for an extended time for checkout.

The room was extremely dated. Carpet and bedding cover was old. The walls were covered in scuff marks. There were cracks in the walls and along the floor near the tub. There was minimal interaction with the staff, they prefer contactless so they ask you check in via QR code and drop your key in a box to check out. The location was great and the hotel did have good amenities like a free lounge open from the afternoon to night and a laundry room .

The front staff's English was very poor, so there was a difficulty in communicating. In the case of consecutive staying, I fully understand the system that requires cleaning requests to receive cleaning services, but consumable services such as towels and mineral water should be provided even if there is no separate cleaning request.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Hotel was clean, comfortable, with laundry lounge and another separate lounge with snacks and drinks. Great location with friendly staff who responded to my many queries regarding luggage forwarding and nearby amenities before my stay. Special kudos must be given to their team who helped me hunt for and retrieve a precious left-behind toy and forwarded it to my next location. 10/10 will stay at this hotel again!

We loved that Namba Oriental Hotel is just a 5 minute walk to everything we need; the Namba Nankai Station, the Osaka Metro, to get to the Medosuji line, to get to Umeda or Tenoji. The Takashimaya and Major Department Stores for High End Luxury Shopping is just around the corner. Ebisu Basu Suji is just next door, and Dotonbori is just a crosswalk away. Perfect hotel as far as location if one wants to stay in NAMBA! The Bloomfield dining area is lovely. The Variety of food is plentiful! The STAFF is excellent, hands down! The amenities like the guest lounge, the laundry lounge, the luggage storage, the Welcome Patio, THEY ARE ALL A BIG PLUS for this hotel! The Room we stayed in was a double twin room, and was spacious for 2 adults. We understand that the hotel is undergoing renovation, we wish them all the best! Will definitely stay here again. It's a hidden gem! The location is discreetly tucked away. One will not notice it's there. For us, it is part of the charm. ❤️❤️❤️

Namba Oriental Hotel was recommended by my sister’s family. It is conveniently located near metro subway line, it had wide variety of shopping and food options nearby, although a very busy night life in neighborhood; the hotel rooms were quiet and secure. They had English speaking staff that made check in easy. They provided good quality toiletry products. They also provided free self service laundry machines that helped save money and a clothes vacuum press to help with packing suitcases. Their staff also helped with forwarding large luggage bags to our next hotel and had a self service storage room for our extra baggage so we could continue explore neighborhood with ease and comfort after check-out.

Ótima localização, quartos confortáveis. Limpeza razoável- quartos com carpetes um pouco sujos. Café da manhã razoável mas com fila de espera de 20 minutos para entrar no salão de refeições. Lounge com oferta de bebidas durante a tarde. Check in e out muito simples e rápido.

Great accommodation! Only a few minutes walk from the train station, made our lives so much easier. Especially on the day of check out with all the heavy luggage, the walk to train station was easy (nicely paved road, don’t event have to cross pedestrian road/ the street). So much pharmacies nearby (great if you need to haul makeup/ supplement/ medicines), loads of restaurants to choose from nearby as well (sushi, ramen, bar, coffee house, meat bbq and so much more!) 10/10 would recommend and return again. However, it’s just missing a gym room, everything else is great value for money.

Love the hotel so much I will stay again. Location links you almost everywhere. Dotonburi, food and train station. Brilliant facilities such as washing machine, Yamato luggage transfer and breakfast. Only qualm is a taxi is unable to stop directly outside the hotel so if you have huge luggages that will be an issue. About 5 minutes walk from a drop off point. 10 minutes walk from train station.

Location was good, right in the heart of Namba and there's a Lawson right downstairs. Hotel comes with a lounge with free flow drinks and snacks for all hotel guests, there's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, as well as a vacuum pack machine so ensure that you shop to your heart's content. The only drawback is it does not come with a driveway so if you arranged for transport, you have to walk out to the main road.
Location was good, right in the heart of Namba and there's a Lawson right downstairs. Hotel comes with a lounge with free flow drinks and snacks for all hotel guests, there's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, as well as a vacuum pack machine so ensure that you shop to your heart's content. The only drawback is it does not come with a driveway so if you arranged for transport, you have to walk out to the main road.

