This is a small boutique hotel near the center city. The rooms are small but big enough that two people are fine. The hotel urned out to be conveniently located and we could walk everywhere we needed to. There are no telephones in the rooms, so that could be a concern. Breakfast is a continental breakfast for an additional 12 euros p/p. Would stay again.

First of all I would like to say that the staff are great. The give you directions to anywhere and they are nice about it. There is staff always on site. The room was simple with a bathroom, a bed and a desk. It is good for a solo traveler and the price is right. Quiet because is not at the city center but you can get anywhere by walking within 20 minutes. Great location for walking and there are shops, and restaurants nearby. The hotel offers breakfast for a price but I opted out because I like to get out and eat. Overall, I recommend this hotel for people on a budget. It doesn't have many frills but you don't need much when everything is within walking distance. Staff is amazing.

Great location - easy walk to most places. Staff friendly . Rooms clean and tidy although our bathroom was very small but clean and modern. No air con but they did have fan and windows that opened which made it nice temp. Beds and pilows very comfortable.

Hotel was average. The bathroom was very small. The shower wall was not wide so everytime you showered you essentially soaked the entire bathroom floor. We also inadvertently would hit the lever for the shower when washing hair, etc, so the water would turn off constantly. Aside from the tiny bathroom, there was also a lack of outlets and mirrors in the room so you couldn’t get ready outside of the bathroom for someone else to be able to shower. Booking a quadruple room, obviously there would be multiple people needing to get ready. The pillows were hard. The entire hotel lacked an ice machine or opportunity to request ice, and no fridge in room, made it inconvenient to be able to eat or drink during our stay. Staff was phenomenal. Wouldn’t stay here again? Probably not.

The hotel itself is great. There's breakfast (I didn't get any but €12 isn't bad when a cup of coffee at the nearest coffee shop was more than €4). Elevator is a huge plus. I never felt unsafe. It's in a quiet area between the museums and Anne Frank House, 15-25 min walk to most things. There is a tram stop just 2 min away which requires a Metro connection to/from the Central Station but it's not difgicult. Line 13 isn't in service anymore. Verdict is, I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Good water pressure for long hair and coffee is included -- you can make latte, cappacino, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, etc... Staff was super helpful and friendly. Neighborhood was safe and so easy to get around. Just watch out for the bikers!

Clean and comfortable at a reasonable price, Hotel de Looier is located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do while in Amsterdam. All staff members we encountered were friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again and can definitely recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights. Location was excellent, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and boutique shops. Room was spotless clean, bed very comfortable, staff was extremely helpful, especially David. We had originally booked for two nights, but extended our stay for two more with David’s help.

Amazing staff, they are all very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that the bathroom was in bad condition, it wasn’t cleaned very well, but I have to mention that I booked the hotel at 10pm so they might not have had the time to clean it well. Location was great in the heart of Jordaan, and close to the 9 streets shopping and several great cafes and restaurants. The nearest tram station is about 10 min walk away and there is no metro station nearby however, which isn’t too bad if you’re just going to the main tourist districts and are able to walk everywhere. The building itself is dated, and if you’re a light sleeper you might want to stay away as the creaking floorboards through the night and paper thin walls that allow you to hear your neighbour’s conversations (and plumbing!) will keep you up. Room rate was also slightly pricey. But overall despite its faults, the room was clean, I had clean sheets, clean toilet, which were all the basic stuff I needed for my stay. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful.

Bed was uncomfortable. Made up of 2 single mattresses with a six inch gap between them. Bathroom had a sensor light which would turn off while in the shower. You had to get out of the shower to wave and activate it on a wet slippy floor in the dark. I slipped once, banged my head another time and hurt my arm waving and hit the shower stall. Turn the wrong way (left) getting out of the lift on the third floor and you will literally fall to your death. This should be signposted very well in the lift. Instead there is a generic caution sign. Very overpriced and cannot check in using bank card on phone. They need your actual card to store your card details in a database. Paid almost 500 euro for two night. Never again. Avoid!!

Clean room. Friendly staff. Nice size room compared to other hotels in Amsterdam. Walls are very thin so you can hear a lot when neighbors are loud. The only 2 things that I would improve are: There’s no open TV, you have to use your Netflix password or other streaming service to watch some tv but we don’t like logging in with our account credentials on a random place. So, no TV time for us. The other thing is: I especially reserved this hotel because it said on the site that there’s a 24hr shuttle to the airport when in reality is either a €55, 24 hrs. taxi service or a 5 min. walk to the bus stop with a direct bus to airport. (Public transport). Which is not bad and very convenient. We took it. I just wish they were more clear on the options.

