The hotel is in a prime location for exploring midtown Reykjavik. Extremely convenient walking distance to most restaurants, shopping, and bus stops. Because it's in midtown, you do hear the bars and nightlife at night. The hotel is all self-service. A code is emailed the day before check in. Code gives you access to hotel entrance, luggage storage, your room, and help yourself storage if you need towels n toilet paper. Room cleaning request is done thru email. There is no human staff contact and must have smart phone if that is a downside. There is a self-help laundromat next door. Highly recommended due to it's location.

Great location in the heart of Reykjavík, with shops, cafés, restaurants and main sights all within easy walking distance. The accommodation was comfortable and convenient for exploring the city. A wonderful bonus was having a balcony where we could step outside and watch for the Northern Lights.

Interesting hybrid of an apartment and a hotel. Great value for the money as I needed something more on a budget. Room was like any hotel room you just had to follow instructions they provide carefully with using a code. Fantastic location too, everything in the tourist corridor was walkable. More quiet than I expected - maybe because it was Mon-Wed and the venue next door finished up before 11.

The room was quite tiny but very neat and it was functional without a balcony. It was great to have big mirrors. Location to the central part of city was convenient . We did not come into contact with staff because it was self check in, which went well without any issues.

Very much missed having a traditional hotel lobby with bathrooms and in person staff.
