This is a lovely hotel: nice staff, immaculate rooms, lovely amenities, and of very nice quality. We had a lovely stay here, enjoying a complimentary sunset cruise one evening too! My only critique would be the beach club: it is very nice, pool is lovely, food is nice - but there is rarely a sun lounger, let alone two. I think with a hotel of this standard this is probably a necessity - we had to go away and come back on a couple of occasions just to get a bed, and in an area like Slimena, which is lovely but doesn’t have a lot of alternative options, this probably should be resolved. The new rooftop pool helps to combat this, but the sun lounger issue is the same there, and oddly used towels were used when we were there. A lovely hotel I would certainly recommend, but I think perhaps they should reconsider selling access to the beach club and rather just leave it to hotel guests in peak season to ensure there’s enough space for paying guests.

The hotel was in a good location with free access to a beach club and the room was kept extremely clean, thanks to staff Azam! Unfortunately the pool is accessed via a booking system and during our 3 days there was no availability, we went up to the pool to check and the sun-beds were empty yet we were still told they were fully booked. This ruined my birthday as one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a pool.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Convenient location, beautiful infinity pool, and spa. The hotel offered complimentary sunset cruise and bus tour. Every night they placed cards in the room with cute quotations and a little gift. Complimentary water and Prosecco in the lobby everyday.

The hotel is very nice but upgraded rooms for example a superior from a standard there is not much difference. It’s also a shame that the beach location shuts at 6pm and you have to book to use the rooftop and indoor pool. Other than that a modest stay.

We had a nice stay at 1926 le Soleil. The rooftop terrace was lovely in the sun and it is great that you can book the cabanas to enjoy along with the rooftop pool. It is in a great location to explore Sliema and perfectly situated to grab the ferry to Valetta

Very good hotel. Would recommend but you do need to book a top floor if you want any view. Lots and lots of building work is going on in the area but did not disturb us. Food is excellent and service is superb. Small roof pool and spa are good. But beach club and pool overlooking the sea is only open may to October. Which is a walk away from the hotel not adjacent.

Very good hotel. Well decorated. New rooftop pool very nice. App to book onto things and request services was very good. Breakfast nice and Soel waiter very good. Had food at the beach club one evening also and it was lovely food and beautiful views. Complementary sunset boat cruise was very good. Other complementary trips also available but we did not use. Spa nice. Some construction work going on opposite hotel but to be honest we barley heard any noise from it.

Leider konnte das Hotel nicht überzeugen. Der Pool am Meer war sauber, elegant und war das Beste an dem Hotel (Getränke und Essen von außerhalb sind aber nicht erlaubt; muss immer vom teuren Restaurant bezogen werden). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist auch positiv hervorzuheben. Leider reicht das nicht, denn das Zimmer war für ein 4 Sterne Hotel in einem schlechten Zustand. Das Pin Panel vom Safe hat sich gelöst und hing herab, weswegen wir ihn nicht nutzen wollten. Der Kühlschrank kühlt nicht. Die Einrichtung hat sich zum Teil gelöst und hing schief an der Wand. Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit im Zimmer nasse Badeklamotten aufzuhängen, in einem Hotel, das explizit für das Baden ausgelegt sein will. Das Negativste war allerdings das Bad. Der Aufbau des Bades erlaubte es nicht, die Türe zu schließen, ohne in die Dusche zu steigen, weil der Schwenkradius der Tür die komplette Badfläche einnahm. Die Duschwände verkeilten sich nervig beim Zuziehen und die Dusche hatte deutlichen Schimmel am Duschrand. Die Mängel haben wir dem Personal näher gebracht, allerdings wurde nur sporadisch nachgebessert und nach einem Tag war der Zustand wie zu Beginn. Die Baustelle gegenüber hat meist gar nicht so gestört. Vorhänge zu ziehen , dann kann auch keiner reinschauen. Einmal haben sie allerdings schon um 6 Uhr morgens angefangen mit dem Presslufthammer zu hantieren. Das aber nur am Rande, das Hotel kann nur bedingt etwas dafür, dass halb Sliema eine Baustelle ist.

