We really enjoyed our recent stay with View! The entry foyer and layout is beautiful and welcoming on your arrival. The customer service, warm and welcoming. Excellent sized rooms for families and is well priced. The outdoor pool area looks a little tired (but appears to be having alot of work currently done to it) but the space is amazing with so much potential and is beautifully lit up of an evening. The kids loved having a dip in the pool whilst mum enjoyed the chance to relax (whilst still being able to supervise) in the tranquil poolside surrounds with a good coffee from the on premise restaurant. Parking is easy and well priced ($15) Overall a great stay close to the foodie hub of Hamilton as well for those wanting to venture out or take on the beautiful river walk and see the sights. Will definitely stay again if we need Brisbane City Accommodation.

Great place. Walking distance to Breakfast Creek hotel for a great steak, easy to access the walk/running/cycling paths along the river. Nice gym too. Only thing for my room is the blinds in the bathroom were wide open so people probably had a shock in the evening when I had the light on! Also blind was broken so had to use a towel to ensure no one could see in!

Great Riverview room, it was nice and big with an excellent view of the river. It was pouring when we arrived and there was a leak in the window but this dried out quickly. The pool and spa were lovely. Had a quick drink in the bar and although the barman was surly, the bar was comfy and welcoming.

I have stayed at the View hotel Brisbane many times over the past 10 years. always clean, tidy, good service and rooms are modern. I was surprised to find this time they are now charging for parking which has never been the case previously. the free and convienient parking was always the drawcard for me to use this property. I understand the economy is tough and businesses are looking for more ways to generate an income stream so I guess it was going to happen eventually . however overall a good stay

The rooms feel a little dated. For instance they still have internet cable hookups but no USB ports, and the wallpaper/decor is a bit odd. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The in-house restaurant had a large menu that made me nervous but the meals were surprisingly good. The pool looked good but it was too cold for us to try it (its not heated).

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Check in was flawless. Pool area is also well maintained. On site bar was a great spot to unwind. The breakfast, whilst it had plenty of variety, was somewhat let down by the “cooked food” which was only luke warm at best.

Corner room with a great view of the river. Comfortablw bed and friendly bar staff. One blonde lady on reception was sour and abrupt. Some areas of the hotel were not cleaned properly, serviettes left in lift or corridors, room service trays not vleared for 18 hours as examples. But the hotel served our purpose and the room was large, comfotable with a good view and bathroom

Quite a lovely position. However, the room was not clean. There were short black hairs over the shower wall. Thick dust covered the walls and the carpet felt dirty. There was also thick dust on the vent in the back of the door in the bathroom. Some of the timber finishings were worn and the television did not work properly (we could not access free to air television). There was an old Easter egg behind the television on the floor and thick dust there as well. I became unwell with hay fever because of the dirt and dust. The staff were polite though we did not have much to do with them. Parking was convenient and the location was central to where we needed to go. The room servicing staff were lovely and restocked the room. For the amount we paid I would have thought the condition of the room would have been cleaner.

Hotel in good location however rooms were dated and not very clean. Our room the wallpaper gave me a headache. Size however for family was good. Things weren’t cleaned properly, lots of dust. Said they provided tea and coffee facilities but no milk in fridge? Breakfast was okay, hot food wasn’t hot and was expensive.

The view from my room was incredible, the room was spacious, great comfortable bed and good bathroom. The sheets had a few marks on them when I arrived but otherwise the room was great. The reception guy however... reception was unmanned every one of the 5 times I went down and 2 calls to the reception desk both went unanswered. When I arrived to an empty reception desk, there was no way to call anyone and I just had to wait 10 mins. After waiting, he appeared but then served another guest who came over a minute or so after he did before acknowledging me. He then tried to take my credit card away to put 'on file during my stay' instead of taking a deposit, which I refused to let out of my sight. After asking for a late checkout, he then tried to charge me to check out at 11am, which is literally the normal checkout time on the website. Terrible customer service and I won't be booking again any time soon.