Rooms were spacious and updated. Bed was big and comfortable. Great location to explore Amsterdam and for access to the tram. Would have been nice to have room temperature control rather than the portable units and not sure why the shower door goes only half way because the floor gets wet.

The mattress was the worst I have ever had in a hotel room. Its a simple as that. I have travelled extensively and this mattress was lumpy and sagged to the middle. There are other smaller issues but for the place you plan to sleep, a good sleep is everything.

Had a really great stay here! Staff was super friendly, rooms were quite clean and fairly updated & comfortable, and the location can’t be beat - such a cute and convenient neighborhood to explore Amsterdam!

Great location for exploring central Amsterdam, nice and quiet at night, and easy to get to from airport by bus just a few minute walk away. Helpful and friendly staff before and during our stay.

The hotel is located within walking distance to many landmarks (15 - 20 min), and 5 minutes away from the tram. The hotel is located in a quiet street and you can also find cafes and grocery stores in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to find an elevator, which is not that common in Amsterdam! The room was clean and spacious with a lot of natural light thanks to the big windows. Bathroom is clean and has a big shower. I would just upgrade the shower curtain to a screen door ^^ Staff was friendly and reception was opened 24/7. I also got lucky enough and got to check in early. Other guests might be a bit noisy in the hallways but this is mainly during day time so it wasn't too bothersome.

Good quality shower room and a great breakfast buffet with staff ensuring it was always well stocked and looked inviting. Each morning we enjoyed a cooked option that complemented the Continental spread of meats, cheeses and breads.

I had a very pleasant stay at this 3-star hotel. The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring the city. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was in good condition, clean, and comfortably furnished. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with its delicious and varied selection. The room service was also more than satisfactory and contributed to an overall positive experience. I would gladly stay here again.

There was very easy access to the hotel from Schiphol airport using bus 937 that had a stop very close to the hotel. The hotel staff was at all times welcoming and cordial during our stay. We arrived during the early morning, and our luggage was stored until check in time. Our room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast room was also welcoming, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. The hotel boasts an overall cozy atmosphere, and the location in the Jordaan district is fabulous.

Location was great, comfortable clean beds, every day housekeeping was superb, very modern, but amenities were minimal. Not enough outlets in the room, the shower has only a partial glass door so bathroom floor quickly becomes a pond, you can’t get an ice cube in the entire place, rooms get hot in the summers, no hair blow dryer either and room decor is bare bones. Some of the staff were quite pleasant & helpful, although we’re still waiting on our refund as front desk booked us for the wrong museum & showing. The food options for breakfast were OK, but not to everyone’s liking. The best day was the one day the attendant made crepes!

The staff at the front desk was super friendly, polite and helpful. We loved the location, we were able to walk everywhere, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants and small unique boutiques within short walking distance. The room was very spacious and the bathroom very comfortable and newly renovated. I definitely recommend it and will return to this lovely Hotel. I should mention that I left about 10 euros in coins on my bedside table the last day of our stay and when I returned after visiting the museum district to get changed for the New Year’s Eve celebration the coins were gone. It was just bothersome and not a big deal since nothing else was missing. I still would highly recommend this property

Very nice hotel. Quiet area, easy to get to from airport. We had a double bed, very comfortable. Room spacious well decorated bathroom small however modern and very clean. I purchased breakfast, and great choice of food juices coffee. Staff very helpful. Would go back and recommend

The staff are so wonderful. David at the front desk was very friendly, helpful, and an overall nice guy! Also, Francesco and all the workers are super nice. The breakfast was great, the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and very convenient to everything.

The staff here are incredible. They provided us detailed information about the city and how to navigate the trams and trains. Even though the property is dated and the rooms are small (which is true of most cities), they keep it clean. It is in the middle of the city and we were able to walk to most attractions. The staff are amazing and helpful.

The staff (especially, Francesco) were fantastic in giving directions with the tram and how to navigate around the city. We stayed in a triple room which was spacious. Unfortunately, we struggled with the short shower wall as the bathroom got very wet. The breakfast looked generous and was located in a cute room downstairs. We really appreciated the elevator as the stairs were very very narrow. I think we could stay there again. Thank you.
