This is a spa hotel without a spa in the summer months. Not identified by Expedia until booked. As it was in a decent location I didn’t change it. Good bus service outside. DONT use Uber in Verona it’s double the price of TAXIS.

The breakfast was alright but would have hoped for more. The pool was nice and clean, but unfortunately in the shade for the majority of the day. The room had a balcony which was only accessible by clambering up onto a windowsill and outside - shame as it was a nice place to sit and enjoy the sun!

One of the 3 blinds in the room was broken so you couldn’t shut as all light out. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is as Leo a charge g F if pool towels . All of these items made us feel it was just an OK stay.

We booked this hotel because of its Spa and fitness facilities. Unfortunately, we were told at check-in that these Hotel facilities are not available from 1st June, which we didn't know and it wasn't clearly indicated during the booking process. Dear Hotel staff, please amend the title to indicate Spa/Fitness only available during the winter. There is a good bus service into the city and railway station and travel card available for 3 days. Otherwise, mostly good breakfast, apart from the cooked food section. The pastries were excellent though. Very friendly staff, especially at breakfast - very helpful. Also we enjoyed the fun jacuzzi in the room. ***Correction: At checkout we were told that the fitness was in fact open all the time, only the Spa was closed - too late as we had finished our stay. Communication could be better.

Hotel staff were welcoming, room was nice, easy to walk into Verona itself. Parking was under hotel which was really good. We were only there for one night so didn’t really use facilities but gym looked good.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and plentiful. (I want their coffee machine.) Property may have seen better days. Room was clean, but inviting jetted tub was at issue. Hard to get in and out, grouting was shot, shower had little water pressure. Everything we wanted to do was a 20-30 minute walk.

Very nice and wekll maintained hotel. Probably best for meetings and small groups, and guests who want a quiet place and pool. The bedding is very uncomfortable for a 4 star hotel - very hard beds and rough sheets. It is a long walk into the old city so bring your walking shoes.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool and Spa. The hotel staff were very pleasant, willing and happy to help. The hotel was clean. Bathrooms were very modern. Rooms were clean and adequate. The spa was not open during summer which we were aware of but during summer months the pool was open outside with sun loungers which was nice. The pool was clean. Good range of food at breakfast. There was a bus station about a 30 Devine walk from hotel where you could get the bus into Verona centre which was very convenient. Overall this is a very nice hotel stay.

A/C worked fine, the room was spacious (with big safety deposit box), breakfast was OK. The location of the hotel is not good if you plan to use public transportation frequently. Storage (luggage) room is a ruin (old room with spiders and their webs, lots of old unnecessary stuff plus cables hanging around) without any assistance - anyone can get inside and grab whatever wanted. If I provided you a picture from this room, you would say it is below 1* standard.

Great hotel for staying in Verona in the summer as it has an outdoor pool and is only 20-25 min walk from centro storico! Rooms are nice and clean. Ok breakfast, but nothing special. Not far from station and just a short walk to a nice square Piazza Corrubia with restaurants and beautiful Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore. Hotel a bit dated, could do with a little upgrade to meet 4 star.

Hotel San Marco has a good location, clean rooms, and helpful staff, which I appreciated. However, the experience fell short of 4-star expectations. The breakfast was quite basic and, frankly, disappointing. The bread was overly salty, and the hardboiled eggs were fridge-cold and overcooked. Oddly, the hot breakfast options included vegetables like cauliflower and Brussels sprouts—an unusual and not particularly appealing choice for the morning. The kettles provided for tea were painfully slow, and there was no kettle or iron in the room, which I would expect as standard in a hotel of this category. Also, there is no restaurant at all, so you have to go out to eat—even in pouring rain—or you’ll starve. The room setup also had some issues. A lamp on the desk partially blocked the TV screen, and the bathroom mirror was installed so low that you practically had to kneel to see your face. The shower was cramped with a massive shower panel, the rainfall showerhead didn’t work, and the raised platform it sat on posed a tripping hazard. The balcony could have been a nice touch, but there was no furniture provided. You had to carry chairs and a table from the room if you wanted to enjoy it—hardly convenient. Lastly, the bed was very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Overall, some good points, but quite a few flaws that need addressing.

Generous sized room, clean and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff, within walking distance to the restaurants and city centre. Swimming pool was most appreciated after a hot day. Would have loved a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee.

Nice room and good staff. Loved the pool, but it was a bit far from the centre and the windows and doors opened oddly (so they'd get in the way). Also, we turned the AC off and left the window open, but the cleaner would close the window and turn the AC back on each day - very annoying and terrible for the environment.

Great service minded receptionist, on arrival we were given a room with a very noisy aircon, I talked to her and she immediately moved us to a renovated room. Great service, friendly staff, good location in walkable distance to the old city and with a relaxing pool area!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel San Marco Fitness Pool and Spa. The hotel staff were very pleasant, willing and happy to help. The hotel was clean. Bathrooms were very modern. Lovely stay. Staff were amazing and very helpful. We lost a phone at the train station and they went above and beyond to try and track it down. Pool was lovely. Not too far away from the main attractions (20-30 min stroll or 5-10 mins in a taxi) we used the scooters outside and were there in no time.

Rooms are hi tech with electric blinds and jacuzzi, which was much appreciated after a long day of walking. Also the fact that bus 11 to the centre stopped just 1min walk away made it convenient even tho the property is quite out of the centre (good 30m walk to arena for.example)

Das Hotel war mit dem Bus vom Bahnhof gut erreichbar ( 10 Minuten Fahrt). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Im Hotel selber und auch im Garten draußen konnte man gemütlich sitzen. Draußen nur etwas laut w/Straßenlärm. Das Gym hatte für ein Hotel eine gute Auswahl an Geräten. Nur 2 oder 3 müssten ausgetauscht werden da nicht mehr in einwandfreien Zustand. Das einzige was wir bemängeln, ist die Speisenauswahl beim Frühstück.

Great stay! Great pool as well & the breakfast and room were both excellent. Only thing being I couldnt get the shower to go hot it was luke warm. Apart from that it was great!
