Hotel was lovely but when we got there was a wedding party. Music was booming till early hours. Reception werent helpful when we asked if had different room away from the wedding party. Why put non wedding guests right next to party. Not happy

If you want to sleep in your room make sure there is no function on. The whole hotel was vibrating and thumping with the noise. I hoped it would stop at 11pm but it went on until half past midnight. I had to be up at 6am for an early start!

The room wasn’t properly cleaned, cob webs in clear view, bath gel not topped up, carpet stained and dusty. Disappointing upon checkout the receptionist was miserable didn’t even greet me or give eye contact after keeping me waiting or even asked how my stay was so didn’t feel that she was interested enough to hear my feedback in person which is my normal preference! Restaurant staff were okay but certain items missing from the menu and had to remind them to bring my complete meal out as one item was missing which they hadn’t noticed and didn’t even come back to check if my meal was okay or not! Bear in mind it was not that busy at 5.30pm!

We had two rooms. One was ok and as expected but my experience of checking in was disappointing. Arrived at 1.15pm and was told room not ready (completely understand that room not ready till 3) but was told I could not check in - never had this before and had to check in when we arrived later that evening. This is fine if those are your rules but when checking out this morning there was a couple at10am being allowed to check in?? Our second room for daughter and son in law was not good at all. Only one towel in the room and that was dirty. There was hair in the shower and poo left in the toilet. Your night manager did apologise this morning and said should have phoned down but when arriving late not all these things were obvious. Not what I would expect for paying nearly £200 and very disappointed. Sorry

Staff were very friendly. Reception and bar area very nice and clean however room was extremely dated, not very clean. Hairs in the shower and stains on the side of bed (don’t even want to think what they could have been)

The bathroom was a bit grim- the plug closing mechanism was broken and very grimy behind the opening. The carpets were about grubby and inside the kettle was covered in limescale. Overall it was quite cheap, but not cheap enough.

I was Charged full price at £123 for 1 night for a standard Double I was given room 212 which is probably the smallest room I have ever had the mis pleasure of staying in. The bathroom was so small it was a struggle to shut the door without leaning over the toilet. I don't have a problem with them putting someone in these kinds of rooms but don't charge me full price for it.

If your a light sleeper take some ear plugs as the walls aren't sound proof at all. It didn't bother us tho as the room next door were also considerate. First time staying at a holiday inn. I would definitely consider staying again. Lovely staff and services.

Staff and service were great. Reception area was very nice but the rooms looked a little tired and could do with an update. TV had few channels that actually worked, only BBC and a few others.

Was given the tiniest room on a corner, can’t move in that bathroom at all. room was filthy. Not enough towels. A female staff on desk was constantly rude. On my last day I was told to leave as my partner was coming to visit me in my room. No money refunded either

Excellent customer service, staff were friendly and supportive all through my stay and also extra peck of checking in early before 3pm. Downside- rooms need an upgrade, fresh paints and new rugs. Housekeeping can also be improved

It's ok. Nothing more. Old buildings near the motorway, so not a quiet location. Hotels.com says it has an English restaurant, which is odd since it is mostly Korean. Food wasn't bad, but equally nothing to write home about.

Staff were very helpful and polite, the only thing I am very concerned about and will be taking further is the 10% service charge on the food and drink. On the back of the menu at the bottom and in the middle of the smallest font you can read at an eye test states that a non obligation charge of 10% will be added. Therefore when I queried the bill being over the amount I expected they could not take of the charge, even though I have no idea what the food or service was going to be like. On further investigation it appears that this surplus funds does not reach the staff for whom the tips are intended for. Further investigation exposed that a worker got £11.50 in tips for the whole month during October.

Ordered a chicken Caesar salad, disappointingly, it was terrible. I wasn't expecting haute cuisine, but it was awful. The manager did however, take it off the bill. Otherwise, overall, the room and the hotel were decent.