I would not consider this a 4 Star hotel as described. Although the front desk service was generally good, except for one occasion, and the beach club and pool were good, the quality and cleanliness of the rooms was not really good enough. We had booked a Superior room, but this was equivalent to a 3 Star Premier Inn in the UK. In addition we had to be moved twice due to noise from the reception area and noise from the collection of laundry outside our bedroom window very early in the morning (05:30). One of the rooms had nails protruding from the architrave and the fridge did not work and had to be replaced, and in another the drainage channel to the shower had collapsed. The cleaning of the rooms was also not great, with marks on doors when we arrived not being cleaned for the whole of the stay in each room. In addition cups were left unwashed on a couple of occasions and complementary water and tea not topped up on a couple of occasions.

The hotel is very clean and modern with only hangong space and no drawers. My room was one of the smaller doubles and looked out onto building work which started before 8 most mornings so it was a bit noisy. The fiod at the beachclub is very good but it is a 5 minute walk away.

We booked a junior suite, the internal space was good but the balcony was very narrow no room for a table. We had to request extra hangers as there were only about 9 provided and there are no drawers. The water pressure was low & no mini bar. However the maids did an excellent job. The breakfast was poor either cold boiled eggs which tasted slightly pickled or powdery tasting scrambled eggs were the only eggs on offer. Last orders at the bar 11pm. The beach club was good but busy, service was excellent there.

For the price point I would not recommend this hotel. The room was very small. Lots of noise in the hallway and you can hear your neighbor in the other rooms. Breakfast was very very bad, very poor selection. The staff was good, location good. I think most people stay here for the pool club. This hotel does large tour groups, so many mornings the lobby and breakfast was over crowded. I would not recommend this hotel. There are many nice hotels in Malta for a better price and experience. There is currently a large construction project across the street, so if you have a room by the street you hear this construction.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely destroyed by constant, noisy building works that starts at 7am. Spa has gently playing Zen music accompanied by jack hammer. Wouldn't go back to this hotel until finished, BUT I would use again once completed. A great pity that this vital piece of information wasn't on website before booking. In a built up area but actually was convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. Smallest balcony I have ever seen!

Stayed in a room on first floor, was extremely noisy. Piano in hotel lobby could be heard clearly in room. Room was also directly above bar, which played music late at night which was also heard in room. Hotel is fairly good overall and tries to provide a good experience for guests...but the fact is I got almost no sleep for days because of the above issues, so cannot recommend.

Selve rommet var helt elendig lydisolert. Vi hørte alt som foregikk utenfor rommet i gangen. I tillegg slapp det gjennom masse lys fra gangen og inn på rommet. Døren mellom vårt rom og naborommet var heller ikke lydisolert, som gjorde at vi hørte alt som foregikk der også. Sengen var like hard som gulvet. Veldig vennlig personale, og fint treningsrom.

Camera pulita, materasso un po’ troppo duro per i nostri gusti, bagno con lavandino che non scaricava fluidamente. Un po’ rumorosa dalla parte esterna. Area benessere molto carina ma troppo affollata. Personale molto gentile e preparato. Ottimo il ristorante stellato Le GV al rooftop. Discreto il secondo ristorante Margot. Posizione ottimale fuori da La Valletta ma facilmente raggiungibile. vicina a San Julian tramite piacevole camminata lungo mare. Soggiorno piacevole. Hotel consigliato nonostante qualche punto sopra menzionato.

From the moment we booked, the hotel was in touch, making sure they had everything they needed for our stay. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff were welcoming from the first hello. I had asked for a birthday surprise for my niece, and they made it happen perfectly — even tailoring it to meet our halal requirements. It’s those little touches that really make a difference. The staff here are brilliant — friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to help. I’d definitely recommend using the hotel’s taxi service instead of Bolt or Uber. The cars are clean, spacious, and really comfortable. Our airport pickup driver, Omar, was polite and professional, making our arrival stress-free. There was a small hiccup with our return transfer booking (caused by the hotel, not the taxi company), but Lucienne from the hotel sorted everything out. She suggested a better pick-up time, which meant I got an extra hour of sleep, and she got us to the airport in great time. She honestly saved the day. The location is spot-on — walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, with easy access to explore more of Malta. Our room was modern, big, and spotless, with everything we needed to be comfortable. We felt looked after from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Malta.

