Great location for this modern and clean hotel in central Reykjavik. The rooms are small pods with sleeping for two plus a small standing area. Communal bathrooms. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and stay was hassle free. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception area. Food and drink available to purchase using wristband. Nice hot tub on the roof. If you are familiar with this type of hotel you will not be disappointed.

It’s a Pod Hotel. I loved it. I chose the upper berth, clean, safe, really cute with a hot tub on the roof and kitchen amenities (shared refrigerator, microwave, George Foreman grill, plus beer and wine for sale). The staff can recommend great outings for every price range, including a $6 USD public bathing spot and a nearby park with waterfalls. The excellent and centrally located.

Place was very clean and surprisingly quiet for such tight quarters, we slept very well. The hot tub was a nice addition and the kitchen was very clean and the vending selections were great as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Thhey utilize their space well. We stayed in a hub. We opted for the lower bunk. Just the right space that we need to sleep. They have outdoor hot tub. They have a common room where they have ice machine, fridge and microwave. They have self-serve bar and vending machines in the property. It's witing walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, cafe’s, small groceries. You'll need to drive to other places. There are buses around too. There are options for parking, and we used a parking garage a block away.

Overall a good experience! Hot tub is nice and the washrooms are good. Common kitchen is also good and if you are beginning your trip check out the free shelves in the fridge for supplies! Had a few hiccups figuring out the check-in but we eventually found the barcode we had to scan since the staff were unavailable when we arrived. Cozy room but enough space to open the suitcase! Beware that there is no onsite parking and you will need to walk from a free zone or research the parking zone system. It was a bit confusing for us as we couldn’t use the parking app.

What a wonderfull place to end my journey in Iceland. Very modern, clean and cozy. Staff is super friendly and helpfull. Perfect place to relax after a long road trip before going back home. The highlight is definitely the hottub on the rooftop! Make sure to check it out. Or have a drink in the hangout area and meet other travellers on their journey

Cool cube hotel - self check in and check out but always someone available to help you when needed. The room was amazing with thoughtful little touches. Hot tub area is great, however, water wasn’t that hot.

City Hub is a great place to stay in Reykjavik. It's right in the heart of downtown and it's very affordable. I had a movie room which was cozy with a giant TV at the foot of the bed, and the bed and pillow was super comfortable. It was very quiet too and the bathrooms are spotless and modern. The kitchen dining area is spacious and comfortable and there was always a host or hostess available to answer questions and recommend places to see.

I really enjoyed my stay overall, my hub was quiet, the bathrooms were relatively clean and well-stocked, and the staff was great for providing recommendations! However, my sheets were dirty and covered in hairs when I arrived and I had to change them myself which is not what I wanted to be doing after a long travel day at 11pm.

The rooms are small, very small. Hard even to find place to suitcases. But clean and nice, and with a kimono to each. Common bathrooms fine, except that the zinkdesk was always flooded. In the common room all the hotel had to share one refrigerator, making it a bit crowded. Good location and very quiet in the rooms. Helpfull service.

Was very clean in both the rooms and the common area. Bathrooms are very clean, which is a major plus when sharing the space. The staff was very helpful and there to answer any questions during all hours of the day. It is right around the corner from everything in, and a very walkable city. All the rooms are very quiet, you don’t hear anyone else in the pods besides for doors being shut and that is once every so often. A great option for any solo travelers or couples. I will 100% be back!

The staff was super friendly and beyond helpful regarding directions, reservations for taxis, and excellent restaurant recommendations. The rooms are adequate in size (for a pod) super clean everything! The bathrooms were spotless, the dinning area is open and well lit (i visited during late autumn). Great experience.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at CityHub. The installations are modern, the pods are nice and comfortable, the bathrooms and the lounge/kitchen area is clean. The staff is also super nice. The only downsides: hairdryer didn’t work on the 4th floor and was never fixed despite telling staff multiple times, pods can shake a bit when someone closes a door with force and toilet paper was often lacking in one or both of the toilets on our floor. But generally, for the price, we were really happy with our stay! We recommend going there.

Amazing spot center of town close to so many walkable things. The pods were cute, I would recommend this place for any younger solo traveler. The pods were a comfortable sleep I loved being able to change the lighting, and the self service bar area was pretty cool, and a good place to sit and relax/eat. Parking was easy on a Sunday night free, not sure about other days. The only downside was that the bathroom floor was constantly soaking wet.

So this is a mixed bag review. Love the concept and the hotel itself is really nice, well run, and convenient. The convenience machine was out of order and they ran out of beer at the bar, but otherwise it’s a nice facility. The problem ended up being that I had a massive case of jet lag that triggered claustrophobic panic due to the small, somewhat cramped, room. So I had to leave and get another, more traditional, hotel. That said, the staff were AMAZING in helping me out. The hot tub is great and the overall atmosphere is cozy. If you’re ok with small spaces and only staying for a night or two I think this ks a great option.

The only thing I didn't like was the room. It was very cramped. There was no room for a table, chair or really no where to put your luggage except on the floor

CityHub Reykjavik is the most compact accomodation I have ever stayed in. Having said that, they organise it very well and it works. We enjoyed our stay and it did the job. Good value for money.

Staying at Cityhub was comfortable and enjoyable, we stayed in a twin hub and it was perfect to sleep in. Standing space for changing and going through bags is limited in the pods. Was very walkable to the main shopping area. Overall, we would absolutely stay in a city hub again after our experience here!

Great location and price for a quirky hotel. It had every amenity I could ask for, but the temperature inside the capsule was very uncomfortable. The listing indicated air-conditioning and heating. After checking in we found out that we need to download an app to control the lights and ventilation. The problem was that I could only select ventilation boost on or off, but there was no change. I woke up multiple times dripping with sweat. I Raven took a cold shower at 2:00am but it didn’t help. This room is perfect if you enjoy sleeping in a hot room without air flow.

