Very affordable and good value for money. The room was very clean. Noise of traffic from rooms on the front of the hotel is loud through the night. Bathroom is not ideal, the shower floods water everywhere and the sink is so small is difficult to wash your face or do anything except hold your toothbrush under the tap. Beware, there is no lift. I didn’t realise this and arrived off a long haul flight with a 24kg bag and my room was on the 3rd floor. Thankful for the security guard who helped me.

My room, 219, was tiny, double bed and upper bunk bed squeezed in. But clean & comfortable, liquid soap & shampoo in tiny bathroom. Milk only in fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. No bedside lamp. One hanger only under a shelf. Convenient location only 10 minutes drive from the Royal Brisbane hospital & M5 and Legacy tunnels. Bus stop a few steps up the road. The only dining close by is Macca’s and a Caltex foodary across the road. My room close to Lutwitche road, so traffic noise early and late. Would recommend as a place to lay your head.

We had some issues with our stay. As there is no reception, you just use a code to access the building. Our code didn’t work. We called the company to get support but they didn’t answer (went to voicemail). We tried again 20mins later and fortunately got through. Secondly, there is a chemical smell in the building, kind of like cleaning products. Thirdly, there was dirty underwear on the floor in our room from a previous guest, disgusting.

Look its a budget hotel, i get that; but i wouldn’t recommend this hotel. My room was dirty, bathroom, shower, since in bathroom that was so mini you could barely fit a cup under nozzle to fill. Sticky resuidue on floor, widow sill. Tv remore didn’t work. No soap to wash your hands in bathroom and no hand towel to dry your hands. On main road so ridiculously noisy with traffic. Bed was nice and comfortable so that was great. Few staff around.

The room and bathroom, although small were very clean, the TV, A/C, fridge and security all worked perfectly, making a very quiet, comfortable and safe environment particularly when staying on your own. Good car parking and easily accessible to all that Brisbane has to offer on a budget.

Two different colours of several pubic looking hairs in shower, hair on pillow, little kitchen bench was sticky/tacky uncleaned, dirty stuck on debris in sink, bathroom sink too small to fill kettle, 2 cups only - no plate or bowl, shower heat and volume was great but squished up against shower curtain for even a slim body, bed was very comfortable, had air con , wifi and tv which was great. No lift.

Nice hotel for the price. Corridors and staircases a bit grotty but room was clean. Bathroom tidy, clean and functional for me but was small if more than one person in the room. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillow options. Maccas over the road was good if your in late and need food. Easy 15 minutes from the airport. Good for the price.

The shower constantly flooded the bathroom. I couldn't get the showerhead to face anywhere but directly at the wall so made showering very difficult. The first few nights were quiet the Friday night into the Saturday morning. It was a different story. It's quite loud and rowdy. But overall it was an okay visit.

Checkin was relatively easy, room was spacious enough, bathroom especially shower was far too small for a 100kgs 185cm male. Bed was 2 singles shoved together and very uncomfortable. Overall, value for money was ok, it was conveniently situated with easy access in all directions, so, 4 stars not 5.

Basic room but came with all needed ammenities. Very small but as we were not there except to sleep it was fine. Very minimal sound proofing between rooms. I would definitely return as a solo traveller but would not stay with my young child as the noises are frequent and would wake them. Also; no extra blinds so prepare to wake up early

Good value! Would have been better had there been 2 stools to sit on instead of one! The A/C remote was not working but was attended to and fixed very quickly by the Manager! Would happily stay there again.

There was no reception - it was all done by code entry check in to both building and room. This all worked well. I originally booked for two nights but extended for another 3 nights. I did this with the help of staff member via phone. No problems got to stay in the same room. The only thing was no daily room cleaning - l didn’t need it but cleaning staff didn’t knock to check whether l needed anything. I had to find them on second last day to top up toilet roll and coffee and milk. Overall my staff was quite relaxing - exactly just what l needed. I would recommend this place to stay - handy to everything and the price is reasonable.

Staff, what staff? Pathetic way to run a business, not even a complex caretaker or motel manager,. Free Breakfast cafe didn't even open. 3 floors and no lift. I was to have heart operation on the 31/10 and I was given a 3rd floor room. Tried to contact staff to change floors but no one could be reached and no one on site. 4 flights of stairs heart rate of 185, took 40 minutes and nearly resulted in a call for the ambulance. They couldn't even return my messages left on their answering machine.

