Strawfields. Fantastic rural location. Close to beaches. Games barn and Alpacas.

We have just left straw fields and it was An amazing place we stayed with our dog and almost 4 year old. It was perfect location being about 20-30 mins Max from anywhere we made the most of visiting as many places near by as possible. Alex and her family were welcoming inviting us to pizza night when we arrived Saturday. Which was fantastic and such a lovely touch. One of the mornings Alex showed us around the animals and let our little boy feed the alpacas smooth the sheep which he loved and she told us all about the animals personalities. We really enjoyed it and we would definitely return.

The hayloft is a super cute cottage perfect for our family 2 adults and kids age 5 and 3. It has everything you need and added bonus of toys and books for the kids. Beds were clean and very comfy, was a perfect space downstairs to set up our frenchies crate and fenced off courtyard to let him out to toilet. Strawfields is rustic and beautiful we loved exploring and meeting the animals and the play equipment was great for our children. The hosts were friendly and there if you needed anything they made us very welcome. Location was ideal for all our favourite days out in north Devon! We will visit again :)
