A 5 star experience all round. The hotel is so well located for everything in Tallinn. The spa is fantastic and complimentary. The staff are friendly and helpful, mini bar is great and the beds are SO comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, spa with sauna and steam room to relax after a long day of walking in town. Central location to restaurants and museums. Loved our stay there.

Great spot in old Tallinn just around the corner from the Town Square. The sauna is complete with a pool, hot tub, steam room and traditional sauna. Beds were very comfortable and pillows can be individualized. Super stay!

A lovely hotel in an old building - the facilities needed some work - the steam room and hot tub weren’t working. The bed was comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet. Great location. The woman working at the spa was really unfriendly and unhelpful while the rest of the staff was great. They don’t have an ala carte breakfast menu we learned the hard way after we got the bill for breakfast. I was charged 25€ for 1 poached egg. Yikes.

Amazing location in the middle of Old Town and we had a blast overall. Hotel felt a little run down and out of date. Cleanliness was not up to standard and the 5* rating must've been inflated. Given the price it was still value for money, but both the overall standard and cleanliness needs to improve. SPA looks big in photos, but in reality was very small. A jacuzzi for 2-3 people, 5 beds and the only hot sauna could seat maybe 5 people. With its reasonable priced rooms I'd still recommend, but don't expect 5*. Envision a good 4* or a great 3* and it will meet your expectations!

It was a beautiful hotel with a pool, sauna and steam room. We really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed for a short 2 night break. this hotel was wonderful, the bar and restaurant were great. Staff all lovely and access to the spa was a nice perk. Room was clean and smart, with decor that echoed the communications heritage of the hotel. We would certainly stay again.

Fantastic hotel in the center of old town but not disturbed by any noice. A very nice little hotel spa made the cold afternoons great before heading out for dinner. Very friendly and service minded staff! I would definitely stay here again. Truly a great stay!

The room was comfortable and the front desk reception was friendly and helpful. Also, the location in the center of town was unbeatable. The Hotels.com website suggested that the hotel had a 24-hour shuttle service to the airport for guests. They did not have such a service. You had to order it separately for an additional fee. Also, I found the staff at the spa to be unfriendly and unhelpful. While the swimming pool was nice, the sauna and steam room were very small. There were also some rowdy guests which took away from the relaxing atmosphere I sought at the spa.

On arrival we were impressed by the condition and comfort of the hotel. Unfortunately this quickly changed to discomfort. The room was 22 degrees which is too warm for my partner and I to sleep in. The air con allowed to drop to 18 degrees so we thought all good and set the temp to 19. The room failed to cool. This was reported to reception repeatedly on the second report we were told their engineer won't be back until Monday (2 days later) and to open the windows. When open this allowed lots of noise from noisy birds to staff pushing carts on cobbles and putting glass into a bin, waking us repeatedly each night. The beds were comfy with nice linen. Just a shame the room was too warm without the windows open then the noise. There was no offer to move us room or apologies for the problem. The spa has very limited loungers, only 7, with staff hit and miss as to how quickly the towels were changed to make them useable by others. The pool was nice to relax in with a small hot tub only big enough for two. There is a steam room and sauna. We had breakfast once. It is Buffett with a small selection of cooked to order eggs. Although staff highlighted this option no one ever came over or made themselves available to place an order. The only fresh fruit is whole apples. On check out the issue with sleep was raised and they waived the bar bill for the four nights which was €100, less than 10% refused manager to come and speak to resolve.

Fint hotell med svært sentral beliggenhet. Fine rom med gode senger samt god frokost. Relativt dårlig renhold ila oppholdet; dårlig oppredde senger og ingen store dusjhåndklær (vi måtte be om nye i resepsjonen). Hotellrestauranten holder ikke mål; kjedelig, smakløs mat og dårlig vinmeny. Lite kunnskap om vin hos personalet.

Small glitches here and there: arrived early and were told that room will not be ready until 4pm; asked reception to call and waited for call but no call. We stayed two nights with two different reservations. At checkin receptionist said that he makes sure we stay in the same room during our stay. Still after first night staff knocked on door despite of ”do not disturb” sign and were asked when we will check out; we obviously said that we di not leave. Arriving back in the afternoon keys did not worked and we needed to go to reception to get new keys. In general areas on our floor (4th) handrails were dusty.

