From the time that we arrived and checked in the service was impeccable. The valets made dropping off your vehicle and unloading very easy. The room and the accommodations were immaculate. The updated bathrooms were wonderful and the showers were roomy and very, very clean. Beds and the bedding were very comfortable. The overall location was awesome. We were able to walk around old Quebec city in any direction at any time of the day. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room, good facilities, right in the heart of all the tourist action. The gym, though tiny, is quite useful. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. The hotel gets busy and so leave time for checking in.

Staff was very nice Room was clean Not too large but that was expected, it served it's purpose without a doubt. Hotel is nice as well, pleasant experience! Hotel does not have a parking lot BUT there is parking on the street or for peace of mind they offer valet service for an additional fee, which is worth it in my opinion. I look forward to coming back!

Fantastic location in the old town, comfortable beds, heated bathroom floors, nice restaurant/bar onsite. Great staff. Fitness center in basement was pretty spartan but just a short way from the plains of Abraham if you want a great place to run in the mornings.

Great Location, restaurants and Xmas Market near by... the description on your web site says " Parking available" it should say " Valet Parking" which is probably twice the price or more that if you cross the street and park it yourself in a huge underground parking and walk for 3 minutes back to the hotel....

Quiet hotel with a luxurious, boutique feel. Located steps away from Notre Dame and Frontenac, 5 min walk from cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Was debating between this hotel and another closer to the Parliament Building (similar price) and glad I went with this one. Not too many amenities in the hotel (just a gym), but for me that was fine. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was updated with an awesome shower. Couldn’t ask for more on my winter vacation, enjoyed the Carnival as well!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and we can walk to all attractions. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Bathroom, bed, everything are excellent. Alex at the front desk gave us good suggestions and we enjoyed the onion soup at lower town. We visited the restaurant Les Mordus on the main floor and it is great. Thank you and we will visit again when we next visit Quebec City.

The location was great and the staffs were friendly. The room wasn't so clean. Saw hairs on the bathroom floor and inside the drawer when we first checked in. You can't have it all.

This is one of the best hotel stays in our wide travel experience. Service from every member of staff was excellent. The hotel was spotless with great beds, linen, pillows, etc. It is a five star hotel with a 3.5 star price. Location was unbeatable!

The room was terrific. Very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping kept everything shiny and clean. The front desk staff were nice but not overly helpful. We were double charged for our room, had no idea where a grocery store was, said we could get a late check out on the day of departure and then made it seems like a huge deal when asked, couldn't order us a taxi either so we downloaded an app to be told by the valet while standing and waiting that it is literally their job to help us. Maybe staff need more training?

We saw staff frequently cleaning areas, keeping the place up. Our room was spacious and the room attendant was right on it in the morning, having our room made up by the time we went back up after breakfast. Parking, managed by valets, was extraordinarily easily. The seating area in front of the registration area was very comfortable. Meals were excellent. The hotel is located right there in the heart of old Quebec City.

Overall the hotel is very good in most aspects. The furnishing and decor is quite old-fashioned to my taste. One feature we especially did not like is the bathroom double doors having glass inserts because these were right next to the bed. So, if your partner wakes up in the middle of the night and turns on the bathroom light, the glare will wake up the person still in bed trying to sleep. They could simply have put the bathroom door in the wall where the shower is located, or change the bathroom doors to be solid.

The hotel is near the castle, very close, opposite the town center. You can choose valet parking or self-parking. Self-parking is $18 each day. It is very convenient for eating and shopping, and it is also very close to the popular brunch restaurant, so you don't need to drive at all. The room we stayed in was not big, and we could only sit on the bed after opening the suitcase.

We were very happy with our stay here! The hotel was very traditional looking, but the rooms were more modern and renovated. It was also great because it is walking distance to everything. The best part was the staff and the customer service, from the front desk, to the cleaning staff and the best was the valet attendant. The gentleman there was top notch and cared about the guests! All in all we would definitely come back to this hotel if we come back to Quebec City!

The service was disappointing. I had booked two nights in a king bed room for a family trip. On the first night, we needed a room with two beds. The front desk initially said one was available but required manager approval. Unfortunately, the manager denied the request. After we had settled into the room, the manager called to say we could switch to a double-bed room, but only if we paid extra—and even though we needed it for just one night, we were told we had to pay for both nights. This policy felt both unreasonable and inflexible.

We loved Hotel Clarendon because it was a classic older hotel in great condition, centrally located in Old Quebec, and very walkable to restaurants, shopping and all the beautiful sites of the old city. Most importantly, the staff was attentive, polite and helpful. I would stay there again - a much greater value than the Chateau Frontenac!

The location was amazing. Very walkable. I cannot imagine a better location to stay in beautiful Quebec city. Valet parking was very easy and very efficient. Hotel is close to many wonderful restaurants. We came for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. Would definitely stay at the Hotel Clarendon again. Highly recommend!

The restaurant in the hotel was excellent . Very central location so many other restaurants within easy walking distance . Hotel very clean and staff helpful and friendly . My only complaint were the uncomfortable lumpy pillows .

Our room was beautiful, updated, and perfectly clean. Every staff member we came across was friendly and helpful. We truly loved our stay. Having said that, I would recommend just skipping the restaurant for breakfast. The service just barely earns a description of fair, and at least one wait staff member was clearly not happy dealing with an English speaker. And there are plenty of excellent breakfast options nearby, at better prices.

I loved this place so much I won’t ever stay anywhere else in Quebec ever again! The location was wonderful and the brunch there was amazing. We ate there every single morning and other breakfast around did not compete. Everything was very clean
