Stayed here for 3 nights post rivet cruise - great location close to Metro, Bus and Trams - great dining options within minutes walk - hop on / hop off bus route minutes away - most front desk staff a bit indifferent to enquiries and requests for help - one male stood out and was really good - advertised Bell hop and Porter is mythical - does not exist - included breakfast was adequate without being fantastic - we stayed in a superior double which has obviously been recently renovated and was really nice - plenty of storage and bathroom excellent - not all rooms are to this standard as was our friend’s room across the hallway. Room was quiet (114) and A/C worked well

Everything was good. My only complaint is, I could not get a cup of coffee at the hotel unless I purchased the breakfast. I only wanted a coffee, not the food. I had to leave the hotel to find one.

Do not stay here! I arrived at the hotel at 11pm. The weather was on the humid side. When I entered my room it felt like an oven. It must have been 85 degrees in there. I went back to the front desk and asked about air conditioning. The clerk told me they do not run the AC at this time of year. I replied that my room was extremely warm, and that they advertise their AC on hotels.com. This is so wrong. The whole building has no ventilation. Furthermore, the flimsy shower door looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. There is NO wastebasket in the room! How weird is that? Lastly, they put a small round table and a chair in the room, so it’s hard to move around. This is a SINGLE room with a spacious desk and a chair already. Get rid of the table and chair! You’ve been warned; don’t book this hotel.

Praktisches Hotel in guter Lage. Die große Markthalle ist 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Eine Parallelstraße hinter dem Hotel geht die Fußgängerzone los Richtung Innenstadt. Zur Burg braucht man ca. 35 min wenn man läuft. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist die Metro und unten der Donau die Straßenbahn. Daher ist die Lage echt gut. Mein Zimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders das Bad. Aber sauber! Dadurch das im Zimmer und auf dem Gang überall Teppich liegt und der auch schon älter ist hat der so seine Flecken und riecht leicht. Frühstück ist okay. Viel Auswahl gab es nicht. Würde das nächste mal eher in ein Café um die Ecke gehen oder Richtung Markthalle. Preis-Leistung ist okay. Der Flughafentransfer ist einfach ein Taxi was bestellt wird und kostet ca. 35€… das sollte man wissen wenn man sich dafür interessiert.

Breakfast was great, loved the scrambled eggs and bacon. Shower was decent and my bed was nice enough. Staff were friendly and professional. The lobby was spacious and I made good use of the shoe buffer and computer/printing facilities! Staff happy to hold my luggage after I’d checked out. Would recommend.

Ett OK hotell. Tyvärr två gånger påträffade jag en tjock kackerlacka i badrummet som drog ner på upplevelsen. Rummet är lite fullbelamrat med småmöbler och frukosten hade ingen juice, väl nån typ av Fanta smakande 30% fruktinnehållande saft. Restaurangen hade riktigt fin middag dock.

Die Lage ist gut. Überraschend gut war der Empfang. Trotz vorzietiger Ankunft, konnten wir gleich ein Zimmer in Beschlag nehmen. Leider befand sich auf der Überschlagmatraze( untersters Bettlaken) einen Fleck der, trotz unseres Hinweses wieder abgedeckt wurde. Erst nach Eskalation wurde das Spannlaken ausgestauscht.

Personalet var generelt uengagert, ikke serviceorienteret. Den ene morgen, hvor vi spiste morgenmad var den ringe, og alt havde en smag af gammelt fedt. Personalet havde mere travlt med at flirte med hinanden end at være til stede for gæsterne, selv smør måtte vi bede om. Der var ikke specielt rent. Lå gamle hårnåle fra andre gæster under sengen, var mug og skimmet og afskallet maling i brusenischen, hvor døren var i stykker. Eneste positive var den centrale beliggenhed.

Other than the lubby, the property is run-down. We asked to change our room as the shower, the shower door, and the shower head were covered by mold. The toilet water tank was covered by dust. Staff at the lobby not only were unfriendly but also rude. Couple of them even were not from Budapest, hence they couldn't provide basic information. We do not recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable room set-up and condition. Located at middle of the city centre which presents great connectivity from both the train station and airport (via metro). Not hard to find out everything around the place thx to liquor shop right next to front door and Lidl (grocery) nearby. Small shortcomings are weak wifi and old tv-set which doesn’t support internet services but not much problem in my case. Highly recommendable for newcomers and business trip

The hotel is in a great location so you can walk around the city if you are young enough. Good hotel and kind staff. The only issue is the hot water is not stable so you get hot water for a moment and cold water for next moment and this is very annoying while taking a shower. Other than this overall is good!

A good location for hop on hop off bus and metro. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. Room was very hot, air con didnt help, if you left a window open you were awake at 5am as the street was noisy. Very dated room, small and in need of total makeover. Breakfast was a bun fight, area too small where food was and staff very slow to top up food, especially bread and pastries.

This hotel has a very good/walkable location. The facility itself was fine - rooms were a bit small and dated, but clean and comfortable. The staff is hit or miss - some border dismissive but others - thanks to Gabriella, in particular - are very helpful. Important Note: we got sick and were unable to fly home as scheduled, so we needed to extend our stay. Given our condition, we simply went to the desk (twice) and they processed our request. Later, when we needed to extend one final time but were well enough to check rates online, we made an unpleasant discovery - the rates were were charged in person were considerably higher!

We would like to respond/add to our review of Jan 15. Of course we realize that hotel rates vary based on dates/demand. However, the hotel was considerably vacant throughout our entire stay, as we were there after the holiday season ended in January. We were also able to verify the rate difference between the higher rate we paid at the desk and lower rates charged online on multiple websites and on multiple occasions, so this is something other guests need to be aware of.

Great location with friendly staff! We arrived early with 5 rooms booked, and 3 were available right away, so we could leave our bags there until the others were ready. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and Lidl is just around the corner. The metro station is also very close. The location alone makes this place highly recommendable. As for the rooms, they could be cleaner and more modern, but considering the price, it's what you'd expect. We mainly used the hotel as a base for sleeping and showering, and it worked perfectly for that. Thanks again!

The room was clean, a bit old but very functional, the shower did take quite a while to heat up. The location was excellent, easy walk to the stations, great restaurants & bars all around. We had breakfast each day which was very good. Overall a good hotel & I’ll book again if I go back to Budapest.
