There are a lot of options close to this place with better facilities, rooms are much smaller than what you think and the noise level is disturbing if you are looking for a good night sleep. Parking does not come included and it is 25 per night, you are better of using the public parking garage of which there are many optons

A good hotel near a metro station tucked away a little bit near the Main Street and the Palace. Only disappointment was the bars advertised were not open. Near fast food options and tapas bars.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Casón del Tormes. It is in a very central location and close to transport links. We paid in advance for a superior room and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was of good quality and had a good range of options including fresh fruit. There was a filtered water machine and a coffee machine (both free) in the lovely hotel lobby. We only stayed 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay for longer.

The hotel is located conveniently near a metro station and right by the Gran Via. The main lobby is pleasant. They have complimentary coffee, tea and water (both flat and sparkling). We had some issues with our check in that were not the fault of reception but this seemed to distract the employee who checked us in. Because of this, he didn't tell us anything about the property. We had to continually come and ask about wifi, complimentary services, breakfast, etc. The rooms are okay, certainly nothing special. They were clean and included the essentials. All in all, it was a good option for our overnight stay in Madrid.

Room was quite big, especially compared to comparable lodging we stayed in during our trip to Spain. Air conditioning worked great, always cold water, sparkling water and coffee available in lobby. Lobby was cute and good sized. There was a bar on the premises, but it never appeared to be open - I think you had to ask the front desk for service if you wanted bar service. Breakfast was average but reliable. Good coffee! Would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel a tre stelle con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Esternamente ha un aspetto modesto, in tipico stile popolare inglese a mattoncini e finestroni rettangolari con infissi bianchi. Internamente, invece, si presenta con un'ampia ed accogliente hall. L'ascensore è poco contemporaneo, con ai piani l'apertura manuale della controporta. La camera assegnataci ha mostrato un arredamento un po' anacronistico ma comunque piacevole, ampia e pulita. Letto matrimoniale grande e molto comodo. Bagno anch'esso spazioso, pulito e munito di tutto l'occorrente, dall'asciugacapelli al vasto kit di cortesia. Presenti poi un ampio armadio, una piccola cassaforte, un tv a schermo piatto, un frigobar (con soltanto una bottiglia d'acqua a 2,60€) ed una macchina da caffè con quattro cialde Nespresso. Insomma, tutto ciò che serve per un buon soggiorno. Ho letto che alcuni recensori avevano lamentato la mancanza di prese elettriche, ma io ne ho trovate di sufficienti, ciascuna composta da una presa Schuko e due prese USB Type A. Il panorama dalla finestra effettivamente non è dei migliori. Ambiente e zona molto silenziosi: a disturbare può essere soltanto il poco rispetto di altri ospiti nel caso escano presto di camera. WiFi gratuito con un buon segnale in tutti gli ambienti. Punto forte dell'hotel è la posizione, praticamente adiacente Plaza de España, a meno di 200 mt dall'omonima fermata della metro: la maggior parte dei luoghi d'interesse turistico sono arrivabili anche a piedi.

Localización muy buena cerca de todo. Tuvimos problemas llegando con el GOS pero después que llamamos, recepción nos atendió muy amable y nos dirigió hasta que llegamos. Muy limpio todo, nada de ruidos y muy buenos desayunos.

Gran atencion del personal, te ayidan con taxis, informacion, el check in rapido. Ubicacion inmejorable. La limpieza excelente en verdad

Très déçus aux vues des nombreux commentaires positifs ! Pour commencer, nous sommes arrivés à 14h et la chambre n’était pas prête. Nous sommes revenus à 15h, le sol était encore mouillé. Le ménage n’a pas été bien fait : des poils, saletés dans la salle de bain et les toilettes. Nous étions dans une chambre en plein axe de passage, nous entendions tout le monde monter et descendre les escaliers. La chambre était très mal isolée, on entendait les chambres autour et la rue. En plus de ces bruits, on entendait un bruit insupportable de dilatation de tuyau du radiateur en permanence. Ça nous a réveillé plusieurs fois. Le chauffage était non réglable et il faisait une chaleur incessante : obligé de mettre la Clim en plein moi de février avec le chauffage qui tourne à bloc : pas écologique du tout. Cependant, l’emplacement est idéal, les draps étaient propres et les lits confortables. Le personnel a été agréable. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel et ne le conseillons pas! 126€ la nuit pour mal dormir, très décevant.

Det luktade mögel i vårt rum. Fick inte byta för det fanns inga lediga rum. Massa damm på golvet. Hårda sängar. Lyhört.

This hotel is located is an excellent area. I was impressed with cleanliness of the hotel and room, however I was extremely disappointed with the fact that they intentionally shut down the air conditioner in all rooms during cold season so we had to keep windows open which would then make the room extremely cold and had to wake up in middle of night to close it. I complained the front clerk and I was told that they have received the same complaint from others. They said owners are aware of the issue but changes have not been made. This truly ruins the experience because we couldn’t really be comfortable in our room. The front clerk Victor was very very friendly and professional, thank you Victor!!

My only complaint would be the Air conditioning, it was tapped at 19 and it would have been OK but it never got to 19 in the room. It got very very warm and was hard to sleep especially with it being 37 outside.

Very loud street noise. Garbage cans located outside our window and garbage trucks come in the middle of the night. You could hear noise from nearby rooms and the street.

Excellent location, clean room but a bit outdated, not sound proof rooms. Pillows were not very comfortable

Lo malo es que las paredes entre habitaciones son muy delgadas y se escucha todo como si no hubiera pared, no puedes hablar (si, hablar) porque el huésped vecino te golpea la pared para calmarte y encima te hablan de recepción para decirte qué hay huéspedes molestos, muy mala experiencia. Por lo demás esta bien, ubicación, limpieza etc

This hotel was set back about 20 years I bet. The hotel had physical metal keys for the doors, which was a surprise. I had to carry around this giant plastic block that was attached to the key throughout the day. The elevators had the normal operating door and the exterior door, and the bathroom was set back a ways. The hair dryer was attached to the wall, easily 20 years old. It had duct tape on it to help the wires from fraying out. For our entire trip, we were most disappointed in this one.

Room a bit dated but reasonably clean and comfortable. Common areas (corridor carpets, etc) on the dirty side. Location good but overpriced. Not much warmth from staff. Meh experience for $385/night.

Location perfetta: comoda, vicino alla gran via, store per lo shopping e market vicino. Ambiente riservato, cura nei dettagli. Staff preparato e gentilissimo, ci hanno addirittura consegnato la nostra camera con anticipo, cosa non banale! Consigliatissimo

O hotel é justo, bom custo-benefício, a localização é excelente! O café da manhã é o único ponto ruim, mas como está próximo a Gran via tem muitos bons cafés próximos!

Me encantó el hotel, el servicio y la ubicación. El desayuno ofrece varias opciones, todas de excelente calidad. Es exactamente como se ofrece y es descrito en el perfil.
