Perfect location on the V and A given an upgrade to superior mountain view room that was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable all the hotel facilities were excellent. Breakfast was very good with a huge variety. Pool area way well equipped and a sunny enclave if its not too windy overall very happy with our stay

The Hotel was good and a good location, I would question the 5 star rating though. Our room was fine. The pool area did not feel well managed and the pool itself was dilapidated, and the pool cleanliness was questionable. The service especially for breakfast was slow on several days with long queues.

This is an OLD hotel in a good location. Old scratched wood furniture, cracked bathroom sink, moldy shower that didn't drain. Dirty windows. Outdated TV service. Same experience two different stays. Not the experience we expected at a premium price. Bright spot - every single staff person was lovely.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Bay Hotel, choosing this property to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy a relaxing end to our 21-day trip in South Africa. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the expectations we had. Firstly, we noted ongoing construction around the hotel during our stay, which made it difficult to enjoy your outdoor areas and impacted our overall relaxation, especially during breakfast when the noise was particularly disruptive. Had we known about the construction, we might have planned differently. Additionally, upon checking in, we were surprised by the lack of acknowledgment of our anniversary, despite including a note about this in our booking. A warm welcome, or even a small acknowledgment, would have added a meaningful touch, especially for such a special occasion. Lastly, the cleanliness of our room did not meet expectations; specifically, we found hair in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. For a hotel of this caliber, attention to detail in cleanliness is essential, especially considering the premium pricing. While we appreciate the efforts of your staff, these issues detracted from our experience, and we wanted to share this feedback in hopes that it might be helpful for future guests.

This is an amazing property and being on the waterfront it’s such a safe location. So many. Are and restaurants from just a stones throw away. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing and so clean. The rooms are so clean and luxurious. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, always had a bottle of water, and was cleaned twice a day. The breakfast was good and very generous. The location was fantastic, right around the harbor, with lots to see. I would recommend it to everyone.

A good hotel in a very central location (with direct access into the mall) with good sized rooms. Possibly in need of a little modernisation - some furnishing in the rooms were damaged, the shower involved a delicate use of 2 taps to try to not get burnt/frozen by the water, and some of the lights in our room didnt work. However for the price, the location is incredibly good, the staff are helpful and the hotel is clean.

Although it is an Expedia VIP property we didn’t receive an early check in or late check out, even after asking. The hotel itself is perfectly located and the lobby is grand and beautiful. The rooms themselves (especially the bathrooms) could use updating. The breakfast was wonderful with so many options. We would definitely recommend the hotel for anybody visiting Capetown since the waterfront area has so much to do with so many restaurant and shopping choices in walking distance

Quarto com ótimo tamanho, banheiro idem. Linda vista da Table Mountain. Localização do hotel é a melhor de Cape Town. Mobília muito datada, já antiga, porém clássica. Box pequeno com chuveiro extremamente baixo, que por diversas vezes queimava, outras vezes gelava a água. Staff atencioso. Café da manhã sem igual.

Unfortunately the hotel relies solely on the location of the hotel and not the service It took 3 times( more than 16 hours) for the reception /maintenance to send someone to check the shower drain in the room and no apologies or follow up was done. I was never asked at the front desk if I needed anything or when checking out how was my stay. This hotel was very overpriced for its lack of service

This is a 5 star property and certainly lives up to its billing. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the hotel this week and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Flowers, champagne and cake in our room. Delicious food throughout, great service and brilliant location on the V A waterfront. Top marks all round.

The hotel is in an amazing location near the mall and V&A waterfront. I had a great stay, and the staff is very friendly and professional. The morning breakfast has a lot of great food options, and even an omelette station! I would definitely stay here again when I return to Cape Town!

Liked that the property is located in the waterfront! Best hotel I have erred stayed at. Best service I have ever received. Table Bay hotel is 1 of 1. There is none better. The morning buffet breakfast is superb! Love the gift baskets that the hotel gives its guests. The hotel staff work very hard to ensure that the guests have an enjoyable stay.

Standing in a queue for breakfast was shocking. Being referred to another dining area was a good alternative until I realised that I had to ask for cutlery, salt and pepper and the breakfast menu was poor.
