The accommodation looks great. Large rooms. Front counter people were very good. PARKING a shamble. There are some free spots out the front but they charge 16 euro to park underneath. This is not listed on their site. The wifi is non existent in the room. The water leaks out of the shower creating a pool on the floor. Breakfast, give it a miss.

La posizione non è delle migliori. Può andare bene se si esce la mattina e si rientra la sera, ma per andare e venire dal centro non è molto comoda. Durante il giorno si può attraversare il Parco Ducale, molto piacevole, mentre la sera il parco è chiuso e ci si ritrova a fare un giro molto più lungo, poco illuminato e in strade isolate. L’hotel è grande ma datato e avrebbe davvero bisogno di qualche intervento di ristrutturazione. La nostra camera era piuttosto angusta, poco luminosa e arredata in uno stile superato, più simile alla stanza di una nonna che a un hotel a quattro stelle. Le foto online risultano sicuramente più accattivanti della realtà. Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio, viene indicato come gratuito, ma i posti gratuiti davanti all’ingresso sono meno di dieci. Abbiamo quindi dovuto lasciare l’auto nel “garage” a 15€ a notte, che tra l’altro non è un parcheggio custodito. Un punto a favore è la pulizia, ottima in tutti gli spazi.

Large old style hotel, very grand inside. Lovely room with massive very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Only stayed one night but we were very happy with the hotel. It was easy to find and park the car and only a short walk into Parma

Parking limited and wasn’t told till we arrived that it was additional. Advertisement on hotels just says onsite parking. Bed needed extra padding but room was tidy. We had the breakfast but waited 20 mins for food to be restocked although a lot of staff on. Was good for an overnight stay.

Supermarket across the street, the park near by was a little shady, also the elevator from the lower parking area was not working and the receptionist did not mention that at check in, so it took me a while to walk around the whole outside of the hotel to find my way in while carrying some baggage, also there were no signs outside where to go, so quite sad for a 4 star hotel.

The decor was plush a little old world that just added to the ambience of the stay. The staff very helpful and the restaurant serves excellent food. Easy walk from train station. Also a good gym I recommend a stay in Parma and if you do visit this hotel is a must

This is one of the old fashioned hotels which are well preserved until today. The furniture, decoration, floor are very nice and makes you feel like you are in the 60's. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is excellent. When you park, there is no sign saying that you have to pay for the parking. When we checked out they told us that we have to pay 15 Euro for 1 night parking and we refused because no one told us about that charge in advance so they were honest and did not charge us. This hotel is highly recommended.

Ideales Hotel um Parma zu besuchen. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht neu aber wird sehr gut gepflegt, ist sehr sauber und sehr gut konserviert. Wir hatten ein sehr grosses, ruhiges (Zimmer gegen Innenhof) und schönes Zimmer. Der 10-minutiger Weg in die Stadt führt durch einen grossen Park. Wir würden nochmals dort buchen.

We were 4 mature Welsh Rugby supporters staying for 3 nights in Parma for the rugby match. We checked in late, at 9.00pm, the reception person was very helpful in sorting the check-in and telling us where the best places for meals in the city centre. Nothing was a bother the whole stay. The room was spotless and very clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was very good with everything you need. You can have unlimited amount of drinks and food. Will definitely stay here again.

A lovely big room , loys of storage and fridge , tea / coffee, free safe , proper hangers huge bathroom lovely towels . Aircon not great , and view not great . Breakfast was excellent, fresh, lovely bread and butter , fresh fruit, huge choice. Reception staff unsmiling but efficient. Lacked any local knowledge , and guides us to visit the centre for shopping , as opposed to a local shopping mall, but in fact the shops and cafes were all closed . It would have been appreciated to get have been told that. And that the park entrance is behind the hotel . Great value, comfy clean room .

Really appreciated the size of the room. Comfortable beds. We booked a room for 4 with one large bed and two singles. The space was generous. Felt clean. Quiet. Right across is a convenient Conad grocery chain store and a great little restaurant / cafe right next to Conad where they make awesome sandwiches, pastries and daily specials. Doesnt look like much from the outside but their food and coffee were awesome. Very conveniently located, wallking distance to the ducal park, museum, cathedral and historic area.

Buena habiracion y baño de tamaño. Muy luminosa y con gran ventanal. Cama comodo y disponía de sitio para trabajar. Se empeñan en poner un edredón en verano que me obliga a poner el A/C a todo volumen por la noche. Un poco antiguo todo pero bien. El servicio de recepcion inmejorable. El servicio de restauración lo peor del hotel. Poco personal, muy caro comidas y bebidas y la comida ni muy buena.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva, come in generale negli Starhotels avendone conosciuti altri, sia nell'accoglienza che nel comfort della camera. Una menzione particolarmente speciale la merita però l'area ristorazione, innanzitutto per l'ottimo assortimento ed elevata qualità dei prodotti proposti a colazione, ma anche per il livello della cucina apprezzata a cena, il tutto magistralmente condotto in modo professionale e cortese da parte del signor Silvio. Da citare soltanto un po' di ritardo un giorno nel rassettare la camera ancora nel pomeriggio. In ogni caso, complimenti!
