We were really fortunate to have booked our first stay in Vancouver at the Smithe House! It was a very walkable neighborhood and close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and cocktails. Gastown was an easy 15 minute walk. The property itself was amazing. Clean and secure with high tech automated keypads into the building, parking garage, and room. We stayed in a studio which was equipped like you might expect in an apartment. Full kitchen, including plates and eating utensils, but no cookware. There is not a front desk for check-in, we received a text with security codes and instructions. Any question we had was through text or phone and they were very prompt and attentive. We picked a great place and will certainly return!

An excellent property! Transit is close by and plentiful. Small gym was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Apartment was modern and spotless. An easy future choice in a city FULL of options. Extra credit for the keypad entry, excellent communication, fab guidebook, and laundry in suite. We will be back!!

Very comfortable and clean stay, truly a home away from home. Staff was very responsive and accommodating for early checkin and late checkout. Gym only has free weights for strength training but they did the job.

We did not know where to park when we arrived. If it wasn’t for seeing someone going into the parking garage, it would have taken a lot longer to figure it out. The initial code didn’t work for the gate which added to the confusion. A clearly marked Smithe parking garage sign would have helped

We were able to park onsite which was very convenient. Apartment was beautiful and cozy right in the heart of the Yaletown neighborhood of Vancouver. Shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores were close by. We were easily able to explore many things in the surrounding area by foot including Chinatown, Gastown, and Stanley Park.

Smithe House provided a clean, quiet refuge for our weekend in Vancouver. The location is within walking distance (15-20) minutes from most downtown attractions. There are local eateries, bars and coffees much closer as well. Decor is modern and in that way also a bit sterile, but the apartment was very clean, the bathrobes fluffy and the gym more than adequate for a good morning workout.

Modern and very large rooms. I like that there's no front desk and that you check in with a code. Convenient parking. The only minor downside is that it was loud, being only on the fourth floor on a busy street.

The best place we’ve ever stayed! I can’t imagine it being better. All staff members provided exceptional service & ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The unit is beautiful, clean & quiet while being conveniently walkable to several restaurants and shops.

The staff is incredibly friendly and super quick to communicate! Valentina was especially helpful. They were able to accommodate early check-in and late check-out, which we really appreciated. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 is that they're still working out the kinks of a new business... We had multiple issues with our code, both during check-in and during our stay. The fan in the washroom was broken. I love a dog friendly hotel, but there was a ton of thick black dog hair from the previous guests that we were picking off of our stuff all weekend. Overall we will definitely stay here again - the location is excellent and the rooms are a great size, and again, we really appreciated the customer service.

Great experience, great location, amazing bed. In suite laundry and a great kitchen were complete game changerss Only oddity was that my work laptop wouldn’t work with the wifi. Only place it’s ever not been able to connect. Personal computer worked fine. I never reached out to ask them if there was a workaround so I can’t mark them down a star. Just something to consider. Would stay again though, would just need to figure out the wifi situation first.

Overall good. Minor problems included: Intermittent wifi interruptions. No free Netflix or other tv subscriptions. No included free change of bed sheets for 13 night stay (option to pay 90$ for room servicing). Otherwise great location, clean and modern, nice area, would definitely stay again

I was looking for a nice hotel or AirBNB in Vancouver for a weekend of eating and drinking well, seeing concerts and plays, and just relaxing. Loved the city...and LOVE LOVE LOVED Smithe House. Beautiful apartment in a great location. WONDERFUL service from Hesham, Valentina, and the team. VERY responsive. Such comfort. AAA+++ Will stay here again. Absolutely NO issues.

Always a pleasure staying at Smithe house. Great location and lovely apartments. Customer service is excellent, being able to text a real human and get fast responses is a key reason why we book here. When our plans changed they were accommodating and they also gave use an upgrade one night.

Excelente lugar, ubicación perfecta, todo en perfecto estado. El único problema menor es que al no tener recepción si necesitas algo tiene que ser por email y aunque contestan rápido no es inmediato, generalmente no es problema pero si requieres algo urgente puede ser poco práctico Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aquí.

Only spent 1 night with a friend after a show but was great having such a comfortable & quality 2 bedroom smaller apartment with all amenities. Unfortunately the elevator was not working due to a power surge in the area but staff did an amazing job communicating with us & offered help carrying our bags up/down from the underground carpark to the 3rd floor where we stayed. Great & friendly customer service in the circumstances! Location is great for BC Place, Rogers Arena & the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Would certainly stay again!

Smithe House is at a great location in Yaletown, close to the bus stops and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the area is very safe. The building is secure, and the room is well supplied with kitchen utensils, cookware, washer/dryer, etc. Really a home away from home. Very comfortable. The check-in was easy with advanced online identity verification. Definitely recommend.

Yaletown is a a neighbourhood that I did not know much about before, but glad that we chose to stay three nights at. It is a quiet, relatively safe area, and the service apartment is around 15 mins walk from a nearby Sky Train station (especially if you are coming from the airport) and just within 10 mins walk from a large supermarket. It is also close to the waterfront of False Creek, which is pleasurable to walk along. The kitchen is well-equipped, the apartment spacious and with good soundproof even between bedrooms. The beds are comfortable albeit on the softer side. The other thing we would say about the apartment is that the pressure of the shower heads is a bit weak, but it is not a big deal. To make it even better there are some brilliant restaurants nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much.

Excellent property. Very nice. Met all my needs. The only real downside is that it's about a 10 min walk from the nearest SkyTrain station. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of if planning to depend on SkyTrain.

Loved the check in and out process, great to have a washer/dryer in the unit and full kitchen with all the appliances you would need. Excellent location in downtown and close enough to walk to many great restaurants and shops.
