Typical old school American style large hotel. Super staff and very comfortable, although some updating needed. Pool furniture somewhat tatty. Food good and service very attentive. Helpful travel desk. May have been a 5 star back in the day, but not now!

The hotel itself was excellent. Room was nice, Service and staff were brilliant. However the pool area let it down badly. Not the pool. That was great. But the area was never cleaned or washed down on an evening. It was so dirty. Tables were not cleared and the pool side was disgusting. Need to invest in a pressure washer.

The staff did their best. The property is old n it shows. We had good service. The pool was closed. We had to go around through a locked gate to access the beach which was public beach n we had to deal with beggars n sellers n garbage n dirt. There should be more effort made to clean up the area since the Ramada is the first hotel (or last) before the chopati. We were reluctant to go out to the beach after a couple tries.

Amazing experience. Beach and street food stalls within stone throws distance. Great breakfast options. Great gym, jacuzzi and steam room. If come to Mumbai again I would stay here again. Whilst not modern design, functional requirements all good.

Die Bilder entsprechen nicht der Realität. Der Pool war schmutzig, und z.T. eine Baustelle. Von Poolbar etc keine Spur. Außerdem hatte das ganze Hotel gemüffelt. Einiges am der Zimmerausschattung war defekt. Bitte unbedingt dis Zimmer vorher anschauen vor dem Check in. Wir mussten den vollen Preis zahlen obwohl wir aufgrund der oben genannten Gründe direkt wieder gegangen sind!

The room was always as cold as a fridge; the heating system didn't work; the shower room stank of sewerage in the shower cubicle; and the suit I gave for dry cleaning came back almost the same as I sent it. The room was spotless and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was extremely polite and always pleasantly helpful. The front desk staff was cordial. I would stay there again. The only problem is that they need to fix the plumbing in the bathroom; when taking a shower, the water floods and fills up, so you're standing in two inches of water.

Back to the 1980ies feeling when it comes to room and facilities. Room is large enough, but lack of a hand held shower head is a bit of a drawback. On the positive side swimming pool is nice with deeper areas allowing a proper swim. This holtel has quite helpful personnell at the entrance that we appreciated a lot when getting our luggage and ourselves into a taxi. All in all it is an ok hotel that could do with some changes to bring it to the XXI century. Area around is a bit challenging - at times very heavy traffic on the road just outside hotel premises. People "begging" for money just outside the gate can be a challenge, as some are quite intense in their pursuit of not just a few coins, but rather larger bills. Rooms at the back have not much of a view, but are probably quieter than those facing the road. However for plane enthusiasts, rooms facing the road could be fun - you can get a glimpse of planes taking off frm BOM airport.

The Executive Salon Room, with Full Sea/Beach View, is probably the best place to spend a vacation with family in Mumbai. The Room offers spectacular view of the sunset in the Arabian Sea. The good food and extremely helpful nature of the staff made our stay even more memorable.

Good location on the beach. Very courteous and friendly service by the staff at dining, housekeeping and baggage services Only complaint is that we got charged more than the rate quoted on our booking, as hotel took a commission on dollar rate so we ended up paying interest. They should have warned us about this before they effected payment on my card as I would have paid by INR instead of CAD. Other than that no complaints.

Hotel was good.. nothing great.. just a convinient location to the juhu beach.. Rooms were normal and clean.. staff was busy but trying their best.. The wierd part was that they were not allowing outside food.. and they dint give Plates and cuttlery in the room saying outside food is not allowed.. seems like they were trying too hard to sell their restaurant food.. but they have to understand if someone is visiting Juhu they would want to enjoy the local food around as there are so many good options..so they shouldnt restrict.. maybe get a waiver signed for people consuming outside food to protect them.

Location was perfectly close to juhu chowpatty and juhu koliwada. Hotel atmosphere was relaxed and clean. Room seemed outdated but amenities were up to date. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are just wonderful, courteous and very helpful. They upgraded us to the ocean view room. They even provided an extra rolling bed. They provided 2 large bottles of water everyday and more if needed (don’t drink tap water!). There is a in-house Travel representative who is very helpful with arranging private drivers. For short distances use the rickshaw…quite the experience! Hotel restaurant service is good. Surrounding area-Easy access to the Juhu beach which was nice but you will be pestered by beggars. Surrounding Juhu area is very congested, dirty, excessive traffic that does not follow any rules, minimal footpaths so you have to walk on the roads like locals. There are no pedestrian crossings. So when walking around be careful and vigilant as it is like navigating an assault course. This would be the case with any other local hotels. I

Overall the hotel is lovely and in a great location, very close to Juhu Beach. Service and cleanliness was generally very good. Couple of down sides - hotel charged us for tea as our flight was very early even though it included breakfast! The breakfast area is narrow in places causing accidents. That said it was a good stay.

Good for a few nights stay. The breakfasts were very basic. On our first day, it was outside near the pool, i didn't trust that no flies landed in the food throughout the 3 hours of breakfast. The cereal was stable and the milk was warm as it had been left out for a while. The pastries were very stale. However the 2nd day, the breakfast was inside and the selection of Indian food was better. However the cereal , milk and pastries were the same as the day before. Is a good place to stay if you need to get around the northern part of Mumbai as traffic is ridiculous and chaotic.
