I liked that they welcomed you with a glass of champagne. Plus the room had a free beer, juice in the mini bar. The room was small, but the bathroom ok, the bed was comfortable. The internet was fast,and connected easy. They have a bar and restaurant in the lobby. But there were many good restaurants about 4 blocks away.

This hotel was surprising good. It was Clean and the staff at the 24 hour front desk was friendly and competent. the Hotel is a great value for the money the Room was spacious and clean. It is a little date and could use some updating but one can immediately this was once a great hotel and with some investment it could be a great 5 star hotel again. There is complimentary coffee and cake served daily in the lobby. a very pleasant addition to your stay

Located very close to the Frankfurt main station, it is very handy for train travellers. The room is simple, but enough wide and clean; it means a guarantee of a good sleep. A glass of zekt, German sparkling wine, welcomes me, and a cup of coffee and a slice of lemon cake in the afternoon at the lobby refresh tiredness of a day sightseeing, which are all compliment from the hotel. Breakfast is simple, but a good quality, especially for bread, which vitalises the energy of the day. Danke schoen.

Lovely check-in. Nice staff, you can have hot and cold drinks, fruit and cakes in reception. Helpful and friendly staff. Room big, just needs a thorough clean as dusty and shelves in bathroom dirty in places. Hotel a bit tired but overall good. Very good location straight opposite train station. Area around station not so good, red light district, lots of crime and drug taking. I don’t go out at night. Breakfast nice. WiFi good.

Staff at front desk man was helpful and friendly, but room wasn’t clean all of wall lights were dusty. Basin was leaking, shower drain was not draining quick enough. Kettle was not clean, my wife was beaten by insects. They said minibar is free but only water was give and other drink give once. Cola and beer was one bottle for two persons.

It’s right outside of the main station which is handy but it’s also noisy. Once inside, the hotel is lovely. Though they say international TV none of the English stations listed worked and neither did captions. Taxis park out front which is very nice. There’s many restaurants in walking distance.

Hotel Monopol is a beautiful hotel with lots of character. It's location is very convenient with how close it is to the main train station, but that also means there is train noise. The immediate area is a bit dingy as well. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with a nice bathroom and fans to keep it cool. It was generally clean, except for a few key spots that were missed. The breakfast was generous and tasty. Our only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable.

The room was satisfactory for a single although I was surprised there was no A/C. A hot summer day but the room was bearable due to a decent fan and that my window received no afternoon sun. Room & lobby Food and drink benefits were good. Passed on breakfast which was €15. Front desk staff mixed. The Asian staff were friendly and helpful. The German reception area staff the opposite.

Reserved the King Room and were very happy. Had everything we needed! We will definitely stay here in the future. Loved the location next to the main train station. Also on the tram and bus routes in front of the hotel. Had a Cable TV, big bathroom, shower was wonderful, refrigerator with free drinks, a very comfortable king bed, lots of closet space, luggage rack, 2 chairs, small table, a desk with a chair and coffee maker. The daily breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices.

What a great hotel to stay at. My husband and I came to Frankfurt for 2 nights and I came across this hotel to book. We received a welcome drink upon check in. We had a big room with a king bed and a free mini bar in the fridge that was stocked daily. Coffee was in the reception area in the morning. It’s a beautiful older hotel with large and clean rooms! The staff were super friendly and gave advice on where to eat. The location is perfect with just across the street from Central Station. Thank-you for the wonderful stay!

Although it's right across the street from the train station, the hotel is very quiet in the back wing. The rooms are minimal but perfectly sufficient. The staff was super nice, and the breakfast buffet a bargain. For an early train there's no better place. I stayed several nights and am very pleased with the stay.

チェックイン時からレセプションに居る女性スタッフが非常に冷たく、質問にも答えてもらえないような対応を受けた。こちらを見もせずパソコンの画面を見て対応された。ドイツで10以上のホテルに泊まったが、みんな親切でしたがここは酷いです。早口の英語で喋って、聞き返しても教えてもらえません。当方は海外駐在員なのでそれなりに英語には自信があります。レセプションとコミュニケーションが取れないので非常にストレスでした。部屋も異常に汚く、はだしでは歩けませんので靴を履いていました。ミニバーが無料ですが、補充されませんでした。また、駐車場が鳩だらけで狭く汚いです。駐車場のスタッフは親切だったのでそれは良かったです。車を停めたら、鳩の巣が真横にあり、鳩が私の頭の上に止まりました。駐車場の仕組みも難しいのですが、レセプションの女性が教えてくれなかったので、試行錯誤で自分でやりました。駅の真横なので、電車を使う人には良いですが、私のように車での旅行者には向きません。近くは非常に汚い街なので、日本人だと引くと思います。当方、2か国に駐在経験ありますが、これほど汚い街はそうはありません。ドイツとは思えないところでした。設備も古く、すべてが汚いのでここに泊ることは一生ないと思います。どうか皆様気を付けてください。

