Lovely Riad with very friendly welcoming staff. Very peaceful inside but only a stone's throw from the he hustle and bustle. Even though we didn't eat there saw other guests with meal which looked great , good choice of restaurants close by as well.

Nice hotel in a quiet area just few minute walk to everything. Great staff !! Excellent value only thing missing was a TV . Highly recommend this hotel !!!!!

Wonderful staff. They were very accommodating. Set up breakfast early for us. Had the best beef tagine there. And even had our boarding pass les printed. Beautiful quiet place. Don’t forget to go up to the roof. If we had more time we would have spent the day and night there

A really well kept ,lovely & calm riad a minutes walk from the spice square ,you can see it’s very well maintained ,beautiful little courtyard,the room was spotless & the both the hosts were friendly,welcoming & attentive,the breakfast was very nice,not huge but just enough to get you started for the day.overall I would thoroughly recommend this riad !

The Riad is right in the heart of the medina, and is very quiet, with a lovely roof terrrace. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful.

The courtyard in the picture and the location were excellent. The room did not have very much privacy however with the glass door leading directly to the courtyard. AC was not very effective. Biggest problem was communication. I was not told (but I guess should have figured out) that the car I hired through them could only bring me within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Pretty unexpected to have to walk all alone with luggage through the medina at 1 a.m. after a late flight. The driver told me it's not a problem because it is "safe." I guess it was. Also got mixed messages from staff as to whether I could get my boarding pass printed or not at the hotel. Overall, the charm of the courtyard and of the neighborhood made up form most of these smaller problems.

The property was easy to find, extremely clean, and matched the description and photos. The bathroom was great and the bed/bedding was super comfortable and the AC worked great! Our host, Abdul, was fantastic. He made us feel extremely safe and comfortable and even made us an early breakfast for our early checkout. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Riad Zarka overnight before a tour and the staff were amazing. Ayoub greeted me on arrival and was very accommodating with my entire stay. He made sure I was able to have breakfast before I needed to leave. He also ensured I felt safe and comfortable in the area and that I knew exactly where to go to meet my tour in the morning. I was able to request in advance to be picked up from the airport and brought to the Riad by a private driver. The Riad itself is down a few non- drivable streets but I had no issue finding it, and you can also have someone help walk you there if you need help with directions or your bags. My room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the main areas. Thank you for the great experience!

Riad Zarka è un posto veramente piacevole, pulito e confortevole. Si trova a pochi minuti a piedi da Jemaa el Fna, e nel bel mezzo della medina di Marrakesh. La camera non è molto grande, ma rispecchia in pieno l'essenza del soggiorno in un riad tradizionale marocchino. Simo è un gestore gentile e preciso nell'esaudire le richieste (noi abbiamo chiesto colazione fuori orario per escursioni varie). Consigliatissimo!

El riad está súper bien ubicado y muy accesible! Se puede visitar todo caminando. El staff muy amable y servicial. Está todo muy limpio y cuidado. El desayuno muy abundante para empezar bien el día. Sin duda repetiríamos!

I just arrived and my room is okay but the stress is sitting on a piece of plywood - the bathroom is a wreck - chipped and peeling paint on the bathtub and sink, a very old shower, and signs of mold in some areas - I’m forced to stay as I paid in advance but I advise you to avoid this Riad. I’m told there is no ther room available. So I’m stuck with it. In addition I wrote twice before arriving ! once by text and once by the app. I’ve recieved no reply

The stay was very calm and the staff was brilliant and very sweet and talkative especially Oussama who helped us a lot and generally was a nice person. The room had good aircondition, a nice bed and a big and good bathroom. The only negative is that it's a bit difficult to find especially at night so be sure to download directions or get a SIM card with internet from the airport.

Eine meiner besten Unterkünfte! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Man wird mit Tee und Süßigkeiten empfangen. Die Zimmer - wenngleich wie in jedem Riad relativ klein - sind sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingericht. Alles mit Rosenblättern dekoriert. Sollte ich wieder nach Marrakesh reisen, wird es meine erste Wahl sein!

A few minutes walk from main Square. But in quiet alley. Room was spacious w all the amenities. The night manager walked me to the square to catch my airport transportation which was a big help as it was @ 4 am. Definitely recommend if one wants a quiet but accessible location.

