I stayed at this hotel because it was on the itinerary for EF Tours. I arrived four days before the beginning date of the tour. I asked for a decent room since I was going to spend one week at this hotel, and I was given a room the pool courtyard. At 4 o’clock every day they have a DJ at the pool blasting music that is so loud inside the room that is terribly annoying. I spoke to the front desk and asked him if they could. Please decrease the volume. They told me they would see what they could do but for the next six days, nothing changed. I should be able to stay in my with peace and quiet, and that was not possible. There are very few restaurants near the hotel so basically the restaurant within the hotel is the easiest choice but the menu is a limited to two or three items, and it does not change on a daily basis. It’s basically a soup and one choice. The worst evening was linguine with botarga . I enjoy seafood, but the botarga was so overwhelmingly fishy that it was in edible. The other choice was a watery vegetable soup that was flavorless. they were apologetic and offered to order pizza for me, but at this point it was late and I was exhausted and wanted to go to bed. The breakfast is hit or miss. The scrambled eggs this morning were completely raw and uncooked. When I asked for more eggs to be made, they were surly and not happy. I had an early excursion And just had pastries.

The room was nice, the beds were comfy, however the shower was weak and toilets not very clean Swimming pool was very nice but not very clean, the loungers flip sometimes and toilets have no rubbish bins

The hotel is situated on the promenade in Palermo. The hotel provided the usual facilities in the rooms - our room had a view of the promenade - there are plenty of different Italian restaurants in the locality - you’re spoilt for choice. The staff at the hotel are helpful (particularly the Reception Staff). The swimming pool area is well maintained and staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had two nights here to complete our Sicily holiday. The hotel is expensive but it is summer. The room was spacious but the shower needs a good scrub. The pool was perfect for the hot days but railings and posts need some direct maintenance which is a feature of Sicily but should not be at this price. Location is good as it is not far to walk to the busy old town. Restaurant was very enjoyable.

A nice hotel, the pool is a lovely bonus. The staff are very friendly but service at the pool can be slow or non existent. The rooms are nice and clean. The shower water pressure is very low. Upon arrival, a few things could be explained like breakfast service, pool towel tokens, the restaurant. The dining menu is the same every night, could be varied.

The general service was just a little below the standard you would expect from a hotel costing what it did to stay there. Coffee machines did not work at breakfast, which was average. Staff were generally pleasant but some seemed dismissive. There were not enough around the bar/pool and at breakfast. Had to wait for tables to be cleared and cleaned.

Bodde här 5 nätter. Bra läge. Nära staden. Bra poolområde men toaletterna där var smutsiga varje dag! Vi provade att äta lunch vid poolen första dagen och det var bland det sämsta vi ätit. Frukosten var ok, det mesta fanns men flera mornar var maten som skulle vara varm kylskåpskall. Rummen var rymliga och bra, lite slitna.

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve never written a bad review in my life. But feel compelled to write this one. Check in nightmare with Guisseppina (sp?) - “can’t find your reservation from Expedia - it’s not our problem”. Had to escalate to manager who “found” us a room to stay in for the 3 nights despite being told they were fully booked. Pool had green algae around entire perimeter and steps all 3 days we were there - getting progressively worse each day - so never cleaned. Outdoor bar unattended for long periods of time. Manager reprimanding staff in front of guests. Filthy curtains in room. Restaurant for dinner at the hotel was awful. Cats jumping up on table while we were eating outside in the garden. Entire staff and management needs to take client service and hotel management classes from the Marriott hotel brand!

