This hotel was really lovely. Having never been to Amsterdam before, I chose a hotel within walking distance of the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum because I wanted to visit both as well as a couple of smaller museums. It was in a quiet area but with great restaurants and shops within two to five blocks. The hotel itself was spacious and light filled. Spending time out on the garden terrace day or night was serene and the food was excellent quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes too and Vondelpark is close by and feels more relaxed riding a bike there. If I ever came back to Amsterdam I would want to stay here again. I also thought the price was very good considering how expensive Amsterdam hotels are. The whole experience felt very luxurious but at a great price (by Amsterdam standards) And the trams and buses were close by and easy to use if I didn’t feel like walking. Very convenient.

Det var et godt ophold og fantastisk personale, havde glemt hvordan det var når døren blev åbnet for en. Dog er jeg ikke glad for st vinduer ikke kan åbnes for frisk luft kun AC der laver. Parkering ved hotellet koster 55 euro i døgnet.

Overall the staff were very helpful except one member when I called before the stay to confirm the baby cot and was told it’s subject to availability. Called again the following morning and asked again and they confirmed it was ok. Could do with a couple more staff at breakfast but there was a good spread. Our room was noisy near the lifts which are loud at night. You’re just a little bit out of town but we wanted that for the quiet

The area is good. The service is baaad, first no one was there to help with bags. One of the elevators wasn’t working for the whole duration , so I had to wait at least 7 minutes for the only elevator. The AC wasn’t working and the room was hoooot. I called them to fix it or change the room, but unfortunately they weren’t able to either fix it or give another room, they sent me a fan. I would never stay there again

The rooms were extremely outdated… Seems like they did a half renovation, mixing old furniture with modern, brass fittings with silver fittings… Couches were outdated… The lighting was the worst… Looks like something out of an Austin Powers movie… Hilton needs to clean up it’s act at this location big time. We chose the Hilton to place ourselves a bit outside of the city center and were extremely happy with our choice. Getting in and out of the center of Amsterdam took around 20 minutes but the facility and the solitude on the outskirts made it worth it.

This property was a very great stay for my wife and I. It was in a very lovey area of town, quiet and very adjacent to the tram(2 blocks behind the hotel). The breakfast was a super highlight, any and everything was available and was superior to any other hotel breakfast. The property is gorgeous, I'm very picky about where I stay and the bar has been raised. Thank you Hilton.