Abdul was an amazing staff member, really helped us out when we got to the riad, as well assisted us when we mentioned needing a driver for the next day to take us to the train station. The riad was really nice, very lovely presentation and atmosphere and definitely recommend to others

Grundsätzlich ein hübsches Gebäude in zentraler Lage. Doch leider nur Probleme. Die inkompetente Dame die uns geöffnet hat, hat uns trotz vorheriger Absprache der Uhrzeit nach einer langen Tour noch 45 Minuten auf das Zimmer warten lassen. Sie hat uns dabei schon die Citytax abkassiert und hinterher behauptet sie hätte es nicht. Wir zahlten dann doppelt weil wir nicht mehr diskutieren wollten. Die wiederholten Schwierigkeiten hatten uns lange genug von unseren Vorhaben in Marrakech abgehalten. Sehr unangenehm. Schlafen war auch kaum möglich. Das Personal hört bis Mitternacht laut Musik.

You can't go wrong with this place. Abdou, especially, was wonderful. He took the time to go over the map, highlight important places like ATM and banks and, of course the main attractions. He was extremely attentive towards my stay. In fact, the whole staff is the reason I booked another two nights at the hotel before my return trip.

Abdul was AMAZING! Beauitful Riad with a great location. Even though it was in the medina it is sstill tucked away where it is still quiet! 100% reccommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech!!

A few minutes walk from main Square. But in quiet alley. Room was spacious w all the amenities. The night manager walked me to the square to catch my airport transportation which was a big help as it was @ 4 am. Definitely recommend if one wants a quiet but accessible location.

Friendly service and great breakfast. Riad is steps away from the Medina. Only issue is taxi availability, need to coordinate transportation with front desk ahead of time. Front desk did a good job getting us help to bring our luggage and connect with taxi driver. Riad is a bit difficult to find but once located, it is easy to get to.

What a beautiful place to stay!! Right near the bustle of the Medina and pure Moroccan beauty!! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious!! It could be tricky to locate but Google maps and our phones made it easy!! We felt safe walking around the area and at night it was very quiet. If you’re looking for a modern hotel this is not for you. If you are looking for a place with more of a Moroccan flavour you will enjoy this!!

Dont be put off by how hard it is to find. About 7 minute walk from central market thru several crowded skinny pathways. You'll need Google Maps with turn by turn. And last 100 meters look intimidating...but you will be walking down sidewalks of local homes, and they are most welcoming/helpful, so it is perfectly safe.

Wonderful staff. They were very accommodating. Set up breakfast early for us. Had the best beef tagine there. And even had our boarding pass les printed. Beautiful quiet place. Don’t forget to go up to the roof. If we had more time we would have spent the day and night there

A really well kept ,lovely & calm riad a minutes walk from the spice square ,you can see it’s very well maintained ,beautiful little courtyard,the room was spotless & the both the hosts were friendly,welcoming & attentive,the breakfast was very nice,not huge but just enough to get you started for the day.overall I would thoroughly recommend this riad !

Had a wonderful few days staying at Riad Zarka. It is situated in the heart of the action, close to all the markets and yet very quiet and peaceful to relax and sleep. Simon went out of his way to look after me, even leaving out a flask of coffee and some breakfast for a 6am start for a tour.

We really enjoyed our stay . The property is beautiful. Comfortable bed, great shower , spacious room and roof terrace with loungers and outdoor shower. Don’t think we could have picked a better location either. We only ate breakfast there and it was really nice. Also it was so quiet despite being close to things. The staff are ALL amazing , so friendly and helpful . The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the fact that I specifically messaged the Riad before departure to ask about payment and they said cash or card . However when we got there it was cash only . This spoiled our holiday really as each day whatever we were we had to find a cash point . Due to the daily withdrawal limits I had to do this each day . This then limited the amount of cash we had each day and the amount of souvenirs we could buy and I was unable to tip the staff as I would have liked. I really wish they had given the correct information and I would have brought cash with me . Such a shame as everything else about the Riad was just perfect . If you take cash you will love it !

Absolutely fantastic. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the souks. Lots of hustle and bustle all around but calming peace inside. The food was EXCELLENT, the best dinners we had while in Marrakech. Dura and Fadwa were Excellent. Amine made our holiday though, he was welcoming, kind, nothing was too much bother, and he taught us a lot of Arabic! We had an excellent stay.
