It’s a nice hotel, but there is no parking in front of the hotel we pay €60 per day for the parking too many bicycles. You have to ride from the bicycle not the car.

Ok but not very convenient if your in car. You have to park 10min walk from the hotel, and walk with your luggage as there I no place to even stop and drop off. The AC wasn’t working and had to get a fan delivered to the room. Not worth $850 per night.

Bar and restaurant offered excellent facilities. The pool needed attention as there was a broken jet pouring cold water into the pool. Sauna and changing room facilities were clean with free lockers and plenty of towels. Hotel facilities and staff were excellent overall. Conveniently located opposite the train station and near to all the sites and shopping centre.

The room was located in the other area of the hotel. It was dreary and not special. Tiny twin beds seemed odd. They looked like cots. At night, we could smell this horrible scent (the smell of a sewer). The fitness center looks nice but the equipment needs updating. The pool was lovely.

The staff here has been wonderful. Our room was a nice size and the spa and pool area is lovely. But, the best thing was the service. At every level we found willing helpers from concierge to reception to housekeeping to the breakfast reception. We felt at home right away.

Superb property in the center of Amsterdam. The hotel is located right across from Amsterdam Centraal which makes it conviene if your coming from the airport. They have a great restaurant on site and an awesome pool and fitness facility on the ground level. When we were there the pool and fitness areas were clean and well maintained. The location was great and super close to all the major attractions and trams that take you around the city, which was convenient. The room we booked was a twin superior room, and it was very spacious! We had more than enough room to spread out my all our things and it even had a small sitting area. The sofa looked as if it had a pullout bed which was a nice touch! Definitely would be returning to this hotel if we are ever back in Amsterdam!

Cleaning the room was not consistent, one day not cleaned until we called at 5pm, another day walked in at 3pm and had to go down to the lobby and wait. Pool was down for 1 day, room wasn’t the cleanest had a bleach stain on the carpet. Most evenings aside from outside noise were loud inside. Elevator was down one day and took forever to get to our room since it takes 2 elevators to get to the other building. Staff was very nice just cleanliness, facility needs some work for the price we paid I expected better.

La chambre était bien mais il y avait tout de même pas mal de poussière dans la chambre, ainsi que des cheveux au sol, il n’y avait pas non plus de brosse pour les toilettes du coup nous nous sommes retrouvés avec des toilettes légèrement sale, le reste de la chambre était nickel, machine à café, bouilloire, literie impeccable et confortable ! L’hôtel propose des bonne prestations avec la piscine, l’accueil est chaleureux ! Bref dans l’ensemble le séjour était agréable.

The Park Plaza in Amsterdam offers a great central location for exploring the city. You're right near the Centraal Station, giving easy access to trains, trams and ferries for navigating the city. We also easily accessed bike tours and a canal tour within steps from the hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. Our sixth floor room was quiet. Friends with a first floor room found there was a lot of street noise. If you have a room in the newer tower, the two elevator rides and the "bridge" crossing to the newer building does get tedious when you have done it several time in a day.

I think my expectations for this hotel were raised way too high by what I think was a 9.4 / Exceptional rating when I booked it. To be clear, there is nothing at all bad about it, and many things that were good. I just had very high hopes, which weren't quite fulfilled. The main thing is that we booked, I think, a Superior room. I think it turned out that this was their entry level room. I don't remember the photos, but we booked 2 beds, and it turned out they were more or less single beds. That, and the room itself was quite small, without much space around the beds or in the bathroom. It wasn't "bad" as such, but it wasn't great. To be fair to the hotel, when I raised it, they did offer to change rooms for us, but I had to go back to reception to find out if they had any and, when I went, the queue was just too big for me to be bothered. That probably shows that it wasn't that bad, it just didn't live up to what I hoped. That said, the service was great. We arrived early and they checked us in straight away, no problem. The downstairs bar was good. The breakfast was very good. Definitely worth including in your booking. The location is good, especially if you're coming in by train as it's literally a 5 mins walk from the station. It doesn't seem like Uber can stop at the hotel, so be warned about that - it seemed they had to stop by the station - again, 5 mins walk away. In all, I would recommend the hotel for sure.

Fantastic hotel. Beautifully decorated, perfectly located to local attractions & very friendly staff. Only reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 is the beds. We had to switch rooms bc the king was so uncomfortable & the next rooms bed was barely better. Highly suggest getting a room with the large soaking tub.

Downside was that the hotel was extremely busy and could not assign us rooms until after 4pm. Had a very long exhausting flight from California and ended up waiting in the lobby! Too many people.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. The location is perfect, just steps from Amsterdam Centraal Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. The area right outside the hotel is lively and full of people, but as soon as you step into the room, it’s quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We arrived before check in time, and the staff went out of their way to get us into a room as early as possible. The room itself was spotless, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Seriously, it was tough to get up in the morning. The shower had great water pressure, which I know might sound like a small thing, but after a few bad hotel experiences with barely any pressure, this made a big difference. We also made use of the spa and pool area, and it exceeded our expectations - clean, calm, and a perfect place to unwind. The concierge team was fantastic, always friendly and ready to help with great recommendations and reservations. We’re already planning to come back in September, and we’ll absolutely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Pro: it’s sort of clean. Probably good for a group of friends there to smoke weed, visit the sex museum or something tacky. Cons: not for couples - avoid. Feels like a cheap hotel. Massively overpriced. Rooms are super small (the bedsheets has a strange chemical smell too), ours had the view of a wall and someone else’s window so didn’t feel private. We tried to ignore the rudeness of the staff at check-out but then she forced us to pay the city tax twice incorrectly, lying and ignoring the previous charge we shown on our banking phone app (always get a receipt). A bottle of water at the bar costs €7, which you might need as there’s no water in the room and the minibar is left empty. Oh, they charge you to borrow their umbrellas, another tacky move as confirmation of the low standard they offer to their customers. Never again. Will do our best to avoid park plaza in other locations too.

The hotel is a bit dated and was not particularly clean. The service was good though we waited in long lines for check in, and concierge questions. The bar while pricey had good food and beverages but service was slow. You're really paying for the central location. The bed and room were excellent and internet access was fast. Don't miss the breakfast. While pricey it is exceptional and offers lots of food to keep you going well past lunch.

We rated the breakfast 5 star but it was not free. Wonderful selections but the price we paid I would expect a lot. The hotel was great and the outside area was very busy/noisy. It’s to be expected with the location so close to main train station which was the very reason we selected the hotel. Our overall rating would have been a 5 but the room we received was not what was pictured when we reserved it with Expedia. We expected to have a couch and chair in our room and only received the chair.

This hotel will not let you check in early even if the room is ready unless you pay 15 Euro per hour. This creates a major mess at 3 PM when everyone wants to check in at the same time. This causes long lines and lots of baggage all over the area and delays in getting checked into the hotel. I would NOT recommend the hotel restaurant for breakfast. It is chaotic and disorganized. I ordered mushroom and cheese omelette and never got it. I inquired again and after waiting another 15 minutes I got an onion and cheese omelette. There was no bacon and manager said it would be right up. Thirty minutes later it showed up and was burned black. This is not a good choice for breakfast and is definitely overpriced for what you get! I would not stay there again nor recommend. Additionally, beds have very hard mattress and are not comfortable. Disappointed in this hotel which looks elegant in photos and reviews.