The hotel is very good. The neighborhood is noisy but you can't hear anything from your room. Super close to subways and many places to eat. The only thing I didn't like very much is that it's not accessible by car . It's in a closed street where cars are not permitted , you have to pull your suitcase (in my case were heavy and had more than one). Other than that I'd recommend this hotel. The room was quite big .

The only thing I didn't like very much is that it's not accessible by car . It's in a closed street where cars are not permitted , you have to pull your suitcase (in my case were heavy and had more than one). Other than that I'd recommend this hotel. The room was quite big .

Namba Oriental Hotel is in the middle of it all in Osaka. Many dining and shopping options, few steps away from the train station, and within walking distance to Dotombori. Our room was small but clean. The room had a portable air conditioner which was great since it was hot and humid outside, and the toilet had bidet, seat warming accouterments. Guests can use the washer and dryer free of charge, and the breakfast was awesome with American and Japanese varieties. I would highly recommend staying at this property when in Osaka.

Smack bang in the hart of Namba/Dotonbori. A real sensory overload. with loud pachinkos, stores, eateries. An amazing Osaka experience. Hotel is a short walk (about 150m?) from the Namba station, so getting around is a breeze. Room while a bit dated and could do with a renovation, was comfortable, clean and serviced daily. Breakfast gets very busy, and if you arrive at 8 to 9am, expect to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for a table. They have a ticket system and you can wait in the complimentary lounge area for a bit. Breakfast options were good, obviously not much halal but you get by with non meat options such as eggs, salads, cereals, fruits and some breads. The free laundry room was a huge help (tip: dont go between 9 and 11pm, busy period) has a neat washer, drier and clothing compressor. For muslim tourists, the area is good and walkable with several halal restauraints all within a 5 to 10m walk away. Osaka is the foodie capital of japan. And you'll find it a challenge to try out all the halal restaurants. Because you're in the heart of Namba, everything is walkable, the various shopping streets and arcades, dotonbory canals etc. Omeda is a short metro ride away and good to spend a day exploring and doing the viewing deck. This hotel also does the luggage transfers seamlessly. The complimentary lounge was a nice suprise. Free tea/coffee/soft drinks (and alcohol if you prefer) along with a little pancake station and various toppings.

Con Breakfast area small. At basement, low ceiling. Many guests had to queue for very long to get in (30mins). There was one day where they had to extend bf hour due to pax not able tonget a table by breakfast closing time. Breakfast seletion few. Not many item for selection. Even for Japanese breakfast, the selection is limited. Room clealiness generally ok, however I found clipped finger nail on carpet. Housekeeping did not do a thorough vacuming! Room configuration for 3 pax is odd. One pax had to sleep at odd position beside the double bed.. small room Pro plus is the location. Right at shoping street and connected underground to Nipponbashi station. Laundry & lounge area is a blessing. Laundry area is beautifully furnished with free washer and dryer. Laounge provides free flow coffee soft drinks , nuts and chips till 10pm. Would be great if they can extend for an hour as generally people stream back to hotel around that hour close to 10pm.

Le restaurant du petit déjeuner n’est pas du tout adapté au nombre de client et il faut prendre un tiquet et attendre jusqu’a 20mn pour avoir une table 1 seule machine à café et ils ferment à 9h30 pour rentrer au restaurant C’est la première fois dans tous mes voyages que je vis une telle situation

Great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and enjoyed having scent options for laundry as well as coffee while you wait. Spacious and comfortable rooms, and very nice bathroom amenities. FYI for non-smokers! If you happen to book a smoking room, the entire floor for those rooms smell and are a little dilapidated, we found some ash stains on the carpet and our luggage has picked up the tobacco smell as well, so be aware in case that might bother you. Aside, we had a very pleasant stay and I would stay again if I were to come back to Osaka!