I had a horrible experience with not having any hot water during my stay. They just kept giving me the run around. Telling me the water doesn’t got hotter than like warm in all of Malta which was a conplete lie because by the time I was leaving the sorted it out. I was supposed to receive a refund and that never happened. My overall experience was terrible and I would never go back there or advise anyone else to go there either. Horrible service and the manager just hides from you so he doesn’t have to deal with the situation.

We stayed here mid October and from arrival to departure we were treated exceptionally well. The staff went above and beyond. Our room 803(Deluxe) was kept very clean everyday by the housekeepers and our only comment was lack of set of drawers and a shelf beside the mirror in the bathroom. Thats why we left a tip for them. The location of the hotel was very convenient to both sides of Silema and would recommend to others and will definitely be back. Thanks for making our holiday great. Love Malta.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly so thank god for that. The hotel was good but i would say the pictures are a bit different than the actual experience... If you scratch the surface nothing is really wow... I received an upgrade... Doubtful if it really was an update... could hardly open the balcony door, the bathroom i could hardly turn around in, dirty towels or sometimes no towels at all... and a few more things... All things that were fixed by the staff, but just tiring to have to ask for different things every day... The concept is also a bit hard to understand as the hotel is spread over several buildings... (I think) Ok experience because of the staff. Would I come back? Probably not...

Très bon séjour dans ce magnifique hôtel. Cependant l’application bug pour réserver les options (transats à la piscine et excursions proposée par l’hôtel) ce qui est très problématique. Par ailleurs le personnel bien qu’adorable tient un discours contradictoire d’une personne à l’autre.

The staff and the actual hotel were both unquestionably top class. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff at the pool, pool restaurant and breakfast were particularly wonderful. The hotel is conveniently situated for the Valletta ferry but the main road along the seafront was busy and rather dirty. Valletta was excellent for restaurants but Sliema was busy and noisy with traffic directly outside the eateries.

Lovely Hotel. Fantastic staff team. Spacious room with balcony. Building work opposite the main entrance but no problem at all. Rooftop pool stunning. Breakfast great with lots of choice. Hotel in a great position with short walk to the seafront. Would recommend and will return.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was a beautiful hotel, no doubts, and staff were generally friendly. HOWEVER, and this is a big however. The noise levels are obscene. We have never stayed in hotels with such thin walls. We could hear every phone call, every step in rooms above us, and even so much as the toilets flushing in the room next door. We were also placed by the lift and therefore had constant noise from this too. In addition, there is awful building works going on across the road (less than 10m away). This was obscenely loud and went on from very early on until fairly late. So, you have constant noise. We raised this and was told the manager would contact us “if there was an issue that existed”, but never said anything. This is poor as there is no way they are unaware of the issues. Other guests also complained about the same thing. Therefore, despite the lovely amenities, I would absolutely NOT reccomend staying in this hotel because of the noise and the poor way management dealt with it. Had we been booked in for longer, we likely would’ve cancelled this.

The hotel was in a great location to shops and restaurants in Sliema, as well as being close to the ferry across to Valletta (1.50€ one way, 2.80€ return) and buses. The staff were super helpful and even rang to check if we needed any arrangements for getting to the airport on the way home.

Hotel location was excellent with easy access to buses and ferries and from there to all parts of the island. Also lots of good restaurants within a short walk. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Massages in the spa were also superb - we returned for three massages each they were so good. Alex and Krishna deserve a special mention. Beach club was busy but within easy reach of the hotel. Would have been better if it opened earlier in the day. Only negative comments were that the gym was too small for the size of the hotel and that every afternoon we returned to our room to find that every light had been left on by the housekeeping staff - not too eco-friendly!

Hotel was lovely and all in all was a good stay, the only negative thing I can say is the pictures look like the pool is attached to the hotel and this isn’t the case, it is only a 5 minute walk down the road, the pool and the settings are lovely and they offer great service, however if you enjoy a late sunbathing session later in the day when it’s slightly cooler sadly they like to pack up the pool area at 5.30!! Which is annoying especially when the sun is still shining, overall the 4 day break was lovely.