The hotel’s restaurant Tchaikovsky offers exceptionally refined cuisine and impeccable service. The staff also give excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again when I visit Tallinn.

Great location and very comfortable rooms. Slow breakfast service (even with more staff than customers!). Very helpful reception staff. Annoying that housekeeping changed our towels despite us hanging them up and being happy to reuse them during our 2 night stay and the hotel encouraging us to care for the planet by doing so. Staff training in restaurant and house-keeping and this hotel would be near perfect.

Very snobby staff, looking down on customers! I was staying in this hotel with my father. After checking in we had to come back to reception because our key didn't work. On the way out from reception, I heard very young receptionist with name Karl was making jokes calling me and my father gay couple. Ok. I and my father laugh on that, but if you think- first of all this is not a behavior of 5-star hotel staff, second for real gay couple that would be an action of hate! So, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you like to sleep in bed with spots on sheets, scratches on furniture and gossips of staff behind your back.

This is a beautifully appointed hotel located in a quiet street but very close to the centre of the Old City of Tallinn. There is marble everywhere, and everything shines. Staff are efficient and helpful, if generally rather stern-looking. Our room, in the old part of the building, was bright and comfortable with a high ceiling, large widows with original shutters. Two vast armchairs. Huge bed. Bathroom is large with high powered shower above the bath. Everything works and cleaning is invisible, prompt and effective. There are umbrellas all over the place, which is helpful with Tallinn's totally unpredictable weather. The swimming pool is about 12 meters long, though rather narrow. The changing facilities are fine, though there are only two changing cubicles. Unfortunately the pool is only open in the morning three mornings a week, though open every afternoon. Breakfast is an extensive buffet except for a few cooked items. The orange juice is from concentrate. Croissants and baking are rather heavy despite being fresh. Good choice of every type of breakfast items. Generally the hotel has a high-end corporate feel about it... perhaps reflecting its clientele.

A bit too cold the temperature in the room. Bigger problem is the shower in the tub. Can be dangerous. Is the tub really needed in all the rooms?

In the middle of old town. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants nearby. Comfortable and spacious room.

Pricey, but a good, central Old Town location. Heritage room small, and the aircon struggled in late Summer…but who stays in the room when there’s all that history to explore?

The suite was very nice

La climatisation dans la chambre faisait beaucoup de bruit. Difficilement explicable dans un pareil établissement. Aussi, les couloirs sonorisés font entendre leur musique jusque dans les chambres. Pas certain que nous soyons en présence d’un concept...gagnant. Sinon, personnel très courtois et serviable.

Staying in Old Town was perfect. The hotel is really beautiful and the staff is wonderful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was really well thought out. It is a great stay in a charming city

Bra hotell med praktiskt läge. Trevlig frukost och rymliga rum. Ok room-service. Kan dock inte rekommendera behandlingar på hotellets SPA. Oengagerad personal som inte kommunicerade/informerade om behandlingen. Gav endast kommando när man väl kom ner till receptionen: sitt, vänta, placera dig högre upp på britsen. Inget välkommen eller tack för ditt besök.

The Hotel Telegraaf is in the perfect location in Tallinn Old Town. But more important than location, all the staff, from the moment we entered the hotel and received a warm reception at the Front Desk, were helpful, courteous, and did their utmost to ensure we had a pleasant stay. This hotel is first class in every respect, and I warmly recommend it!

We didn’t try the restaurant in the evening but it’s the same place. The staff were very helpful and friendly, assisting in organising guides, taxis, restaurant bookings with lots of suggestions for alternatives if availability was a problem.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town.

This hotel is in a fantastic location within the old town so easy access to restaurants, sites and shopping. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are of average size and everything worked well.

Efficient front desi staff. Comfortable stay. Don’t get an uber here as they cannot drive to this location. Get a taxi

This hotel had lots of great service that made it a comfortable place to stay. The location can’t be beat for right in the middle of old town. We walked easily to all the tourist spots.

Great Hotel, close to everything. You won’t need a car!!

Taxi driver thought he couldn’t pull up to the entrance to we had a 50-yard walk with luggage in the snow. Turns out he could have driven up to the entrance.