The check in process is terrible and there are no hotel staff on site to help. They claimed that they had sent a code to my email address but I did not receive it. Therefore I spent almost an hour on the phone speaking to the customer services representative just to gain access to my room. That is not what you need when you are tired after a long flight. I tried to persuade Expedia to move me to a different hotel but they refused to give me a refund. Apparently, if I want to cancel I must do so by 2pm on the day of arrival, but at 2pm I had not even arrived so I did not know how bad the experience was going to be. Also, as there are no hotel staff on site I don't know what would happen if there was a fire or a bomb scare. There would be no staff avalable to ensure that everyone had left the building safely. In my opinion a reputable organisation like Expedia should not list hotels like this one.

I booked two nights at Imperial Motel and paid extra for early check-in because I had a hospital appointment that afternoon. Despite this, they never sent me the entry code, and I spent over an hour on the phone, trying to get help… just like another reviewer warned. No one answered, and neither the motel nor Expedia was helpful in resolving it. Because of the delay, I missed my appointment, and ended up not staying the two nights at all. So far, there’s been no sign of a refund either. If Expedia helps sort it out, I’ll update this review. But right now, I would not recommend staying here, especially if you need reliability. To be fair, there were a few friendly cleaners buzzing around when I arrived but that was the only part that felt human. The room and bathroom, although small were very clean, the TV, A/C, fridge and security all worked perfectly, making a very quiet, comfortable and safe environment particularly when staying on your own. Good car parking and easily accessible to all that Brisbane has to offer on a budget.

No reception. Just a code to get in front door & room door. A number to ring if any difficulties. No lift to upper floors, just stairs. Wifi free, & actually worked. My room, 219, was tiny, double bed and upper bunk bed squeezed in. But clean & comfortable, liquid soap & shampoo in tiny bathroom. Milk only in fridge, tea & coffee making facilities. No bedside lamp. One hanger only under a shelf. Convenient location only 10 minutes drive from the Royal Brisbane hospital & M5 and Legacy tunnels. Bus stop a few steps up the road. The only dining close by is Macca’s and a Caltex foodary across the road. My room close to Lutwitche road, so traffic noise early and late. Would recommend as a place to lay your head.

Was disappointed ,no reception staff,awkward check in ,no microwave in room ,showers way to small for an adult male ,water would go all over floor with shower curtain clinging to your body .Bed to short for 183 cm person .Channels 74 and 32 not working on TV so was unable to watch AFL or some decent SBS movies .

Room is clean , parking is good but you have do some improvement in rooms need microwave and window in bathroom because when we use bathroom so after that whole day water on the floor in bathroom. And bathroom is too small.

Staff, what staff? Pathetic way to run a business, not even a complex caretaker or motel manager,. Free Breakfast cafe didn't even open. 3 floors and no lift. I was to have heart operation on the 31/10 and I was given a 3rd floor room. Tried to contact staff to change floors but no one could be reached and no one on site. 4 flights of stairs heart rate of 185, took 40 minutes and nearly resulted in a call for the ambulance. They couldn't even return my messages left on their answering machine.

It’s a basic set up, but does the job of all you need is a bed and a shower, but keep the bathroom door closed or you’ll be up for a hefty fine if your shower steam sets off the alarm. Only vending machines for food, but there’s a servo and Maccas across Lutwyche Rd. No lift, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs. My room had a funky smell, but with the window open or aircon on it helped.

Nice hotel for the price. Corridors and staircases a bit grotty but room was clean. Bathroom tidy, clean and functional for me but was small if more than one person in the room. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillow options. Maccas over the road was good if your in late and need food. Easy 15 minutes from the airport. Good for the price.

Room extremely small. When u shower the bathroom is so small that water goes everywhere. And u have to keep door shut after showering or it will set off smoke alarm and u will be charged $1500. Sink is not big enough to fill kettle u have to do that by using a cup. U can make absolutely no noise in corridors but the traffic noise outside is really bad and even the shut window does not block it. No dining facilities as pictured only one microwave in foyer. Rooms are clean. Staff are really nice. Apart from one woman who said she was management who was nasty. Weather she was or not ? No reception staff on duty but u can call a call centre and they will deal with late codes ect. Close to maccas hospital showgrounds. Overnight security. And lots of steps to deal with so if u cant manage steps dont come here
