Das Zimmer war riesig, ein wenig altertümlich und der Zug fuhr 5 Meter vor unserem Balkon entlang. Der Beach Club hat auch schon einmal bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber es war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr nett und man bekam gut einen Parkplatz.

Tres bel établissement, parking très apprécié, bon petit déjeuner avec un choix varié. En revanche le restaurant de l’hotel est particulièrement médiocre : au dîner à la carte poisson et poulpe surgelés, sauce et accompagnement manifestement chauffés à la va vite au micro ondes, pain rassis, ensemble pas du tout à la hauteur d’un 4*, particulièrement décevant et surprenant par rapport aux autres prestations de l’établissement.

Lovely hotel, great pool but not accessible for elderly. Lovely staff. Very good free bus service into Taormina which is helpful as there isn’t a lot of restaurants easily accessible from the hotel (other than the hotel restaurant).

Struttura molto carina direttamente sul mare con lido privato a disposizione. Ottima la cucina ed il servizio in sala.

Il lido e la spiaggia valgono da soli il biglietto. Storico hotel con Posizione Eccellente, Pulito e organizzato.

Property was well located on the beach just outside of Taormina. A shuttle bus was available if you wanted to get to the city. Beach club was included in the tariff and well appreciated. Staff were immaculate in restaurants, reception and housekeeping. It felt like a 5 star hotel. I could not fault this resort.

The hotel is very simple. Pros: hotel is clean. Rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is fantastic and extremely welcoming. Beach is stunning, probably best beach in whole Sicily. Shuttle to Taormina is great. Reception staff is fantastic. Cons:without car you can’t walk anywhere. Parking is difficult. There’s problem with lunch with very limited options especially for children. No store or shop in hotel territory. Room is very small. No room in closet for 2 people.

We liked the shuttle to Taormina, which was very convenient, as was the free parking! The staff was lovely and everything was clean. The property was beautiful.

We originally booked if for only 2 nights and ended up staying for 4. Breakfast is nice. The beach is rocky so dont expect to be doing the backstroke there. Pool is very nice as well. For some reason the elevators and the bathrooms have a funky smell. No idea what or why. But all in all, would without hesitation go back there. Front desk staff couldnt be nicer.

The beach was amazing, staff was friendly and provided great service. Food and drink was great and so were the servers and bar tenders. Need to invest in better Wifi, barely worked half the time! Other than that is was nice!

Struttura fantastica,camera ampia vista mare stupenda e pulitissima dotata di tutti i servizi. Colazione ottima ed abbondante,idem la cena Personale gentile e disponibile,parcheggio e servizio navetta perfetto!! Consigliatissimo 😊 Ritornero' sicuramente... Un hotel da 5 stelle

The hotel was a distance from Taormina town but the shuttle service was excellent, thank you Salvatore & co. The reception was well tended and the reception staff were always available to answer questions and recommend good restaurants in town. The room had a great view of the sea. The room was clean thanks to the team of Chambermaids. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the bar was fully stocked. The staff, especially Adriano, Gian Luca and Fabrizio were very accommodating and always found time to chat with customers. Will definitely go back one day

L'Hotel Caparena è una bellissima struttura situata proprio sulla costa. Il punto di forza è sicuramente la spiaggia privata che è superiore sia come acqua che come spazi a tutte le altre spiagge in zona. Ci sono tuttavia dei punti da migliorare: - la colazione finisce alle 10 e arrivando alle 9.30 già tutti i vassoi erano completamente vuoti con una scelta molto limitata e personale di sala disorganizzato (quasi impossibile trovare dei bicchieri) - il Beach Bar che è sicuramente un punto di forza della struttura ha una scelta molto limitata (non ha neanche i gelati confezionati) e chiude alle 18 non dando la possibilità di farsi un aperitivo fronte mare. - La camera che era molto pulita e spaziosa in bagno aveva pochissima luce e diventava complesso prepararsi. Tutto sommato una bella struttura dove si sta bene con qualche pecca da migliorare.

The beach is great - quiet and relaxing. Breakfast good quality buffet style. Beach bar food was not the best standard or variety but plenty of nice lunch options at places along the beach from the hotel. The minibus service to/from Taormina was really good - took the hassle and cost out of taxis.