The staff was absolutely wonderful. I was initially a little worried, booking a hotel by the Frankfurt trainstation and decided to choose it mainly for price and location. I'm so glad I did. The hotel is lovely, the rooms a nice and very clean and the staff absolutely wonderful. Attention to detail makes this hotel a little gem. Thank you

Good condition. Very easy to go back to Frankfurt main if heading to train, steps away. I'm elderly, it's a very convenient location for transfer the next day. Keep in mind that Frankfurt main might not open 24 hrs.

The location is amazing. It’s literally across the street from the main train station. I only stayed one night prior to going to airport so convenient. Easy to find your way back from anywhere because most trains, subway and buses go to the main station. The lobby was very fancy looking. Working elevator. Super cute room, clean free mini fridge with drinks. Having attend in multiple hotels over 2 weeks it was definitely my favorite. After reading reviews about area not being safe because of drugs gangs I did not walk from hotel to things I wanted to see but took quick transportation away from station and felt safe. Also was never concerned about crossing the street to the hotel from station. Would stay there again

Lovely check-in. Nice staff, you can have hot and cold drinks, fruit and cakes in reception. Helpful and friendly staff. Room big, just needs a thorough clean as dusty and shelves in bathroom dirty in places. Hotel a bit tired but overall good. Very good location straight opposite train station. Area around station not so good, red light district, lots of crime and drug taking. I don’t go out at night. Breakfast nice. WiFi good.

Estadia maravilhosa! O preço é ótimo para o padrão. Café da manhã absolutamente incrível, com muitas opções, mais do que eu imaginava, pelo preço (continha até mesmo salmão e uma maquina de cafés variados). Dizem que pelo fato de ser próximo à Hauptbanhof há muito barulho: não há! As janelas são pesadas e vedam muito bem qualquer som, exatamente como o existente no sistema alemão. Eu dormi tranquilamente todas as noites e não acordei com som algum. Também reclamaram de pessoas embriagadas e alteradas na região. Sim, existem! Mas eu moro em São Paulo, Brasil, e aqui a situação é bem pior, de modo que não me senti nem um pouco assustado com a situação próxima ao Hotel Monopol. Pega suas coisas, sai esperto, como em qualquer lugar e ninguém vai te perturbar. Há também o fato de que o frigobar é incluso no pagamento, incluindo bebidas adicionais que podem ser pedidas durante os dias. Em resumo: foi perfeito. Funcionarios atenciosos. Limpeza feita quando exigida. Troca de lixo. Água quente e fria em todas as torneiras. Troca de roupa de cama e de banho. Tudo, tudo. Nada a reclamar! La ubicación es alado de la central de trenes. Por lo que llegas muy rápido. Caminas 5 min y estas en el río y caminas por el malecon hacia el centro de Frankfurt. El desayuno del hotel cuesta 15 euros y vale totalmente la pena, está el bufet muy surtido y la atencion de Filomena super bien y muy amable. Los cuartos amplios, los baños estan remodelados, descansamos muy bien. La atencion del recepcionista muy bien. El check out es hasta las 12:00.
La ubicación es alado de la central de trenes. Por lo que llegas muy rápido. Caminas 5 min y estas en el río y caminas por el malecon hacia el centro de Frankfurt. El desayuno del hotel cuesta 15 euros y vale totalmente la pena, está el bufet muy surtido y la atencion de Filomena super bien y muy amable. Los cuartos amplios, los baños estan remodelados, descansamos muy bien. La atencion del recepcionista muy bien. El check out es hasta las 12:00.

This hotel was surprising good. It was Clean and the staff at the 24 hour front desk was friendly and competent. the Hotel is a great value for the money the Room was spacious and clean. It is a little date and could use some updating but one can immediately this was once a great hotel and with some investment it could be a great 5 star hotel again. There is complimentary coffee and cake served daily in the lobby. a very pleasant addition to your stay

The hotel had no aircondition and that was very bad. Outside the temperature were 31 degrees, inside the room it was much hotter! They had put a fan with high noice in the room and it didn’t help at all. We had a bad night because of that. Otherwise it was a good hotel.