Lovely hotel. Nice, spacious room with very comfortable beds. I only took one star out because the cleaning wasn’t very good, mainly in the bathroom/shower. There was mould in the shower walls and hairs on the wall and a bobby pin on the floor of the bathroom But other than that it’s a nice hotel and I’d would stay again

I couldn't sleep all night because I had a terrible allergy. My room was full of dust and when we turned on the heating it was terrible. The towels and bathroom towels smelled bad and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste. For what we paid, we expect at least that everything is clean. A very bad experience. The only nice thing was that I asked for a room with a river view and it was a little relaxing. Otherwise, nothing more because I couldn't even watch a movie or anything because they didn't have any services like Netflix or anything like that.

We found it really strange not having baby changing facilities, as in a changing table or a parents' room. The pool has no direct access from the rooms, so walking with swimmers across the reception office and the front door was a bit unsafe and uncomfortable. We also found that the floor was not vacuumed under the beds, and found old food under there that could rot and call unwanted pests. Other than that, the room itself and the view were really nice and we were provided with a cot which made staying there with a baby a bit easier and convenient. They were extremely accommodating with our check in due to needing baby changing facilities and we are very grateful for that.

What there don’t say about the beautiful view overlooking the Brisbane River is the road noise or traffic noise that comes from the road right beside the hotel loud disappointing and no toilet brush to remove the hot wheels skid marks the bar staff and other staff fantastic it was just a shame about the lack of sleep because of the road noise it’s all night if your used to traffic noise it will not be a problem for you

Older style building, large rooms very comfortable. All taps, shower, etc.. power outlets all upgraded. Lifts worked very well Room very quiet - no noise from road or neighbouring rooms Everything was awesome

We had a suite in this hotel. Our accommodation was fantastic. Beautiful views over the river. I have never known a more comfortable bed. Bathroom/vanity area perfect for getting ready. We have booked another night at the end of our holiday we liked it so much.

The hotel was probably a little too far out from the city centre and not close to either a station or the Citicat. Each would be at least a ten minute walk. The furniture in the room were a little tired and didn’t seem to flow with the room. There was wallpaper hanging off the wall. So it’s needs a bit of maintenance to bring it up to scratch. The food from the kitchen was good and the shower in the room was great. The swimming pool was cold but it’s their winter and the jacuzzi and sunbeds were again a little tired. The havuzxi looked like it needed a clean. So it’s a bit of a mixed bag, but overall we thought the hotel was good.

Great Views in panoramic river view room! But you can definitely here the cars going by. Could have been a bit cleaner (chair and robes) definitely pricey adding on parking, early checkin etc but overall I’d say we were happy with our one night stay.

We had a lovely stay at View Brisbane. The property, including our room, felt beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is gorgeous and we would've loved to spend more time relaxing there if our stay had been longer. The buffet breakfast was also a nice spread. Our only complaint is the bathroom water pressure. The water comes shooting so hard out of the sink, it splashes out on everything nearby. Meanwhile, the shower water pressure was a bit too low.

The concierge can make or break a place. This one "broke" the place. No smile, no eye contact, no friendliness. It felt like we were a nuisance to him. The bar took 20 minutes to serve us 1 glass of wine and a bottle of cider ( no glass with the cider). No other customers were in the bar. The dirty room service dishes, with food on them, were still outside rooms 18 hours later. The rooms were quiet and comfy though.

Customer experience was poor. I don’t like having to input parking details on phone, credit card was charged a deposit rather than put on “hold”, and when breakfast not charged at check out, I was told to go over and get the restaurant to charge it when I had all my luggage with me. Customer service needs refinements.

Very nice hotel, convenient location. Clean and quiet. Nice little bar. Restaurant food and service was excellent, but it was so cold in the restaurant that I could not finish my meal. No where else in the hotel was the temperature that low. I would stay here again.

room excellent, on this stay the bar was closed was a bit of disappointment, and the menu still the same, from last time we stayed not much choice, a curry would have been nice or chili con carni , we opted to the children's menu The sausages and chips and salad we just been on a cruise and did not want fine dining food like the hotel menu has on it ,the Staff were all pleasant and helpful

Despite the wild weather conditions (TC Alfred weekend) all staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the bar was closed and restaurant could only offer a minimal service. Despite that the meal we had was delicious and served in lovely surroundings. Our room overlooked the river and was very comfortable. Well done to staff operating under the circumstances.