Yes the hotel is dated - but everything else over compensates ! The hotel is genuine beach side with a lovely beach area and pool area for guests. Tranquil garden setting that is so relaxing. Every room has their own garden or balcony and rooms are spacious. The staff were amazing ! The free shuttle to Taormina at all hours is so handy

Fue todo perfecto. Cama cómoda. Habitación súper grande y baño con todo lo necesario para estar muy cómodos. El desayuno espectacular. El servicio en la habitación muy bueno. Servicio en la playa genial. Chiringuito muy bien atendido. Check in rápido y nos permitieron acceder a una mejor habitación. Le bajo la nota solamente por el wifi. Solo anduvo bien en el looby. En la habitación nada de nada. Deberían mejorar este aspecto y sería todo EXCELENTE. Dato adicional para que la nota sea 9.80/10 fue el servicio gratuito para estar en 5 minutos a pasos de la Puerta Messina de Taormina.

We kregen een upgrade naar een junior suite. Prachtige grote kamer met grote badkamer en balkon. In de ochtend prachtige zonsopkomst, het uitzicht is echt heel mooi! Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en een shuttlebus naar het centrum. Personeel is ook erg vriendelijk. Kortom, een aanrader!

We loved the room, especially the big bed and the balcony overlooking the sea. Hearing the big waves crash in was magical! Breakfast was very good too. The only reason really I’ve marked it down was an incident on our first night there, Saturday 19th October. We had arrived very tired and were planning an early-ish night so had switched off the light around 10pm. However at this time the music from the event outside started and was very loud. We spoke to reception and they agreed to shut the door to the venue but said that it wouldn’t change the volume much. They told us this was common on a Saturday night and that the music would go on to midnight. We retuned to the room but the music was if anything louder and the door had clearly not been shut. We then asked to speak to the duty manager and Michel Strienza came to talk to us and his attitude from the outset was aggressive and belligerent and he was rude to us, telling us that the hotel was full (when it clearly wasn’t), lying that the music wasn’t loud and it would only be half an hour until it finished, in direct contradiction to his desk staff. He was the very definition of arrogance and rudeness before he stormed off. It is one thing to have music playing on a Saturday night, but it should be at least advertised to guests that it’s happening especially as the hotel website is all about having a relaxing break. It is a completely different thing to be rude to your guests. He needs some extra customer service training.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The location is bad - between the highway and the railway, Wi-Fi is so weak that it would be better to say there is none. Coffee for breakfast is terrible, food is poor and low quality. The hotel is definitely not worth the money!

The beach is great - quiet and relaxing. Breakfast good quality buffet style. Beach bar food was not the best standard or variety but plenty of nice lunch options at places along the beach from the hotel. The minibus service to/from Taormina was really good - took the hassle and cost out of taxis.

We were very excited to stay in Caparena hotel before we arrived. The hotel seemed very nice in the pictures. The reality was something else. For a room that's over 200€ / night, it was a huge disappointment. The room was very outdated. The air conditioner was either non-existing or too cold. The main source of light was broken. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom flodded when taking a shower and it looked like a hospital bathroom. There was no view from the room and it was really dark. The hotel itself was pretty okay and well managed, especially the outdoors. However we were a bit amazed about the quality of the beach bar, with no table service and salads served from take-away bowls. We chose not to dine at the hotel because of this. However we did go for a drink and dessert to the hotel restaurant later and were greeted with arrogance and no desire to serve us. The waiters weren't friendly and ignored us most of the time. Breakfast was pretty sad for this level of hotel, with not too many options. We were prepared to give all this feedback on spot, but nobody cared or asked how we've enjoyed our stay, not even at the check out. The hospitality wasn't there. Only positive things were the private beach and free shuttle service to Taormina. By far the most underwhelming hotel experience we've had in Sicily, wouldn't recommend with these prices unfortunately.

The location and beach are definitely a plus! Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. The dining ,either breakfast or dinner is top notch. We would definitely stay here again if we teturn to Taormina.

Very nice hotel. Crazy that they charge for pool and or beach towels. Staff was wonderful, lost my bracelet and they found it and returned it to me.

The location is the best to enjoy the beach of Taormina. It is like living a dream. The free shuttle service means you can enjoy Taormina centro any time of the day or night. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is of an exceptional level. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a beachside stay in Taormina.

Great stay. Quiet small hotel feel on beach. A short shuttle ride to town. Best of both worlds only exception I heard was no irons in room. We did not need but in case you go formal. You may want to bring a small travel one

Siamo stati benissimo, ottima colazione, buon ristorante, personale impeccabile, struttura tenuta molto bene. Ci rivediamo il prossimo anno.