Great location, central to downtown for shopping and all the restaurants. Rooms are small but comfortable, has RBG lighting and Bluetooth speakers by the beds. Definitely differentiates Cityhub against and other hotel and I would recommend staying here as a solo traveler

The City Hub is good, for what it is. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and in a really good location. The main lobby area was a good place to sit down the end of the day, which worked out well, as that could happen in the room. The room size was as pictured, but it was really difficult to have two people on the floor at the same time, especially if you had an upper bed configuration, with the ladder protruding. The room also got quite warm at night, even with the “air boost” turned on. It did the job for a couple of nights, but that’s probably enough for us.

Love the creativity put into this place and such a convenient walk to go through the center of shopping, restaurants, bars and more! Only thing that was lacking was the fact that there was little to no outlets in the room. I had to use my mac to charge my phone. Other than that, we had great stay!

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and they moved me to a lovely hotel a few minutes walk away. The compenation was a free breakfast. They informed me through email of the situation. I am really happy with the situation and wish City Hub the full success once they are fully open and all the work has been completed

Modern. Chic. Interesting concept that makes a lot of sense. Great value overall and a location that is great to see Rejkavik. The staff, especially Isabella, were absolutely awesome. They attended to multiple requests and made the stay very pleasant. For the flexible traveler who doesn't mind sharing bathroom spaces, this hub will give you something to remember.

Staff super friendly and helpful! Place was exceptionally clean and quiet. Very convenient to most things! Highly recommend! Paying for water at end was a bit of a surprise as was dufferent rates for different days. STILL HIHGLY RECOMMEND!!

Relocated from CityHub as the renovations work was being completed. The receptionist was really good in explaining the relocation to a nearby hotel where they added a free breakfast as well. Thank you.

Overall a good experience! Hot tub is nice and the washrooms are good. Common kitchen is also good and if you are beginning your trip check out the free shelves in the fridge for supplies! Had a few hiccups figuring out the check-in but we eventually found the barcode we had to scan since the staff were unavailable when we arrived. Cozy room but enough space to open the suitcase! Beware that there is no onsite parking and you will need to walk from a free zone or research the parking zone system. It was a bit confusing for us as we couldn’t use the parking app.

The staff was super friendly and beyond helpful regarding directions, reservations for taxis, and excellent restaurant recommendations. The rooms are adequate in size (for a pod) super clean everything! The bathrooms were spotless, the dinning area is open and well lit (i visited during late autumn). Great experience.

City Hub is a great place to stay in Reykjavik. It's right in the heart of downtown and it's very affordable. I had a movie room which was cozy with a giant TV at the foot of the bed, and the bed and pillow was super comfortable. It was very quiet too and the bathrooms are spotless and modern. The kitchen dining area is spacious and comfortable and there was always a host or hostess available to answer questions and recommend places to see.

Thisnplace is walking distance to major attractions in Reykjavik. There are lits of shops and restaurants to choose from. Parking is everywhere, just depends in what you're willing to pay. We walked around all day so we used the parking garage. CityHub is a really nice place. I'm amazed how the space was used. The space is small, but it’s all we need since we're just there to sleep. It's clean and facilities were well maintained. There's an outdoor hot tub which I enjoyed by myself, while looking in the sky. Unfortunately it was very cloudy that day, hence didn't see Aurora. But it was so relaxing. We're actually going back to stay on our last few days in Iceland!

So this is a mixed bag review. Love the concept and the hotel itself is really nice, well run, and convenient. The convenience machine was out of order and they ran out of beer at the bar, but otherwise it’s a nice facility. The problem ended up being that I had a massive case of jet lag that triggered claustrophobic panic due to the small, somewhat cramped, room. So I had to leave and get another, more traditional, hotel. That said, the staff were AMAZING in helping me out. The hot tub is great and the overall atmosphere is cozy. If you’re ok with small spaces and only staying for a night or two I think this ks a great option.

this was my last night after coming back from driving around the west fjords so i didnt really think i needed a place with a lot of space. the hot tub was wonderful after driving for 6 hours and much appreciated with fun city view of other rooftops. i dont know if i could have made this work with two people... would need to be a very easy going person. there is not space to stretch out except on the bed which was very roomy actually. you are meant to spend your time in the common area, which was nicely appointed, and many people were. only dissappointing thing was that the coffee was not on the house.

CityHub Reykjavík is in a great location, very clean and as advertised. Pods were a new experience for us and very fun. Hot tub was clean and a nice addition. We chose to have breakfast included, which we ate in the common area but could be taken on the go. Drinks, coffee and other items available for purchase with the wristband used to access your pod. We really enjoyed our first experience staying in a hostel. The city hub hosts and manager are super friendly and helpful. We had our breakfast included which consisted of yogurt, granola, jam , croissant, apple, juice and coffee. We enjoyed meeting other travelers of all ages. We stayed in a lower bed hub...bed is very comfortable, however not alot of room to move around and no chair. We did find the doors closing created alot of noise

The #6 "hotel bus" went by the hotel without stopping at 1:30 a.m. The road was empty, dark, no traffic. It was hard to drag heavy suitcases up the hill from the bus stop! The use of bracelets to check in and out/use vending machines, lockers, takes practice. The pods were comfortable but the coloured light show was unnecessary. The staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast adequate.

I loved my hub! It felt like home away from home. All of the staff were extremely helpful. I especially appreciated Storms updates about where to grab food, aurora visibility and other little local tidbits. The microwave was broken while I was there, it did make reheating food a little difficult without a proper stove top.