Hôtel très moyen, la chambre était remplie de taches d'humidité au sol et sur les murs. Les joints de salle de bain sont noirs et la baignoire pleine de tâches. Aucun équipement sauf un coffre et une télévision (pas de machine à café ou bouilloire, pas de fer à repasser, pas de chaussons ou peignoirs...) Le personnel n'est pas aimable (sauf notre hôtesse du petit déjeuner et le personnel du bar) : on a toujours l'air d'embêter la réception (le pire a été pour des conseils de location de voiture), jamais un bonne journée ou un remerciement. Le personnel toise les clients. La zone est très bruyante (grande route) et la chambre très mâle isolée. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel propose au client de ne pas nettoyer la chambre systématiquement contre une boisson (très bonne idée) mais l'hypocrisie réside dans l'arrière cour remplie de poubelles déversées par terre, sale au possible avec des plastiques et papiers partout par terre. Enfin, la note du bar reste une énigme : incompréhensible avec des tarifs qui changent pour les mêmes boissons et des tarifs qui ne correspondent pas à ceux affichés.

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit Pool. Die Zimmer in Poolrichtungen sind aufgrund der Poolpartys sehr laut. Wir konnten glücklicherweise das Zimmer wechseln. Jedoch war dieses um einiges kleiner und hat aus dem Abfluss gerochen.

NH Palermo is perfectly situated at the oceanfront - but the facilities clearly need to be refreshed in order the maintain 4 stars. The same goes for half of the staff, which looked a bit sad and tired. Our room at floor 4 had full oceanview and was really a 4 star room (EURO 3.900,- for 14 days breakfast incl). Hans / Denmark

Vi fik en gratis opgradering til et familie-værelse, hvilket var super. Vi fik dog en tom altan uden møbler. Vi kunne se, at de andre altaner var møbleret. Da vi spurgte, om det var muligt også at få nogle møbler på vores altan, fik vi besked om, at den var for lille. Den var dog lige så stor som de andre altaner. Personalet var ret afvisende og uforstående. Det betød så, at vi overhovedet ikke kunne bruge altanen. Derudover, var hotellet pænt og rent. God aircon. Maden er ret dyr i forhold til kvalitet.

Abbiamo trascorso il fine settimana in questo hotel, che regala una vista mozzafiato su Palermo. La struttura è molto curata, il personale estremamente gentile e sempre disponibile. Le addette alle camere prestano grande attenzione a ogni dettaglio, offrendo agli ospiti un soggiorno davvero confortevole. Merita una menzione anche il ristorante, assolutamente da provare. Un luogo in cui tornare con piacere.

The hotel provided the usual facilities in the rooms - our room had a view of the promenade - there are plenty of different Italian restaurants in the locality - you’re spoilt for choice. Check in nightmare with Guisseppina (sp?) - “can’t find your reservation from Expedia - it’s not our problem”. Had to escalate to manager who “found” us a room to stay in for the 3 nights despite being told they were fully booked. Pool had green algae around entire perimeter and steps all 3 days we were there - getting progressively worse each day - so never cleaned. Outdoor bar unattended for long periods of time. Manager reprimanding staff in front of guests. Filthy curtains in room. Restaurant for dinner at the hotel was awful. Cats jumping up on table while we were eating outside in the garden. Entire staff and management needs to take client service and hotel management classes from the Marriott hotel brand!

Staff were not very friendly at reception or the restaurant and pool bar . A long wait having to queue up for a drink at the pool bar and no pool service ! Restaurant was very slow service in the evenings. Very short staffed !

The general service was just a little below the standard you would expect from a hotel costing what it did to stay there. Coffee machines did not work at breakfast, which was average. Staff were generally pleasant but some seemed dismissive. There were not enough around the bar/pool and at breakfast. Had to wait for tables to be cleared and cleaned.

Dinner Menu. Just for tourists, should be nice to have a Pizza/Sandwich/Hamburguers. After you enjoy the City, you need to come back to the hotel and have an easy dinner. After Sunset, have a car or use the taxis. The area is dark and full of homeless. Nothing happened... but you don't feel safe walking by.

The hotel and staff are great but the area and Sicily in general is dirty and run down. Homeless people sleep in the area, the streets are dirty and poorly maintained.

Perfect for a long weekend break, NH Palermo was the ideal base for exploring the city. Only a 5 minute walk from the port and less than 10 minutes from the centre of the old town, the major sites are practically on it's doorstep. Despite the comments from some other reviews, we had no difficulty in finding on-street parking immediately in front of the hotel. The pool was a fantastic bonus during a warm city break. Breakfast was fab and we also ate in the restaurant one evening. Whilst the menu was limited, the food, and service, were superb. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed at this hotel because it was on the itinerary for EF Tours. I arrived four days before the beginning date of the tour. I asked for a decent room since I was going to spend one week at this hotel, and I was given a room the pool courtyard. At 4 o’clock every day they have a DJ at the pool blasting music that is so loud inside the room that is terribly annoying. I spoke to the front desk and asked him if they could. Please decrease the volume. They told me they would see what they could do but for the next six days, nothing changed. I should be able to stay in my with peace and quiet, and that was not possible. There are very few restaurants near the hotel so basically the restaurant within the hotel is the easiest choice but the menu is a limited to two or three items, and it does not change on a daily basis. It’s basically a soup and one choice. The worst evening was linguine with botarga . I enjoy seafood, but the botarga was so overwhelmingly fishy that it was in edible. The other choice was a watery vegetable soup that was flavorless. they were apologetic and offered to order pizza for me, but at this point it was late and I was exhausted and wanted to go to bed. The breakfast is hit or miss. The scrambled eggs this morning were completely raw and uncooked. When I asked for more eggs to be made, they were surly and not happy. I had an early excursion And just had pastries.

The hotel was wonderful! The food is delicious even though it is the same menu everyday. The pool is very nice and the Bartender is amazing at his profession. All the staff are lovely. The view from our room was beautiful. The area around the hotel is old and unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people, but that seems to be the case wherever you go lately. If the government would clean up the area and preserve the beautiful buildings and history of the area , it would be exceptional!!

We had two nights here to complete our Sicily holiday. The hotel is expensive but it is summer. The room was spacious but the shower needs a good scrub. The pool was perfect for the hot days but railings and posts need some direct maintenance which is a feature of Sicily but should not be at this price. Location is good as it is not far to walk to the busy old town. Restaurant was very enjoyable.

Upon arrival, a few things could be explained like breakfast service, pool towel tokens, the restaurant. The dining menu is the same every night, could be varied.

Un hôtel très moyen pour tout, du petit déjeuner à la chambre en passant par le restaurant. - les mêmes produits tous les matins - des produits insipides, mal réchauffés et mal cuisinés. Les jus de fruits sont imbuvables, je vous conseille de commander tous les matins un jus de fruit frais à un serveur. Ne demandez surtout pas une omelette, vous aurez le droit à une espèce de pancake recouverte d'un morceau de champignon, baignant dans 2L d'huile d'olive.... - des serveurs peu aimables. Dès que votre fourchette est posée on vient vous arracher votre assiette considérant que vous avez terminé. Lorsque nous avons testé le restaurant, un serveur a soupiré et levé les yeux au ciel face aux clientes qui ne comprenait pas un plat... - une chambre pas propre. Des traces de tartre partout dans la salle de bain. Moisissure sur les joins de la douche. Une douche mal conçue qui fait de la salle de bain une piscine. - chambre non nettoyée pendant 2 jours. Il faut impérativement mettre le bandeau sur la poignée si vous voulez que les personnes passent ... - le mini bar presque vide et ne fonctionnant pas. Un technicien devait passer pour le réparer afin que nous puissions avoir accès à des boissons fraîches. Nous l'attendons toujours... - aucun produit offert à votre arrivée : pas de bouteille d'eau, de peignoir, de kit brosse à dents dans la chambre.... Bref une usine sans intérêt. Nous ne recommanderons pas cet hôtel sans âme.

The room was clean and we had a great view from our balcony of the port. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good value and plenty was on offer. One negative was that the bar drinks and food were overpriced. €7.50 for a small Fanta or Coke and a litre bottle of water was €5. There are plenty of bars nearby so best get your drinks there as it’s much cheaper.

The hotel and the view from the balcony was very nice, but we had bed bugs and ants in the room and this destroyed our experience at this hotel. We notified the staff, but the problem was not solved and they have ignored our attempts to contact them after our check out. We left with numerous bites from the bed bugs and we will never return,
